If you're not in Copenhagen for fashion week, here's your (virtual) ticket :)Last week, we talked to Ane from Alpha about studying fashion in the Nordics and how to make it as an artistic designer.Over the next three episodes, we've got interviews with some of the most exciting names to watch from the region.First up is Alectra Rothschild, whose show for her Masculina label was one of the most anticipated, thanks to last season's electric on-schedule debut.Vogue noted it was "probably history-making' - because Alectra was the first openly trans woman to show at Copenhagen, and because of the her iconic community casting. Listen out in this chat for the part about what a positive force that representation has been - she gets so many messages from fans around the world saying they feel seen. And want to place orders.Another big theme in this interview is sustainable business models, and what works when you're a small designer. How do you scale? Do you want to? Do you even try? Maybe you plan to go and work for an established house instead? Or, is there a way to stay independent, cater to your community and keep things bespoke? For Alectra (who trained as a tailor, worked at Mugler and did her MA at Central St Martins in London), it's about seeing herself as a "designer, but also maker, artist and costume designer" and focusing - for now at least - on commissioned pieces.Ask her to sum up her clothes and she says, “flamboyant, high femme, and quite shameless”. She's done with being put in a box and categorised - we contain multitudes. Above all she wants to enjoy herself. She makes clothes for night life. Her runways are a party, calling to mind the 1980s when the most exciting fashion scene was DIY, driven by club culture and community. Good times ahead. Can you help us spread the word ?Wardrobe Crisis is an independent production. This episode is a perfume special that features scents from Phlur, Charlotte Tilbury, Fine'ry - all new to me - plus one very special scent that's been my go-to for years. Fragrance can evoke a memory or a mood in an instant and in that sense it's really powerful, so in this episode I discuss embracing a scent wardrobe, rather than sticking with one 'signature scent' for life. I'd love to know your favourite perfumes right now, so feel free to get in touch over in the DMs on Instagram @beautymepodcast or comment over on Threads @charisse_kenion.

Inge Onsea is a total embodiment of joie de vivre which makes her the perfect guest during The Most wonderful time of the year. As the co-founder and creative director of global brand ESSENTIEL ANTWERP Inge has lived quite the rollercoaster of a life. A self-described "woman without a plan" Inge's career flowed from gigs as a background singer to magician's assistant to ‘mannequin de cabine' for big names like MUGLER and Max Mara before founding her own label in 1999 with her business partner and father of her children Esfan Eghtessadi. As she and Dominique sit down for a long conversation, Inge describes the road from starting out designing a few T-shirts to growing a global brand with 165 employees, 30+ flagship stores (from London to Paris to Seoul to New York) and 780 salespoints worldwide including Neiman Marcus and Anthropologie – while still remaining independent. Inge also has no qualms talking about the beautiful chaos that is her private life and how her travels and home contribute to living an unapologetic life. This episode of The Most is brought to you by MAISON NOILLY PRAT, the original vermouth crafted by the sea in the South of France. Enjoy responsibly. Happy Holidays! Welcome to Chain Reaction. A show that unpacks and dives deep into the latest trends, drama and news with some of the biggest names in crypto breaking things down block by block for the crypto curious. For this week's episode, Jacquelyn interviewed Patrick Kaminski, the director of digital innovation for web3 and metaverse at L'Oreal, and Manon Cardiel, head of strategic planning and partnerships within web3 and metaverse at L'Oreal. Patrick is the leader behind NYX Professional Makeup's GORJS DAO, which launched in mid-January with hopes of combining the NFT world and the beauty industry in the metaverse. While Manon worked on the GORJS project, she also helped launch NFT collections for companies like Mugler and Yves Saint Laurent. L'Oreal is best known for its beauty products, but the over 100 year old company is also home to a plethora of brands that many of us use and own like Maybelline, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Kiehls, Valentino, Prada, CeraVe and more. We discussed why L'Oreal wanted to get into the web3 ecosystem, what it's like incorporating a DAO into a traditional brand and how other brands and companies are – or aren't – getting into the cryptosphere. We also dove into: Growing brand loyalty Consumer demand and feedbackBrands skepticism of NFTs, metaverse Advice to brands looking to get into web3Chain Reaction comes out every other Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET, so be sure to subscribe to us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or your favorite pod platform to keep up with the action.
