We've all felt insecure about our looks at one point or another. Especially in our chronically online world where how you look can be your whole brand. So with plastic surgery rates on the rise, let's peel back the layers of this industry and see how information (and lies) about procedures spread and examine the real price of beauty.
Do you know why cats' eyes glow in the dark? It's because they have a special membrane called tapetum lucidum which reflects light. This membrane is located behind the retina and it makes their eyes shine in low light conditions. Cats are nocturnal animals, so this helps them see better at night by reflecting any available light back to their retinas. Evolution is a fascinating thing, isn't it? #catseyes #cats #cat #catlife #catlover #meow #catoftheday #catlovers #lovecats #kitty #catseye #blackcat #catsmeow #kitten #pets #world #catspam #mycat --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thekittyboss/message

This week, Kulap and SuChin are happy to be psychoanalyzing each other again. It sure is fun to speculate. Plus, after an unsettling incident at REI, Ku and Su talk about how much has changed for them with all the violence against AAPI people over the last two years. They talk about resources you can use as a bystander and ways to stay informed. Please note, Add To Cart contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.
