Welcome to episode #184 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, the EWC has come to an end, and we have our first World Cup Champion in Call of Duty! We break down each day of the event, the matches, and ultimately how the event came to a conclusion. There were some big upsets amongst the top 4 teams from CDL Champs, as well as some teams that made huge improvements to their game. We discuss how these moments may impact the next CDL season, with some potential roster changes coming up. Along with this, we share the news of the Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer mod being shut down by Activision. This came as a surprise to many, but unfortunately it is not unexpected from Activision's track history with mods to their games. We share our thoughts on this, and the possibility of any mods in the future. What did you think of the EWC event? The Stage 4 Major is over and FaZe are the champions yet again. Dallas kicked into a new gear in this major. Taking down OpTic twice in embarrassing fashion for the Greenwall, Dallas looked much improved. OpTic beat a stronger-looking Surge during their campaign, while Octane has made the claim that all teams should be permitted to attend CDL Champs. LAG has benched Chino for ex-Gears of War pro MentaL in a controversial fashion, as the boy's break down their pre-Stage 5 power rankings.
