THE THESIS: The capture of the institutions in the United States is at a crisis point. People who, from any objective standard, have no business anywhere near our military or intelligence services are playing central roles. Some are using our money and their training and tools in hacking societies to meddle in American politics, which is the precursor to American elections. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: No one knows the day or hour of the return of Lord Jesus. Every generation believes they live in the “end times.” I am not saying we live in that era, but the corruption globally--and, now, in America--are at epically broad and perverse levels. And wars--as the Bible speaks or increased wars--are being waged against citizens by their governments. 3 Specific Things That Point to the End TimesTHE NEWS & COMMENT:The great Chris Bray researched a woman--a PhD named Caroline Orr--who helps run a US military funded group that specializes in “cognitive security”, keeping people's minds safe. If she truly has that expertise, that would mean she also knows how to get into people's minds. She either suffers from a bizarre case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) or she is really ba at getting into the minds of people who are “not wise in their own minds”, who “trust God and shun evil.” Chris's first piece on her . . . wait until you see part two. [VIDEO] - Like Adolf Hitler, Donald Trump Drinks BeveragesSo, Caroline Orr's concern about Trump's rallies are he repeats himself on stage and, he holds rallies! This woman is unbothered by rallies from Barack Hussein Obama who constantly repeated himself and who appeared to stage fainting people into his speeches: [VIDEO] - This seems normal: people supposedly fainting at Obama's speeches[VIDEO] - The original Dear Leader song about ObamaCaroline Orr was not concerned about kids singing Obama songs, Dear Leader style. [VIDEO] - Obama song by kids with North Korea remixWhy was this PhD, who works for a group that gets military moneys to effect “cognitive security” not worried about the attempted deification of Barack Hussein Obama? Was it because she employs a strict, professional, laissez-faire, hands-off stance on the choices Americans make in elections? Nope. Caroline Orr loves Antifa. No, she doesn't just accept the terrorists, she writes pieces defending a group that has committed at least two cold-blooded, political murders in American cities, Portland and Denver and that has attempted to kill cops all around America. This woman, this expert in hacking people's minds, this woman who gets your tax money from your military and intelligence communities is a fan of a group that expressly desires the overthrow our the US system and the installation of a Maoist regime. Part Two of Chris Bray's research Caroline Orr and her organization, ARLIS, the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security at the University of Maryland. The Military is Intervening in American Politics; Trump is a fascist, says the military intelligence checkbookOur government is prepping an environment where using your First Amendment right to question them is reason for you to be arrested. It's happening at the national level with the FBI SWAT Team assaults on pro-life activists and it's happening at the local level. Sometimes, even lefties get arrested to questioning the government:[VIDEO] - Criminal Criticism; in which disagreement equals handcuffsThis man brilliantly fought back. He won the argument, here. A Sassy Little Podcast for Getting Over It with Sandra Ann Miller
We are swimming in a swamp of mis- and disinformation. Dr. Caroline Orr Bueno (one of my favorite people on Smart Twitter) breaks it down for us. Misinformation vs. disinformation, coordinated efforts and bots, inauthentic activity, information disorder, holding social media companies responsible, Twitter's misinformation button, global reach of disinformation through the internet, social media companies lack of willingness to share data with researchers/lack of transparency, the need to study the extent of the problem, Facebook revoking access to researchers at NYU who were studying ads, Facebook's built-in/automated tools creating groups of extremist propaganda, Facebook's business model is to promote inflammatory information and keep people engaged, this leads to violence, the anti-vaccine industry makes social media companies over $1billion per year, Fox News and culture wars, what is profitable, erasing history/facts from websites when it no longer suits your agenda (45 and Afghanistan), politicizing vaccines, triaging at hospitals, the people being deceived and the people deceiving them, information as a weapon, using information to identify who is in your group and who's an outsider, corrections and fact-checks don't fix disinformation because people aren't necessarily looking for correct information but what conforms to a certain narrative, how do we reach those people, the demand side of of mis/disinformation, QAnon, infanticide, rabbit holes and algorithms, failed Q predictions, the insidious nature of conspiracy theories, regressive logic, violence and aggression, being fed by the algorithm, difficulty in predicting behavior, asking what is the purpose of this propaganda (who is behind it, where are they from), social media companies could immediately provide more access to researchers and support research to identify activity that may be a warning sign for violence (but they aren't), provide support and intervention by changing the algorithm or giving a "time-out" if too much is being viewed, users need to demand that social media companies participate in this research and prevention efforts, regulation of content and the danger of that, regulating the algorithm as an alternative, the problem with profits, think before you share (don't give disinformation a bigger voice/platform), sharing feeds the algorithm, check the source, the algorithm can't tell why you are sharing (that you like it or hate it) it only knows you are sharing it, train the algorithm for what you want to see.You can find Dr. Caroline Orr Bueno on Twitter, Instagram and Medium @RVAwonkEpisode recorded on 08/20/21Episode released on 09/22/21For more information on the podcast or its host, please visit sassylittlepodcast.com. A global project looking at the genomes of over 2 million people has found a number of distinct genetic markers which seem to either make Covid infection more likely or the symptoms more severe. Some of these markers are known to be associated with susceptibility to cancer and lung disease. However the researchers say on their own these genetic factors are not determinants of how sick people will become. Underlying health, age and sex and a range of environmental and social factors are likely more important says Andrea Ganna from Finland's Institute of Molecular Medicine who crunched the numbers. The Royal Society Summer Exhibition has just opened. And this year its an opportunity for more people to get involved than ever before – the event is taking place online. There are a number of workshops and interactive games. We speak to a couple of the participants. Caroline Orr from Teesside University talks about research using supercomputers to make microbes produce a range of biofuels that could replace petrol and diesel, and Tony Peyton from Manchester University tells us how the electromagnetic properties of materials are bring harnessed to improve mine clearance in former war zones. And we go to another exhibition, the Royal College of Art graduate show, and ask the age old question - is it art ? Students Kukbong Kim and Bahareh Saboktakin show us their work with recycled concrete and 3d printing - which looks more like science to us.
Join me as I discuss The Proud Boys and current terrorism legislation in Canada which targets them, with Dr. Caroline Orr and Jessica Davis.

A global disruption machine has been roaming the globe for some time now. Seeking political upheaval and piles of transitory revenue it's been rolling along without effective counter-measures. Until Canada. Familiar tactics and methodology have not yielded the same results to date. A level of political party collusion, be it temporary or strategic, has appeared in Canada like never before. Grievances have always existed between the Provinces and Ottawa but now they are being manufactured and sold as critical national issues. With only partisan aims. Your host will be happy to inform on this vector. The next common vector of systemic disruption involves corporate media masquerading as journalism. Opinion has always been a big part of ownership, to be tolerated. What's new is the misinformation, gaslighting, clickbaiting and blind political preference without shame. Behavioural scientist and independent journalist Caroline Orr joins us to look at Canada's post-truth mass media world. The most dangerous vector is ahead of the curve. They are the curve. Big Data owns the disruption game. Psychometrics, AI analytics, micro-targeting and stealth are remaking the landscape. Netwar Systems specializes in Big Data methods with regard to digital ecosystems. With insight, experience, skill and advanced tools, they have unlocked insights around political narratives in the US, Canada, UK, Belgium and Germany. Netwar Systems also identifies disinfo campaigns, botnets and other nefarious activities. They have found evidence of such in Canada. Neal Rauhauser and Jessalyn Hernandez join us to explain their findings and provide context about this situation. Finding demand for their services to decypher Big Data increasing, expansion is necessary. There is no dark money funding for Netwar Systems (see below) https://www.gofundme.com/f/data-for-democracy

In one comment, one of the agents suggested they throw a burrito at Representatives Veronica Escobar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez when they come to visit an El Paso area border Patrol facility. American intelligence services have unanimously concluded that the Russian government intervened in the 2016 U.S. elections, and seeks to meddle again. One of Russia’s methods is to use social media to distribute disinformation. What’s the big-picture strategy behind this style of attack, and how badly is it damaging our society and politics? Does disinformation have lasting effects on how voters engage with democracy? What vulnerabilities in American society did Russia exploit in its disinformation campaign? And how can the U.S. best fight back? Former FBI counterintelligence special agent and Yale senior lecturer Asha Rangappa, film producer and Russian Media Monitor founder Julia Davis, Virginia Commonwealth University behavioral scientist and media researcher Caroline Orr, and moderator Warren Olney host of KCRW’s “To the Point,” visited Zócalo to discuss the power and peril of weaponizing information, in a Zócalo/Japanese American National Museum Event, held at The National Center for the Preservation of Democracy in Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles.
Ep. 403 | Originally Aired: July 23, 2018 According to the Director of National Intelligence, Russia attacked American democracy in 2016, and the attacks continue to this day. The information the intelligence community used to draw that conclusion is classified—but guest, Caroline Orr uses an incredible array of open-source information and data analytics to produce a sophisticated understanding of the political warfare targeting the United States. Caroline Orr is a freelance journalist, researcher, and doctoral candidate in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her research interests include risk communication, behavior change theory, social influence and group behavior in digital environments, psychological models of online decision-making, health psychology, sexual assault and violence prevention, reproductive health, and psychosocial determinants of health and health disparities.
