La 12a edició dels Premis Guitart, celebrada dies enrere, ha tornat a reconèixer persones, empreses i entitats que destaquen per la seva contribució als àmbits del turisme, l'emprenedoria, la solidaritat, la cultura i la formació. Uns guardons que reten homenatge al llegat de l'empresari hoteler Climent Guitart i que posen el focus en iniciatives amb impacte al territori. Un dels projectes que més ha cridat l’atenció és el guanyador del guardó a l’emprenedoria. El premiat, Bravanariz, una empresa de perfumeria natural de l’Alt Empordà, ha desenvolupat el concepte d’ ‘osmoturisme‘, una proposta creativa que convida a descobrir els territoris a través de les aromes. El seu fundador, Ernesto Collado, explica que el premi representa el reconeixement a una idea que ha anat construint durant anys i que proposa «viatjar seguint el nas». Segons defensa, l’olfacte és una eina capaç de connectar les persones amb l’essència dels llocs, generar emocions i crear records duradors. Collado celebra que aquest sentit, tradicionalment relegat a un segon pla, comenci a ser valorat com una nova manera d’entendre l’experiència turística. «L’osmoturisme és una forma de viatjar de seguir el teu olfacte i crear records molt poderosos» Ernest Collado En l’àmbit de la solidaritat, el premi ha estat per a la Fundació Pioners del Nostre Temps, de l’Alt Empordà, distingida per la seva tasca en la conservació del medi ambient i la promoció de models de desenvolupament sostenibles. El president de l’entitat, Esteve Guerra, afirma que el reconeixement suposa una empenta per continuar treballant a la Vall de la Muga amb la construcció d’un model territorial sostenible. «Aquest projecte neix per resoldre una sèrie de necessitats que ens ha portat el canvi climàtic» Esteve Guerra Pel que fa a la música, el guardó ha distingit Gio Productions, coneguda com La GIO, una formació gironina que aposta per acostar la música clàssica a nous públics mitjançant experiències escèniques innovadores i projectes educatius i culturals. El director general de la formació, Jaume Sabaté, destaca que el premi reconeix una manera diferent d’entendre la música clàssica i la seva capacitat de generar impacte més enllà dels escenaris. Sabaté considera que la transformació cultural, el compromís social i la connexió amb el territori formen part tant de la filosofia de La GIO com dels valors que promouen els Premis Climent Guitart. «Treballem per transformar la música clàssica i connectar-la amb nous públics» Jaume Sabaté D’altra banda, el premi ‘Tres Pioners’ ha recaigut en la família Rigat, una de les nissagues hoteleres més històriques de Catalunya i estretament vinculada a Lloret a través del Hotel Rigat Park. El jurat ha volgut distingir tant la trajectòria de la família com el llegat de Filippo Rigat Tortorici dins del sector turístic. Felip Rigat assegura que el guardó té un valor especial perquè arriba en un moment en què la sisena generació familiar ja es prepara per assumir responsabilitats dins l’empresa. De fet, destaca que el futur del negoci passa pels seus fills, que actualment s’estan formant per continuar una història empresarial que s’acosta als 200 anys. Rigat considera que la distinció reconeix la feina desenvolupada des del 1955 a Lloret de Mar. «El nostre futur està en mans d’en Santi i l’Anna Rigat, que s’estan preparant en direcció d’hotels i en economia, i aviat començaran a substituir-nos» La gala també va servir per distingir el talent emergent del sector. El premi de Formació va recaure en Darina Pylyp, alumna amb la millor qualificació del cicle de Restauració i Càtering de l’Escola d’Hostaleria de Lloret de Mar. El reconeixement inclou una beca per continuar la seva formació al CETT de Barcelona. D’altra banda, el premi a la trajectòria va ser per a les germanes Sabina i Glòria Fluxà, al capdavant del grup Iberostar, en reconeixement a la seva aportació al sector turístic i al seu compromís amb la sostenibilitat.

La Fundació Climent Guitart va celebrar dijous la 12a edició dels Premis Climent Guitart, una gala marcada per l'emoció i el reconeixement a trajectòries i projectes destacats vinculats al turisme, la cultura, la sostenibilitat i la formació. La presidenta de la fundació, Cristina Cabanyas, explica que el premi 3 Pioners s'ha concedit a la família Rigat coincidint amb el 70è aniversari de l'Hotel Rigat de Lloret de Mar. “És una de les sagues d'hotelers amb més trajectòria de Catalunya, amb 200 anys d'història i amb poques sagues que arribin a aquesta fita”Cristina Cabañas La presidenta també va subratllar les aportacions històriques de la família Rigat al sector turístic català, especialment la seva vinculació amb l'estació d'esquí de La Molina i la consolidació de l'Hotel Rigat, ubicat a Fenals, com a establiment de referència de cinc estrelles a la Costa Brava. Els guardonats de la gala dels premis Climent Guitart del 2026. Pel que fa al premi a la trajectòria professional, el jurat va reconèixer les germanes Sabina i Glòria Fluxà, quarta generació vinculada al grup Iberostar. La gala també va distingir la jove ucraïnesa Darina Pylyp amb el premi de formació, valorant el seu esforç després d'arribar al territori arran de la guerra d'Ucraïna. Cal afegir que Laia Navarro, premiada l'any 2023, recentment ha format part de l'equip guanyador d'una competició internacional. El premi a l'emprenedoria va recaure en Bravanariz, un projecte innovador que combina l'olfacte i el turisme a través d'experiències sensorials i allotjaments temàtics. Els seus impulsors han desenvolupat el concepte d'osmoturisme,, una nova manera de viatjar amb l'olfacte com a eina d'exploració. Pel que fa a la solidaritat, el reconeixement va ser per a la fundació Pioneers of Our Time, dedicada a la conservació mediambiental i la regeneració del territori a la conca de la Muga. La gala també va premiar el projecte musical gironí Gio Productions, per la seva aposta innovadora per experiències musicals vinculades al territori, els quals van actuar al final de la gala.

We love the ambience of Sant Llorence de la Muga, a small village high in the Pyrenees. It's a beautifully peaceful place but we know the sound of the bells every quarter are not ideal for those wanting to spend time with the rain, the open peacefulness of mountainous quiet, and the occasional beeps of what we think are nocturnal frogs. So, this passage of time is from episode 281, adjusted.  With the chimes carefully spliced out, this piece of captured quiet runs from just before 3am to just after 4am. Heavy rain begins to fall and the sky grumbles with thunder. The rain then eases off allowing you to hear beyond the distant white noise of the nearby shallow river and deeper into the night landscape. You may hear to the right of scene one and sometimes more tiny beeps from time to time. We think these are frogs. The sounds are both soft and yet very distinguishable in the soundscape. And comforting too, for some curious reason.

Beside the only road leading out of Sant Llorenc de la Muga we found a small group of trees. We didn't have much time. The sky was pitch black and the ground beneath our feet was streaming with water that'd all come down a few minutes ago in a deluge with simultaneous flashes of forked lightening so powerful, so bright, they'd temporarily frozen us to the spot. We shone our torch from tree to tree, searching for a suitable trunk that might provide some shelter for the Lento box. The road was deserted. Traffic was not an issue. Only one more village lay beyond, where the road literally ended.      A patch of bare trunk came into view between rain soaked leaves. Around us every thing glistened. And dripped. Every shrub. Every branch. Every leaf.  To the eyes and to the ears it was a rich sparkling sensory experience, that seemed interchangeable. Reaching through we tied the Lento box onto the trunk, angled it onto the wide landscape scene, and left it to record alone through the night.  This segment of time was captured from just before 3am to just after 4am. Heavy rain falls and the sky periodically grumbles with thunder, but eventually it eases off. To the right of scene one and sometimes more tiny beeps can be heard from time to time. We aren't sure what creatures make these delicately fleeting sounds. Frogs perhaps, lizards, or insects? The sounds are both soft and yet very distinguishable in the soundscape, and comforting for some curious reason. The medieval clock on the church of Sant Llorenc strikes the quarters and the hours through the night. Ancient bells seem even more enchanting when heard in the dead of night, and through crystal clear rain.

Our friends told us that in Sant Llorenc the weather changes towards the end of August. Endless days of thick summer heat gives way to something altogether more dramatic. Ominous black clouds the size of cities. Rain drops like translucent grapes. Fork lightening like you see at the cinema. Thunder, that carves open the sky, like unimaginably huge boulders crashing downwards from the high mountain peaks.  We followed the river Muga out of Sant Llorenc, into the valley beyond. Our aim was to reach a reservoir which we thought may be a good place to leave the Lento box to make an overnight recording. Eventually, along rough tracks surrounded by dense trees and noisy cicadas, we reached the water. Our way however was blocked. Two white horses.  Impressive creatures. Standing astride the track. They had their backs towards us. We stopped, and watched, and kept our distance. Despite facing the other way the horses knew we were there. In low voices we shared ideas on what to do, whilst continuing to watch. Both stood firm. They were expressing only the smallest of movements through their tails.  Some time passed. It felt like they were communicating something to us. But what? The valley with all its assorted cicadas seemed, somehow, to have fallen silent. We decided not to try to pass them. Something perhaps in the way they moved their tails said turn back. So we turned back. Returning along the track we entered an area of the valley where the shallow river sounded unusually sonorous. The way the water tumbled over the rocks. the depth, and the particular arrangement of the trees. Just off the track a tree looked down into the gorge, so we tied the lento box to it. It was the perfect place for it to record. Perhaps, if we could have read the tails of the horses, this was what they were trying to say. Record back where you've come. Where it's sheltered. And where the river wrills. There's a storm. Coming.
