Mississippi State heads home from the SEC Tournament having done the necessary business of a 21st win to solidify NCAA Tournament selection. Center Tolu Smith is both All-SEC and the Mississippi collegiate Player of the Year. The Bulldogs will find out Sunday if they play the Tuesday pre-tourney round of 68, or advance directly to the field of 64. Spring football began for first-year Coach Zach Arnett and staff and while a new coaching regime always has a team working harder this Bulldog spring roster has some extra pep in their steps. Arnett and offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay have scripted a daily regimen that keeps everyone working and getting some sort of rep all the working day and without wasting time. It was just a two-day opening week and the Bulldogs won't practice again until March 21 after the spring break interruption.

Versus personality is more of how you portray yourself or live out your identities, it's how you behave, not always who you are. So when we label this, one of the easiest ways I've looked at this is identity is who you are, personality is what type of person you are or how you show yourself to the world. This is an important distinction to make because a lot of who we currently think we are, is just learned behavior." Frustrations for Bulldog basketball continue with another hard-played loss, this time at #2 Alabama. They host TCU this Saturday for the SEC-BigXII clash. Coach Zach Arnett has added impressive portal players to his quarterback and receiver rooms, and continues a Mississippi State trend of bringing in FBS and SEC transfers for 2023. The finalized football field and support staff is full-speed recruiting for 2024 as well. With prices for 2023 season tickets announced this week, thoughts turn to when will the SEC announce both the 2024 schedule as well as new rotations in a non-division format to fit in Texas and Oklahoma? And Bulldog baseball hosts media tomorrow to talk the upcoming season with first pitch now three weeks away.
Mississippi State finalized its offensive staff on Friday, and almost immediately was able to land a couple of priority targets in the transfer portal. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss who made the decision to be a Bulldog, and what the new look Arnett staff will be able to do.
Mississippi State has yet to announce all official hires, but head coach Zach Arnett has a full staff recruiting full-speed both during the just closed NCAA winter portal window and ahead of the May 1-15 period. Five transfers are part of the 15 new spring enrollees, all defensive backs or specialists. More offensive personnel can be sought for the May window. The revised staff is headlined by offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay who will adjust the system for a veteran lineup. A real emphasis on recruiting the state of Mississippi is obvious in both the on- and off-field staff.

Zach Arnett had to jump into the deep end when he took the head coaching job at Mississippi State, and in a sink or swim situation, the new Bulldog head man seems to be thriving. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk are back to discuss why last week showed a lot of green flags when it comes to the beginning of the Arnett Era in Starkville.
Mississippi State said thank you and farewell to Mike Leach this week, while new head coach Zach Arnett completed an early recruiting class. It is a good class for any signing season but especially remarkable for this December's circumstances. Arnett's first press conference was to discuss signing day as well as his own promotion to head coach. Arnett will continue evaluating prospects for further signings to his first Bulldog roster. Reliaquest Bowl campus practices end Friday and resume in Tampa on Tuesday. After their first loss of the season Bulldog basketball is off until hosting Alabama next week to open SEC play.
Consider this premise. Angels are among us and God has sent them on a mission to intercede on behalf of whispered prayers. Every encounter presents a new opportunity to change your approach to life. If we are all honest, everyone has considered the notion from time to time that there are no chance meetings or coincidences in life. Perhaps it is the friend who has an expertise in a certain area who has offered to help you with a very specific problem without being asked. Or maybe, you have been praying desperately for a serious situation to resolve itself when the solution suddenly reveals itself out of the blue. Or was it out of the blue? There's a lesson for everyone in the new Pure Flix television series “Saved by Grace", a program that explores different seasons of life and how our reactions and actions can ultimately change the path we are on. Our guest today, Cameron Arnett, is the star of “Saved by Grace", and believes that we can heal from and overcome the past and that change in our hearts makes it possible to move forward. He knows this first hand as he has encountered similar circumstances in his life where it was very clear that God's providence had a hand in the outcome. In fact, he is a strong believer that day to day interactions can have a great impact on us, even if we don't realize it.Arnett joins us on the Crossmap Podcast to talk about the concept of there being no chance meetings or coincidences in life. Mississippi State football has a new head coach. The circumstances are certainly unprecedented, but Zach Arnett has no time to waste with Signing Day coming up and a bowl game to prepare for. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss the opening moves that will define Arnett's first year as the top Bulldog.
Mississippi State University and its president Dr. Mark Keenum decided a bird in hand was indeed more valuable than two in the bush, as reports surfaced and were confirmed that there would be no national search for a replacement for Mike Leach. Instead, the man who has led the Bulldog defense the last three seasons, Zach Arnett, would be climbing into the big chair as head coach. Brian Hadad discusses that move, then he and Robbie Faulk talk recruiting and much more.

On this episode two distinguished experts, NATHAN LEWIS and DICK BOVE, lay out the case for the control of profligate spending and the easy money policies of the US Federal Reserve. This spending, in the form of trillions of dollars in "quantitative easing" by the Fed and massive stimulus programs and outlays by the government, has fueled runaway inflation. It also risks the collapse of the US dollar. NATHAN LEWIS, an internationally renowned expert on money and taxes, is the co-author of the Inflation: What It Is, Why It's Bad, and How to Fix It. The book explains what's behind the worst inflationary storm in more than forty years—one that is dominating the headlines and shaking Americans by their pocketbooks. The cost-of-living explosion since the COVID pandemic has raised alarms about a possible return of a 1970's-style “Great Inflation.” Some observers even fear a descent into the kind of Weimar-style hyperinflation that has torn apart so many nations. Is this true? If so, what should be done? How should we prepare for the future? According to the publisher Inflation answers these and other questions in an engaging discussion that draws on the singular expertise of Steve Forbes, chairman of Forbes Media, acclaimed for his insights on money and the economy; Nathan Lewis, internationally renowned expert on money and taxation; and author and journalist Elizabeth Ames.
