- Kläre: Was will ich wirklich erreichen? Und: Was will ich NICHT auslösen?

Megan has a long history of working at the cutting edge of leadership development and marks a departure from the usual guest on this podcast. She is a deep thinker and researcher around how leaders need to behave in what she calls a ‘pathologically busy' workplace. This interview explores how our society has an over focus on the short-term, the to do list which leads to rampant busyness. This is not the role of a leader who needs to be able to step back and have perspective. Megan shares how reflective practices and wise attention will help us become the leaders we want to be. A powerful episode with lots of evidence. Learn about the transformative impact of quieting down for effective leadership. Unlock new possibilities for leadership growth and fulfillment. About Diana Van Buren: Growing up as an expat, Diane enjoyed exploring spectacular places while immersing in diverse cultures. Her background of world travels provided firsthand experiences of world treasures. Living in Tripoli, Libya from age ten, a military coup bestowed the unexpected benefit of attending high school three years on her own in Rome, Italy. In Rome, Diane began studies in art history, architecture, sculpture and urban design. After living in Sumatra, Indonesia, she attended the University of Texas and graduated with a Bachelor's of Architecture. Diane married her university sweetheart in Sumatra and moved to New York City. After three years there, she moved again to Dallas, Texas, her current place of residence. While Diane earned award-winning success in her architecture career, her dissatisfaction reached a tipping point: her success didn't bring the happiness she desired. She was restless, adrift and yearned to regain direction to maximize her talents. Something deep within was calling her to more, and she didn't see where she could fit in. The problem she faced was how to live up to her life experiences and share her gifts with the world. Reinventing herself took stamina, focus and discipline. Along the way, Diane earned a Master of Liberal Studies, writing about piazzas as theater. Diane's faith carried her through periods of self-doubt, loneliness and a marital rift - happily repaired. Following her heart, Diane sculpted the role for herself that didn't exist before. Since then, Diane offers programs and retreats to claim fulfilling joy that eludes those who settle, conform and deprioritize their growth to make others comfortable. Her personal life experiences, professional training and studies led her to write Enlightened Rome: Discover the Magic of Piazzas and Public Spaces in Rome, Italy. Diane passion for cities public spaces, award-winning design, photography, and sculpture feature in presentations, coached programs, and immersive retreats. Utilizing the transformational power of place, Diane's clients step into their greatness as they walk with the greats, experiencing world treasures. Extraordinarily fulfilling living comes with spiritual connection in the arts. Women who open to their Inner Artist design their Wild Happiness so they can thrive all their life. Diane's coaching empowers women leaders to evolve their leadership. Developing their authentic expression, they hone evolving Leadership, Legacy, Life and Love. Did you know that confidence predicts success much more than competence? Today, there is a particular crisis for women—a crisis of confidence, which can hinder your success. In fact, there is a vast confidence gap that separates the sexes. Compared with men, women don't consider themselves worthy of promotions, they predict they'll do worse on tests, and they generally underestimate their abilities. A growing body of evidence shows just how devastating this lack of confidence can be. Women don't feel qualified for advancement opportunities and they hold back on seeking advancement options. Women feel confident only when they are perfect. Or practically perfect. The good news is that with work, confidence can be acquired. Which means that the confidence gap, in turn, can be closed. To talk with us today about how to “Create Confidence for Next Level Leadership” is Heather Monahan, a best-selling author and a TedX and keynote speaker focused on helping leaders create confidence and leapfrog their villains!
On this episode, the guys revisit the importance of culture, by recapping the interview with Ginger Hardage, as well as discussing the benefits of good culture.
