Anyone who's familiar with the Army's Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Training (P3T) program has probably heard pretty negative things about it. Historically, women have avoided participating if they can get out of it, and if they can't they've been disappointed by what they got out of it. Our guest on this week's episode is changing that. She's bringing modern human performance to P3T and traveling around the around training leader's on up to date principles and methods. Kelsey Mathias is a pelvic health Occupational Therapist. Her career has been spent in private practice and working with U.S Military Service Members and Veterans. She currently works as a contractor supporting the U.S Army as an instructor training leaders from interdisciplinary teams on a holistic approach to pregnancy and postpartum physical training. In the episode Kelsey references the updated policies which can be found in Army Directive 2022-06. As a reminder, like all of our guests, the views expressed by Kelsey Mathias do not reflect the views of the government.
Hello everyone, welcome to another episode that I'm so excited to share with you all. It focuses on a topic that's talked about a lot these days, and that's trauma. Trauma happens to us all but there are a lot of misconceptions around it. So I've invited Ramona Kossowan, a personal empowerment coach and Gentle Trauma Release Practitioner, to join me in discussing how things we experience induce patterns in our lives that keep us stuck in cycles that don't serve us well. Ramona has made it her business to help women process these patterns to feel empowered and at peace with their bodies.Trauma can cause an unconscious bodily response that originally functioned to keep us safe, but that response gets embedded into our daily lives so we aren't breaking free of what hurt us. Ramona explains how she works with women at the emotional level but also the physical in terms of fitness for strength in order to calm the nervous system and reconnect with their bodies. We talk about addressing the trauma that's holding us back and how if self-love is too big a leap we can start with self-kindness. Ramona shares some of her own story with me and we really talk a lot about how trauma looks, why we hold onto the patterns it forms, and why we deserve freedom from it. We deserve to feel strong and empowered. We deserve to heal. Ramona gets right to the heart of that, right to the place where we're being held back. She's so insightful and warm and knowledgeable that I just know you'll enjoy this conversation as much as I did.__About Ramona Kossowan:An authentic, insightful catalyst for change, Ramona Kossowan walks her talk. Having taken charge of her own life at a point where she felt directionless and disempowered, she intentionally transformed herself, moving from a place of unfulfillment, exhaustion, and self-sabotage to become the strong, centred, confident leader she is today, now thriving in her rewarding role as the founder of Ramona K coaching.Extremely passionate about making that same profound difference for her clients, Ramona makes their ultimate well-being her priority for real, readily accessible results. Employing her talents and training as a personal empowerment coach, fitness professional and Gentle Trauma Release Practitioner, this compassionate thought leader guides women to reconnect with their own innate wisdom and reaffirm their true essence, and feel fabulous in their own bodies again. Thus, they have the means to heal any debilitating feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness that are holding them back from the vibrant, exciting, limitless life they deserve. It's never too late to stop living life by default. In this week's episode, I talk about how chaos often precedes peace, freedom, love, and alignment. It's been a heavy week as I attended a family funeral and reflected on how grief changes our perception. During this time, I listened to my fav, Kathrin's podcast, and received timely reminders about growth during tough times. We're collectively experiencing turmoil, highlighted by recent disturbing events. Everything in life is interconnected—from the cosmic to the personal level—and many of us are facing personal challenges and other upheavals.Manifestation isn't just about the fun tools; it's about doing deep internal work. Chaos usually indicates that something better is on its way. For instance, losing a job might be making room for a bigger opportunity that aligns better with our true purpose. We face and overcome challenges to grow stronger, learning valuable lessons & becoming the best versions of ourselves along the way. It's crucial to stay grounded and focus on personal healing to be a light in dark times. All in all, I emphasize the importance of showing up, healing, expanding, and bringing our gifts to the world. Even when things seem bleak, everything is happening as it should. Let's commit to being the light and doing our part in the grand puzzle of life. Remember, we are all in this together.Stay strong and take care. Love you all!--Let's connect!
I hope whether you celebrate the Fourth of July or not you had as beautiful of a weekend as I did! As I return from a week long vacation, I am busy busy trying to get caught back up on things, so this weeks episode is coming to you live from my car so excuse the audio quality! This week I wanted to talk about becoming the master manifester and creator within our lives. So many people go through life blindly thinking everything is happenstance or that " these are just the cards I've been dealt"... I have just seen too much proof at this point that this is just not the truth, and it's time we all take our life fully into our own hands. So let's talk about all of this a little deeper, and I highly encourage you to take advantage of the current 50% discount and utilize my 21 day "manifest empowered" program if you are REALLY ready to take back your power & finally make your dream reality come to life!Manifest Empowered Program--Let's connect!

Hey, Empowered Fam! This week's episode is coming a bit late because I just wrapped up a divinely orchestrated retreat weekend. Holding such deep space took a lot out of me, but it was beyond worth it! In this episode, I dive into the importance of our words and intentions, sharing a story about how I accidently manifested running one on one retreats, even sooner than I thought I was "ready" for.I also touch on the transformative power of these retreats. Watching my client's transformation in just three days was extremely rewarding. Plus, I discuss how leaning into my feminine energy and seeking (plus receiving) help has already made a dramatic difference in my life. From hiring a social media manager to finally getting a nanny, these changes are allowing me to receive more and do less!I hope this episode inspires you to manifest your desires, and embrace the support around you. Hey Empowered Fam! This week's episode is a quick, motivational pick-me-up that was inspired by an incredible concert experience I had last night. I had the chance to sit super close to the stage for the first time, and it was absolutely exhilarating! As many of you might know, I've had a lifelong passion for music and performing, and this concert really reminded me of how important it is to stay connected to the things that light us up. In this episode, I dive into the importance of recapturing the joy and creativity we often leave behind in childhood. What were those things that made your heart sing when you were younger? How can you incorporate more of that joy into your life now? I also share some emotional reflections on living life fully and not postponing joy and fulfillment. This conversation gets deep as I talk about my personal experiences, including some profound messages I received during shamanic healing sessions. These insights have urged me to slow down and connect more deeply with my purpose. Join me as we explore how to reclaim your passion, play more, and truly live life to its fullest. This episode is about taking bold, small steps towards a richer, more fulfilling life. I hope this episode inspires you to take action today, and as always, thank you for being here.--Let's connect!

Hi, Empowered Fam! You may have noticed I've been sharing interviews recently, so it feels so great to be back with you one on one.In this weeks episode, I talk about how I've been taking a break to recharge and prepare for a significant energy up-level, highlighting the importance of trusting life's natural cycles.I share a fresh update on my journey of transitioning from my old identity as "Fit D" the personal trainer to fully embracing my multi faceted role as "The Empowered Coach". By acting "as if" and fully committing to your desired mindset, profound shifts can occur. You'll hear how by instilling this belief, one of my mentorship clients experienced immediate positive changes by investing in her new path. I hope the insights from today inspire you to trust your own cycles, release what no longer serves you, and fully embody your desired reality. If this episode resonated with you, please share it, tag me on Instagram, and leave a review! Sending all my love and already looking forward to connecting with you again next time.

The more I discuss with colleagues and experts how to provide the patient with great care and how to avoid the commoditization trap that insurance companies have doctors firmly trapped in, the more the idea of add-on services keeps revealing itself as a great option. Whether you are in-network with insurance or are a cash practice, some services are not covered by insurance or should be charged at a separate cash rate from your traditional chiropractic care. Some of those add-on services include but are not limited to, Shock Wave Therapy, Dry Needling, Laser Therapy, Physical Training, Supplementation, and more. In this episode, I interview Dr. David Rudnick about how he provides world-class care in his sports chiropractic clinic and has escaped insurance companies' commoditization trap. The good news is that you don't have to be a hard-sell clinic. You can provide add-on services without pressuring your patients into spending money they don't want to. You can reach Dr. Rudnick at davidrudnickdc@gmail.com.

I learned a very hard lesson this week, so I'm sharing a powerful message I received so you don't have to! I've found myself enjoying the mundane day to day things less & less, and turns out there's a deeper reason for this! Thankfully I directly downloaded a very clear practice on how to manifest easier and faster, without getting lost daydreaming about the future. So now I'm refocusing on being very present in the now, the only moment we actually have for certain. ❤️Let's connect!
Things have just been so heightened for me post solar eclipse. I've been feeling ALL of the feels. Slowing down and being extra present. Extra intentional. Extra mindful. And I've been having such a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for life and my self. My body. My mind. My consciousness. All of it. So of course I had to share, and hopefully encourage you to join me. ❤️ ---Let's connect!
In this episode I share a sure fire way that I can tap into what my body needs and what is truly best for me in any given moment. Our ego can trick us, our feelings and emotions can trick us, external guidance can confuse us, but this tool will always show me exactly what is best. Our bodies are so incredibly smart and hold so much wisdom that we just have to tap into. But quieting out the noise of the world and its opinions isn't always so easy. Now you'll have exactly what you need to cut through it all and receive a clear answer on exactly what is best, for YOU! Enjoy! Xoxo---Let's connect!
Stick with me on this one! I know the beginning may have you wanting to punch me through the speaker haha. But, it is the truth! And if it's true for me, it's true for you. It's time to start collapsing timelines in the moment and stop making achieving everything we desire so damn hard. Because quite frankly, where the ones preventing it from being so dang easy!---Let's connect!
Okay so I know this title might have confused, or your insides cringing a little bit (if it does this is a sign of something that needs some loving healing!), but it's actually pretty damn empowering! Were gonna talk about a less than savory review that I received, and why I am totally okay with it! Like truly. I don't want to be for EVERYBODY, and by the end of this short and potent ep, you won't want to be either!---Let's connect!

Socials: - IG: cesagracie - www.cesalina.com - IG: team_neverquit In this episode you will hear: • Back in the day, there were eighteen martial arts, different clans that had different practices in Japan, and they all ended with “Jitsu.” (7:08) • There are no bad kids. There's bad environments for kids. (10:41) • [Jiu Jitsu] is an equalizer of emotions for kids. Jiu Jitsu is gonna honor your personality. (11:04) • Nobody needs to tell us where you're gonna find the environment, because when you walk in, the systems that are in place teach you before you hear a word from your coach. (12:54) • [My grandfather] saw immediately what the power of that art was and the incredible responsibility that came with it. (13:45) • This [Jiu Jitsu] is a tool for self-development. I'm not here to learn how to fight. I'm here to feel powerful and feel capable without having to look powerful and look capable. (14:00) • That's the beautiful thing about Jiu Jitsu, is that it lives on the inside. (14:21) • [My family] proved the efficiency of Jiu Jitsu to the rest of the world. (20:43) • If the whole world learns these tools, we're gonna live in a society that is more peaceful, that is more respectful, because when you have human beings that are self-confident and compassionate, you start changing the way we interact with each other, and we start changing the way we live our lives. (21:19) • As a grown up, I understand the difference between winners and champions. (30:06) • The most important thing about Jiu Jitsu that it builds and internal constitution that is so strong that you can deal with anything in life. (36:32) • The greatest value of Jiu Jitsu is applied outside of the mat. (40:36) • Ultimately, the greatest skill you can have is awareness. (44:01) • We have to be brutally honest with ourselves as to where we're standing in life. (55:32) • What's actually gonna take you to the top are the mindsets that you've created in your journey in Jiu Jitsu. (1:01:58) • [While climbing Mount Everest] the one question that I did not ask myself was “should I go back to Everest Base Camp?” (1:03:16) • Another part that was really hard [while climbing Mount Everest] was when I saw dead bodies in the mountain for the first time. (1:03:28) • I hope everyone gets to experience something in their lives that they have a hard time describing. (1:10:30) • When I got back to base camp, I immediately called my family, because I didn't tell anybody I was climbing Mount Everest. (1:20:29) • Champions are still champions even when they lose. (1:25:35) • When you have confidence in yourself, you solve so many problems. (1:54:35)
