Some people say seven is a lucky number. I'm not sure where that comes from, but I'd say this was a pretty lucky year for us. We talked about your suggested games in Fanbruary, found our true niche with hit theme month Ape-ril, and were actually able to talk about a FROM Software game while it was still in the zeitgeist. We also won the lottery, the NOCLIP Awards finally got onto Spike TV to replace their terrible awards show and the film adaptation of the Super Mario Cereal episode is entering the final stages of production. Okay, half of that is accurate, but we are very happy with the direction the podcast is headed as far as our content goes. This year featured a huge number of really interesting games both new and old, and we unironically think Fanbruary was a great success. Your suggestions have made up an increasingly large number of the games we talk about, and it's upped the variety and generally rounded out our experience with games overall. So, as NOCLIP Day comes and goes, as it does every year, we reflect on the impact these games made on us, good, bad and sometimes stupid, with this bloopers episode. We've got TV show pitches, impromptu song parodies, and our usual technical issues, so if that sounds enjoyable to you, then today is the best day of the year on our podcast. We're in the month of horror, so the upcoming few episodes will be on some scary games, but as always, I hope this serves as some comic relief and we hope to see you again next year!
Jason is here with his take on three food adventures he and his stomach recently went on. Hear the banal terror that is Super Mario Cereal! Bask in the Mexican-spiced goodness that is Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries! And fear the undercooked breaded nightmare of Lidl’s Chicken Wings! Also, Steve is here to make fun of him the whole time. NOCLIP Podcast, find it in your grocer's freezer! From deep in the bowls of the Internet, we're going to be talking about Super Mario Cereal today. When this promotional cereal released, it was met with continental amusement, seemingly because of the inherent ridiculousness of it. But, rather than be spoon-fed opinions on it, we decided to pour up and try it for ourselves. Join us to find out if our favorite Nintendo hero has made the switch from plumbin' to bakin' or if his breakfast effort is another milquetoast effort on the shelves of your grocery store. Thanks for joining us for this admittedly kind of silly tangent this week, and we'll be back again next time to talk about Hollow Knight!
We start off the second century of the cast with the return of Foodie205 cast featuring Super Mario Cereal, and answer some of our left-over trivia questions from our episode 100 livestream. Also, in actual video game news, The Witcher himself, Geralt will be in Soulcalibur 6!

Edit: This didn't make the cut for the show, but … Breakfast cereals are certainly no stranger to advertising schemes targeted at children. So, when Nintendo announced Super Mario Cereal last year, we were all naturally very excited to stock our pantry, but not necessarily surprised at the concept (especially because they'd done this before). When Nintendo starts making craft tape designed to be used on your ripping, aging Labo, we were a little more surprised but, admittedly, equally excited. Next, I suppose we'll all be preordering Nintendo Table Saw, for when Labo 2 comes out and we're all just literally building sheds in our backyard. On today's show, the fam spends a little time talking about some notable gaming headlines from the week. We follow that up by asking the group if we think that current generation consoles (Xbox One, PS4) are starting to feel old. It seems we're (perhaps quite) a ways away from the next round of consoles, regardless; but what do you think? Afterward, we decide we're not ready to part ways and play a single round of 19Q Magoo (Questions listed below) before diving into the requisite beatdown. Thanks for listening and enjoy the show.
We were finally able to get our hands on a box of the Super Mario Cereal, so it was the perfect time to team-up with the Saturday Morning Tooncast! First, we talk about the Nintendo Labo announcement and what it could mean for the Nintendo Switch. Then, we switch formats with our guest Jeremy to...

In an episode filled with innuendo and hilarity, the guys have fun discussing a new organic material that generates its own electricity, Nintendo continues to win the current gaming system wars with a console that is JUUUUST good enough and then they come up with an amiibo based cereal that you can both eat and use to unlock bonuses in game. The episode wraps with some great movie news including the Hellboy Reboot with David Harbour and of course the new Avengers : Infinity War trailer drops and the world rejoiced! We dare you not to laugh during this one! Hey look! Microsoft brought the Edge browser to iOS and Android. Is this a worthwhile addition to your mobile device or just another place for more people to ignore the successor to the Internet Explorer? RIP 2011 Mac Mini Apple has made it official. They've deemed the 2011 Mac Mini to be “Obsolete”. Though the Mac Mini is still listed on the product road map for the future, things aren't looking good for those Mac Mini fans. New organic material that generates electricity So those silly scientists are at it again, this time it's Swiss Scientists from EMPA, that have created a new organic material that generates it's own electricity when stretched and compressed. This is fueling speculation on it's possible medical uses but also concern over if we are seeing a natural transition for humans becoming cyborgs. The Switch, good enough equals winning With subpar graphics and lesser tech than it's biggest rivals from Sony and Microsoft, is the Nintendo Switch winning by being just good enough? #PowerFur Nintendo ups the lootbox game with real world upgrades So in a truly “Are you for real?” move, Nintendo is announcing a new cereal that looks an awful lot like Lucky Charms. It's called simply “Super Mario Cereal” and hits shelves Dec. 11th. But what's crazy is that the box the cereal comes in is NFC enabled and if Switch/Super Mario Odessey players tap the cereal box on their console it will unlock some minor loot in game, like extra coins or hearts. Marvel Studio's Avengers : Infinity War Official Trailer Drops...Jaws Around the World. Let's be honest, this looks incredibly insane. So good but could be almost too much to take in with ALL of those heroes on screen. But three things stand out in this trailer. #1) Chris Pratt's `Stache is killing it at the end of the trailer, #2) Cap's beard is being talked about a crazy amount all over the internet so it seems it should be called Avengers: Facial Hair War instead. #3) Adam makes a good point, #whereisHawkeye?
