There are 14.1m disabled people in the UK and yet the nation's largest minority is woefully underrepresented in the TV industry. Two landmark reports are about to be unveiled urging the sector to access the “untapped potential” of this group, talented people like Deaf and Disabled People in TV (DDPTV) founder Caroline O'Neill and Tim Renkow, the creator of BBC3 hit comedy Jerk.  Caroline spoke to Max Goldbart last week about DDPTV's Disability by Design report, which shows the distressing levels of discrimination and ableism faced by TV's disabled community and issues a wealth of recommendations for how this can be overcome. And later, Tim chats exclusively to Hannah Bowler about the second season of Roughcut TV's comedy and opportunities for disabled people both locally and across the pond. Tim reveals to BBC Ouch how much truth was behind the sitcom, how he got The Soprano's actress Lorraine Bracco to play his mother and what it was like to have a fist-fight with fellow comedian and Britain's Got Talent winner, Lost Voice Guy, who also has cerebral palsy. Shoes - it’s a hot topic amongst disabled people. Buying them and wearing them can be a nightmare, especially if it means regularly wearing them out. Throughout the ages, shoes have been either practical or decorative but rarely both and we in the disabled community often have to adapt what’s on offer to suit our needs. So, why do so many of us have to pick function over fashion – and does having that choice really matter? BBC Ouch chats all things shoes to lifestyle and fashion YouTuber, Jessica Kellgren-Fozard, whose vintage style and taste for high heels often raises eyebrows in the context of her disabilities. Actor and comedian Tim Renkow also joins us in the studio. He has Cerebral Palsy but doesn’t wear shoes because, he says, they’re just not worth the hassle. Presented by Niamh Hughes with Beth Rose.

After an interrupted start with Copstick in camp in Kenya, back to our normal disjointed style - on the decline of British comedy clubs, the collapse of the Invisible Dot and Chatty Man Alan Carr; the rise of Ivan Brackenbury and Bill Bailey. Plus the Centre for Comedy Studies Research, a threat to break Tim Renkow’s legs, Stephen Bailey rejected by the BBC for being ‘working class’ and the annoying failed Referendum Remainers who moan endlessly but do nothing.
