Why listen to a bad podcast about the good Dungeons & Dragons movie (2023) when you could listen to a good podcast about the bad Dungeons & Dragons movie (2000)? Hosts Emily Fleming and Jordan Morris invite special guest Travis McElroy (My Brother, My Brother and Me) to talk about this wonderfully terrible film. Please pre-order "Youth Group" on Booksoup and get a signed and personalized message from Jordan Morris! Please keep it PG-13 but feel free to make it weird! DIRECTIONS: When you are purchasing it on Booksoup, at the end of the shopping cart page you can write what you want Jordan to say in the section that says “Use this area for special instructions or questions regarding your order."

This episode of Depresh Mode with John Moe came about as part of a challenge to our listeners: if we reached our member goal during the last Max Fun Drive, we'd make and release an episode with Justin McElroy. We hit the goal, here it is. Of course, making that goal can be and was a pretty nervous-making enterprise. There's more than a bit of anxiety involved. Appropriately to that proposition, anxiety is something our guest knows well. Justin is one of three McElroy brothers hosting the comedy advice podcast, My Brother, My Brother, and Me, a long-running hit here on Maximum Fun. He's also a person who has struggled with an anxiety disorder for a long time. He talks about the disorder flaring up especially fiercely during times of great stress in his life, including during his wife's pregnancy, and not so stressful times, such as simply trying to gather quotes as a newspaper reporter.Listen to My Brother, My Brother, and Me, Sawbones, The Adventure Zone, and all things McElroy on the podcatcher of your choice. We attempt to play October with a new friend, but instead play with some weird rules.
Cole is back and we really put a lot of thought into this difficult, faded-ridden month. But things never go as planned, when you're being betrayed at every turn.
September is off to a rough start because we're missing a player, but an unexpected turn gives us the ability to win quickly.
We are finally back! We introduce a new character and name all our diseases.
In our last episode of 2019, it doesn't look like we're going to save the world. It keeps getting worse.
Our second game in June seems to go much smoother, and we're not really sure how.
June brings more funded events and more hopes to helping save the world.
May continues to destroy us. Have we doomed the world?
In this special cross-over with Role Play Roulette, we try out a new tabletop game, just in time for Halloween!
May is a little bit rough for us.
Here we go again, trying to save the world! Something something something rules.
Nobody really knows what's going on, any more.
We attempt to play the game by the rules, this time!
In episode 2 we totally forget the most important component of a Legacy game: the Legacy deck!
Season 2 begins with Pandemic Legacy Season 1!
While Cole goes on a date, the rest of MiMS tried to take over the court of the city-state of Tempest!
A bonus episode to introduce you to Monster in My Stomach's newest podcast: RPG Roulette!
Mad King Ludwig was a crazy castle builder. Will our castles match his insanit?
Whitney, Cole, Mike and Daniel all play Ticket to Ride New York in the first of our bonus episodes!
The MiMs Crew answers your pressing questions!
The MiMS Crew is back! This time, we play through a round of Betrayal Legacy without the Legacy part!
We don't have an episode this week! But e-mail us monsterinmystomach@gmail.com or tweet @monsterinmysto1 and send us some questions!
For the final time, the MiMS crew reappear at the house on the hill to break the curse upon their families. Will they succeed in destroying HIM?
We're taking on the questions of Yahoo answers, and giving our best advice, in this episode of The Cover Up with Kyle Neufeld. Category by category, we take questions from the internet and do our best to answer. This episode is very loosely based off the podcast "My Brother My Brother and Me", and I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it! The end song is an original by Kyle Neufeld, of fond memories of trying to get my brother in trouble and arguing about who started it.
In the Summer of Love, 1969, our crew encounters something out of this world!
MiMS shows up at a run-down in in 1947 and discovers that nothing is what it seems. But is it ever what we expect? See how we predict everything!
The "roaring" 20s certainly live up to their name. Contains Game of Thrones Spoilers.
In the second part of Chapter 9 of Betrayal Legacy, we experience the Haunt of the Insane Asylum.
The crew of MiMS is locked outside of an insane asylum at the turn of the century. Something strange is happening below what used to be the house, but will they be sane enough to figure out what it is?
A strange twist sends our heros into deep betrayal mode faster than they ever expected. Will they survive a trip to hell?
The end of Chapter 7 of Betrayal Legacy! Who really killed the bride?
In the first of our two-part adventure, the crew of MiMS explore the house only to discover that their true love has died.
Betrayal with Benefits is taking a break this week, so check out the newest podcast from Monster in My Stomach productions!
The Monster in My Stomach Crew returns, minus one dear friend, to find out the house has been hiding far more than they'd originally thought.
Cole, Whitney, Daniel, Mike and Gabi have found their way to the house during the Autumnal Equinox. Will the haunt start before the exploration even begins?
A horrible tragedy has brought the families back to the house, but the person accused of the incident might not be as guilty as they seem.
It's just a few short years before the American Revolutionary War and our five families gather again at the house on the hill to (hopefully) find Lin-Manuel Miranda's Alexander Hamilton hiding in the shadows. Unfortunately, that is not to be their fate. www.monsterinmystomach.com
Gabi, Daniel, Whitney and Mike get together to try out the first horrific chapter of the board game Betrayal Legacy. www.monsterinmystomach.com
Cole is back! With him Whitney, Gabi, Mike and Daniel take on another generation to explore the haunted house on the hill. www.monsterinmystomach.com

After we celebrate Parris' 20 year wedding anniversary, we share our thoughts on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and recommend some of our favorite podcasts from this year. You know, something positive to try to balance out how 2016 has ended. Happy Holidays!
Like Mister Mxyzptlk, Owen makes his 40-episode return to mix up the rules of The Echo Chamber reality. It's now... an advice show for the modern era! Topics include: Reddit hates Mystakin, love spells, parkour, fricky frackling in public, The Big G, and more!
Rum Doings episode 94 begins with quite the clanger! John's freshly appointed wife reveals she is carrying Nick's lovechild. (Also, we can't count and thought this would go out after the New Year.) Which is only appropriate, since this pre-recorded episode (as opposed to those we perform live in your ears) contains our offering advice to our listeners. Our rubbish, rubbish listeners. John has recently discovered the splendid podcast, My Brother My Brother And Me, and as is always the way of the great artistic minds, wanted to copy it for one week. Incorrectly stating that they no longer take questions from listeners, thus attempting to fill a gap that's already filled just fine, we begin by suggesting meeting women at refuge shelters. We are keeping it classy. How to deal with loose skin, survive a mortgage, fake your own death (and indeed get away with your own murder), things to do in the bath, how to marry cats and dogs, and then we move on to just being horrible racists as usual. We consider how much better life is if you don't live as if you're constantly about to be burgled or stolen from, and much discussion of wee. We then get a weeny bit more serious and address a final question on social anxiety disorder, with some genuinely sensible advice. And don't take our insults too personally - we love you all, even though you're all so rubbish.
