The writer most compared to Leslie Knope, Aisha Muharrar (Parks and Rec, Hacks, The Good Place), joins Jim O'Heir and Greg Levine to discuss “Bus Tour”. In this episode, Aisha breaks out her Parks notebook recounting the time Amy Poehler helped her out of a jam, the logistics of maneuvering a full-sized campaign bus through a small Los Angeles neighborhood, the hidden sweetness of April Ludgate, and just how many pies to the face Jim had to endure while filming. This week Mark and Allen break down the Episode where we learned Ann once went out on a date with Perd Hapley! It is Ann and Chris' last day in Pawnee, and Leslie has organized a huge going away party so they can enjoy one last occasion with them. At the party, Leslie explains that because she doesn't know when she will see Ann again, the party's theme is a celebration of everything that will happen in the coming year. Furthermore, in celebration of how their friendship started, Leslie secretly arranges for her and Ann to officially break ground on Pawnee Commons at Lot 48 as a going away present. However, Harold, the Director of Public Works, is angry that Leslie went over his head to do that, since his department did NOT sign off on it. Later, Leslie finds out Harold put a padlock on the fence surrounding Lot 48, halting her plans for a midnight groundbreaking. Trying to think of a way around this, Leslie tells Ann about her surprise plan. Ann is up for one more crazy caper with Leslie, and insists they do whatever they need to do for the groundbreaking to take place. Meanwhile, as the guys help Chris pack up the last of his things, they notice several boxes with their names on them, which Chris reveals are "buddy boxes" ... his gift to each of the guys, with each one containing a memento symbolizing Chris' friendship with each of them. They open up the boxes to find very heartfelt, thoughtful gifts. Clearly, the guys were not prepared for such a meaningful exchange ... they got him a gift card to that awesome store "Pots and Pans" ... and they try to come up with something better over the course of the evening. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... Does the groundbreaking of Pawnee Commons take place as planned? Do the guys succeed with their gift attempt, or do they continue to suck? What are all the things celebrated by Leslie's farewell extravaganza? How does Leslie make Lot 48 "raccoon-safe"? What was within everyone's buddy box? Can Ben come up with one final idea that will be meaningful to Chris? Will this be Leslie and Ann's last crazy caper together? Is this really the end of an era? Loyal viewers, please join us for this bittersweet farewell to the eternally cheerful Chris Traeger, and the beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox that is Ann Perkins. Goodbye, musk ox. This week Mark and Allen break down the Episode where we are introduced to Ben's calculator, "Dr. Buttons"! Still losing heavily in the recall election, Leslie uses the press conference covering the Pawnee-Eagleton Tip Off Classic to score some cheap points by slamming Eagleton. A bit later, Chris tells Ben their old boss from Indianapolis wants them to take a look into Eagleton's budget problem, something which delights Leslie to no end. At the meeting, Eagleton's city council, including Leslie's counterpart, Ingrid de Forest, prefers not to talk openly about money, instead allowing Chris and Ben direct access to their files, so they can see for themselves. They find out Eagleton's debt-equity ratio is off the charts, and they are now on the brink of an epic financial disaster. Leslie is excited, not only because this is a potential way to get Pawnee back on her side (since she "saved" Pawnee from bankruptcy, and now their worst enemy is about to collapse into bankruptcy), but also, quite simply, because it's a chance to stick it to Eagleton. To that end, while Chris and Ben legitimately want to try and help Eagleton, and come up with a viable solution, Leslie puts together a mock presentation disguised as a financial recovery plan. Either way, unfortunately for Eagleton, having borrowed everything they can from the state, Pawnee is now their only hope. Meanwhile, Ron is disturbed by the lack of privacy he has after receiving a magazine addressed to him at Diane's house, where he has lived for less than a month. Ron recruits Tom and Donna to help him get completely off the grid, although quite frankly Tom and Donna are confused as to why anyone would want that, as they LOVE the grid. Ron gets rid of his cell phone, chops up his credit cards, destroys his City Hall car park access keycard, removes his name plate from his office door, destroys his paediatrician files, and even goes around to all the diners and restaurants in town where he has set food eating records and removes his pictures. Finally, Ann and April take a road trip together to the city of Bloomington, IN. They do so for two reasons: So April can attend her orientation day for Bloomington's School of Veterinary Medicine, and so Ann can shop at some of the nicer baby stores, which far outclass what she can find in Pawnee. Ann leaves April to her orientation so she can do some shopping. However, before long, April shows up at the baby store Ann is at, apparently not a fan of the orientation and bailing almost immediately. Ann insists that April return to the orientation and complete it, but April will only do so if Ann agrees to play along with an embarrassing scheme she's concocted, where Ann pretends to be April's 65-year-old grandmother. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... Will Leslie succeed in getting Pawnee back on her side? Can Ron truly get completely off the grid? Will Ann agree to April's crazy scheme? Is Eagleton truly on the brink of financial disaster? Do Tom and Donna help or hinder Ron towards his goal? Will April finish her orientation? Can the Pawnee gang find a way to help Eagleton ... or they even want to? Will there be any drawbacks to Ron's efforts? Is April still on track to go to vet school? Loyal viewers, there are some big shoes to fill after the fantastic Season 6 premiere ... is this episode up to the task? Only one way to find out! This week Mark and Allen break down the Episode where we are introduced to the Hompherman Snow Globe Museum! While hosting "Galentine's Day", Leslie realizes Ann is alone, so she asks the gang to help find someone for her. Chris, still depressed about being dumped by Jerry's daughter Milly, volunteers to DJ the Valentine's Dance they are organizing ... but unfortunately ends up playing depressing, somber music. Ann arrives at the dance, and Leslie unsuccessfully tries to set her up with numerous men. April, who openly dislikes Ann, brings her creepy friend Orin as a "date", leading Leslie to harshly criticize her. Tom steps up to help Ann out, making Ann feel better with his humorous efforts. While talking to Leslie, Chris tells her he is sad because he believes Milly was his soulmate, but Leslie cheers him up with a pep talk, but says he is also at fault for being single since he dumped Ann. Meanwhile, Leslie gave Ben a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt, filled with intricate riddles hidden all over Pawnee in order to discover where she wants to meet him that night. Ben has trouble right off the bat, but thankfully, Andy and Ron decide to help Ben out. Despite Ron's claims to the contrary, he appears to be rather excited with the prospect of, and suprisingly good at solving, riddles. While in general they make good progress, it comes to their attention that there are 25 clues in total. Fearing they will never get done in time, they agree to split up and find the riddles out of order, in hopes of more quickly finding the last one. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... Will Chris snap out of his funk? How does Ron solve the mystery of the cryptex? Is Ann compatible with any of the men at the dance? How does Leslie use Pizza Hut to her advantage? Where is the final meeting place, and can Ben get there in time? Loyal podcast viewers, season 4 has been on a roll, and we think this episode will be no exception - come see if we're right! Many thanks to our wonderful sponsor, "JJ's Diner".

Oh, yes, hi. This week's show features a conversation with your new favorite human, AISHA MUHARRAR. She is a writer for television's PARKS AND RECREATION, and she's also who you want to be your best friend, but she might be too busy for that? Aisha talks to Julie about seeing Britney Spears in Las Vegas, what a perfect book club would be like, and what to do in an earthquake (nobody knows). Also- Julie is furious at Ellen for hurting Liza, why it's passé to judge people for being unhappy, and what exactly Cameron Diaz is getting away with in that new Annie trailer (murder). Enjoy this show please.
