On today's episode I have artist and writer Nathan Hamill and Filipkowski!   I first found Nathan's work at DesignerCon back in 2019, which eventually led me to the comic strip that he and Eric started making called "2 Dumb Dinos". After over 295 comic strips, they released a "2 Dumb Dino's" book back in October, and I have absolutely loved it!   I talked with Nathan and Eric about how they got their start, what led to them creating "2 Dumb Dinos", Nathan working at Bongo Comics on "The Simpsons", Eric working on "Drunk History" where he played Abraham Lincoln, getting to work on South Park and Sponge Bob, their mutual bonding over The Simpsons and the Chris Elliot sitcom, "Get A Life", and so much more.    A huge Thank You to Nathan and Eric for taking the time to join me on the show. Make sure to follow them on all of the links at www.onthemicpodcast.com and pick up a copy of "2 Dumb Dinos" online or at. your local comic book shop!   Thanks, Nathan and Eric!   Enjoy the episode!

Transformers: The Last Knight is the fifth film directed by Michael Bay about the storied toy line. The prior four were of varying quality, but The Last Knight stands out as by far the worst. A convoluted mess, it rewrites the legend of King Arthur, infusing the Autobots into the tale. This, of course, leads to a whole bunch of other nonsense, including Merlin's magical staff being of Cybertron origin. Anyway, as we rumble through this slog, we're treated to secret societies, moronic plot twists, and a smorgasbord of explosions and CGI bombast. It's a lot to digest, folks. Mercifully, though, The Last Knight's poor box office performance and abysmal reviews ensured this would be the last of the so-called Bayformers.  Now, sit back, transform your taste buds with an Automatic IPA from Creature Comforts, and don't let Merlin's staff fall into Megatron's hands! Rita Moreno is an absolute living legend who is celebrating her 93rd birthday and about eight decades in Hollywood. She came to New York with her mom from Puerto Rico when she was five years old. She got started in dance classes at age nine and started her career in the entertainment industry quickly thereafter.  She's been in so many classic movies, like The King and I, Singin' in the Rain, and West Side Story. A year later, she won a second Emmy for her work on The Rockford Files.  Rita has done countless guest appearances, was a lead in a bunch of TV shows, but what our Millennial hearts will care about the most is that she provided the voice of the title character in the PBS Series, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?. A tribute Barbie of her was just released based on her look that she wore when she won an Oscar in 1962.To this day, she is one of the busiest stars in show business.
