POPULARITY
Over the last few weeks, we've been chatting all about how we can bridge high quality reading instruction to strengthen our students' writing. I hope this juicy past episode gives you some ideas on how to motivate and engage your young writers, and provides a frame of reference as we start to get into some higher order thinking strategies over the next few weeks.
On this national day of Thanksgiving, Logan and Dustin reunite to consume a feast of beers in the form of Surly's Mixed Messages Variety Pack. They also watch the 2012 Halle Berry vehicle Dark Tide and have zero fun doing it. However, they do have fun goofing around as usual and even cover some Shark News! Have a safe and happy Sharksgiving, y'all!
The boys are back and they're rambling more than ever! Dustin and Logan kickoff the week with an in-depth beer discussion on Backpocket Brewing's Hawktoberfest and then dip into some SHARK NEWS! Then, they regrettably watch Sharknado and do an extensive deep dive into the company that produced Sharknado, ripoff artists, The Asylum.

Tuesday is full of news... some serious, lots of it CRAZY. Angie and Mike had a lot of fun with the headlines today.
We normally try and stay away from current affairs and topics but sometimes it just can't be helped. Scott and Sean sit down with new co-host Chris, recording from Boston. Together we talk about us rising to power, the Royal freaking Wedding, beers, the Return of Shark News, other animal attacks, 2 Darwin/Nashcast award nominees and a game of 1-True-3. Scott tells 3 stories to the guys but only 1 is true, can they investigate and establish the truth??? If you want us to discuss anything let us know at nashcastpod@gmail.com or twitter @nashcastpod
