El equipo de Más de uno, con Robin Food a la cabeza, ha decidido visitar esta pedanía de Caravaca de la Cruz situada en la Sierra del Noroeste de Murcia. En su historia quedan huellas de presencia romana (vestigios en antiguas villas) y del paso musulmán, que dejó un sistema de regadíos que aún se utiliza con pocas variaciones. When it comes to cursed vocalists, US rock outfit Adema must have stood at the head of the queue.Since their inception in 2000, the band have seen four vocalists come and go - most at times where the band was starting to gain traction, which upset flow and momentum and ultimately held the band back from the musical heights they should have reached. After yet another forced vocalist change when Ryan Shuck departed in February last year, the band members decided to stay in-house with their next singer, promoting guitarist and regular back-up vocalist Tim Fluckey to the head role. This enabled Adema to stick with the core group of four members and maintain the chemistry they had built without having to usher in and train another band member.The international music industry must have been happy with the band's choice, with ILL NIÑO deciding to bring Adema to Australia as their national support for three select shows, starting in Sydney on September 12, before hitting Melbourne and Brisbane over consecutive nights.Fluckey joined HEAVY recently to talk shop, with one of our first questions being why have Adema neglected us here in Australia for so long?"Well, it's not on you guys," Fluckey laughed. "We had a tour that we were going to do in Australia maybe 23 years ago, and then something else came up that we had to do. I can't remember what it was, but we always thought we'll just reschedule, or we'll find a way to get back to Australia in the next couple of months, and it just never happened. So we've always wanted to go and couldn't be more excited about finally getting over there."Talk turns to Fluckey falling into the role of lead singer, and we ask if being a frontman is something he has always wanted to do."No, I did not always want to do that," he shook his head. "I didn't mind doing back-up vocals, that was cool. I liked just being over in my guitar world, and doing that, and being able to jump around and move around and interact with the crowd that way. And then it just came by necessity. One tour, our singer had… we couldn't find him for days. We had already missed a couple of shows, and we thought, are we going to get sued? So they're like, can you do it? And I said I'll try. So literally on the way out to the first show, we never rehearsed with me singing. I was just sitting there playing my guitar and trying to sing along to this stuff. We went out there, and said let's play three songs without saying a word and see what happens. La animación en volumen o animación fotograma a fotograma es una técnica de animación que consiste en aparentar el movimiento de objetos estáticos por medio de una serie de imágenes fijas sucesivas. A esto lo conocemos como stop motion y una de las pioneras en Chile en esta técnica de animación es Cecilia Toro, mejor conocida como Plastivida. Cecilia Toro es realizadora, productora y Directora de Arte de producciones animadas en stop motion, desde el año 2011. Ha participado en la producción de más de 10 series animadas en Chile, colaborando con otros estudios de animación y desde su propio estudio Plastivida, en donde se realizó el cortometraje animado en stop motion “Cantar con sentido, una biografía de Violeta Parra”, dirigido por Leonardo Beltrán, ganador del premio Pedro Sienna 2017 (Chile) y Quirino 2018 (Iberoamérica). Además desarrolla dirección de arte, animación e ilustración para editorial, publicidad, prensa y comunicación de la ciencia, especialmente para infancias. Ha realizado exposiciones de su obra en Casa Central Universidad Católica, Galería Plop, Centro Cultural La Moneda, Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral y Biblioteca Nacional de Chile. Es docente de la asignatura animación Stop Motion y de tutorías de proyectos en la Universidad de las Américas y Balmaceda Arte Joven. Es directora del Festival de Animación Noche de Monos. Fue la productora general del premiado cortometraje animado en stop motion “Bestia”, dirigido por Hugo Covarrubias, nominado a los Premios Oscar 2022. Autora de la Novela Gráfica “Calfucoy con la tierra en los pies”(Editorial Ocholibros, 2022) una fotonovela gráfica que ha sido ganadora del Premio Mejor Edición Infancias de la Cámara Chilena del Libro 2022 y Mejor Novela Gráfica por el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio 2023. En estos momentos, junto a la productora de cine Lanza Verde y el estudio de animación Niño Viejo, se encuentra preparando el desarrollo de un largometraje animado en stop motion. Volgens demissionair landbouwminister Adema past dit type landbouw niet meer bij Nederland, maar de realiteit is dat het aantal stallen met grote aantallen dieren alleen maar toeneemt en ironisch genoeg heeft dat juist te maken met aangescherpte natuur-eisen. ¿Sabes? En pocos días se celebra el Día de la Madre en España. Este día lo celebro con mi familia, en especial con mi madre, cuyo nombre es María Nuria. Vamos a hablar de este día ¿Qué opinas? El Día de la Madre es un día muy bonito en el que rendimos homenaje a nuestras madres, y les agradecemos todo lo que han hecho por nosotros. Primero, hablemos de la fecha en la que se celebra el Día de la Madre en España. A diferencia de otros países, en España se celebra el primer domingo de mayo. La fecha varía de un año a otro, pero siempre cae en el mes de mayo, un mes que en España está lleno de flores y buen tiempo. Al final, lo más importante no es la fecha en sí, sino el significado y cómo celebrarlo. ¿Qué hacen los españoles en este día especial? Bueno, hay muchas formas de celebrar el Día de la Madre en España, pero aquí te cuento algunas de las más populares. Regalos: Los hijos suelen hacer regalos a sus madres en este día. Creo que el regalo más habitual son las flores, aunque hay otros regalos muy comunes: chocolates, joyas, perfumes, ropa y objetos de decoración. También es popular hacer regalos hechos a mano, como tarjetas o manualidades, especialmente si los hijos son pequeños. A veces esto se hace en la escuela. Comida en familia: Es típico en España reunirse en familia para disfrutar de una comida juntos. Puede ser al mediodía o por la noche, aunque normalmente es al mediodía. Muchas veces los hijos cocinan para sus madres, para que ellas puedan descansar y disfrutar de la comida. A veces simplemente se va a un restaurante o se encarga comida a domicilio. Es decir, llamas a un restaurante y te traen la comida. Salir a pasear: El buen tiempo de mayo hace que sea una época ideal para salir a dar un paseo con la familia. Muchos españoles aprovechan el Día de la Madre para disfrutar del aire libre, visitar parques, hacer un pícnic, o también ir a una terraza a tomar una cerveza. Además de las celebraciones familiares, en algunas ciudades de España hay eventos especiales para conmemorar el Día de la Madre. Por ejemplo, en Madrid, la capital del país, se organiza la Carrera de la Mujer, una carrera popular en la que participan miles de mujeres. Es importante estar en forma. De politicus van de week was Piet Adema, die had opnieuw slecht nieuws voor de boeren. Hield de minister van Landbouw dat slechte nieuws een paar weken voor zichzelf? Het was in ieder geval een rare gang van zaken en Adema verloor het vertrouwen van een aantal partijen.   Verder gaat de steun aan Oekraïne steeds een stapje verder. Nederland wil én gaat meedoen aan het leveren van tanks. Ook al hebben we zelf geen tanks meer na eerdere bezuinigingen op Defensie. De Tweede Kamer debatteerde ook nog over de excuses voor het Slavernijverleden, die het kabinet eind vorig jaar uitsprak. Leverde dat nog iets op?  En in de wandelgangen namen Joost en Xander een kijkje bij de VVD. Die partij bestond deze week 75 jaar. Hoe vinden huidige Kamerleden dat het gaat met hun partij op leeftijd? Kan dit oudje nog wel mee met alle ontwikkelingen in de moderne tijd?

Maar Joost laat hem niet zomaar passeren. Hij heeft deze week een opname toegestuurd gekregen, gaat die nog verschil maken? My guest today is David Gnozzi a platinum mixing/mastering engineer and producer, as well as the creator and host of the popular YouTube channel MixbusTV and a Pro Mix Academy Tutor. David is a former professional musician with 2 albums published (Universal Records and Danse Macabre Records), and he has been recording and mixing for almost 20 years, he fully dedicated himself to recording, mix and mastering after ending his career as musician in 2010. David initially started to gain recognition as a mixing engineer after successful remixes for Ladytron and Felix Da Housecat. He mixed various projects for Universal Records, Nettwerk Records and Virgin Radio and video games such as Fallout 4 and Rock Band 3. In 2017, David worked with one of France's most famous and influential hip hop artists of all times, MC Solaar, mixing the multiplatinum album Geopoetique. The release also went on to win “album of the year” at the French Music Awards. In 2014 he started the now popular Youtube channel MixbusTv, which became one of the most trusted and respected online resources for audio mix and mastering. David does “how to” video tutorials for the studio. And with an ever expanding list of partners like AMS Neve, SSL, Empirical Labs, and many more, he's known for his detailed and very technical reviews of pro audio hardware and software.
