'THE F***** POTATO HEAD..' - EDDIE HEARN RIPS INTO 'DISGRACE' DANA WHITE ON UK SHOW, ASPINALL & BENN
In this sermon, we are invited to move past the mathematical impossibility of the Trinity and instead step directly into its dance. By exploring how language forms our reality, we discover that God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is not a theological puzzle to solve, but an eternal, self-giving community of love to participate in. Rather than leaving us to white-knuckle our way through Christ's radical teachings on our own, the triune God uniquely equips us—offering the perfect alignment of example and power, grace and fellowship, to transform us from the inside out.

We had a great time doing 75% of a round table. Alas no Benn this time, but Katie has done a hard new boulder in Yosemite so that gave us something to talk about. We got to talking about confidence in the projecting process, comparison to others, how much pride we feel about our achievements and I throw a bunch of hypotheticals at them at the end!If you're enjoying the podcast and would like to support us please consider checking out our patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=70353823Support the show

Tyson Fury returned, beat Arslanbek Makhmudov, then thought all he had to do was shout at ringsider Anthony Joshua to secure his next big fight. But it didn't quite work out like that. Regardless, the Fury of 2026 -though not the Fury of 2020- proved he's still among the sprightliest heavyweights around. The watching AJ, however, wasn't overly impressed. Conor Benn's evening didn't exactly go to plan either. Expected to walk through the war-torn Regis Prograis, Benn was made to work hard to win on points over 10 rounds. It begged the question: Why hasn't Benn knocked anyone out since 2022? Zuffa continue to make moves with the signing of Chris Billam-Smith and last, but not least, we head back to 2004 and a heartbreaking world title defeat for Michael Brodie. Tyson Fury makes his latest return from retirement on Saturday night with a tough but very winnable match-up against Arslanbek Makhmudov.Back in January 2025, Fury called time on his career for the fifth time after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk but he's since decided to fight on, and a win over Makhmudov would set him up for either a trilogy meeting with Usyk or a long-awaited tussle with British rival Anthony Joshua – or potentially both.

Over 100,000 cameras are quietly tracking your movements and feeding the data to police. Benn Jordan is here to explain why that should terrify you.Full show notes and resources can be found here: jordanharbinger.com/1308What We Discuss with Benn Jordan:Flock Safety's network of over 100,000 license plate readers logs every car that passes, creating a searchable 30-day surveillance profile — and when mixed with consumer data, social media, and criminal records, it builds a disturbingly complete picture of your life that you never consented to.The security on these cameras is shockingly weak — many run on a version of Android deprecated in 2021, and law enforcement accounts were found for sale on the dark web, meaning hackers, stalkers, and foreign actors can access the same footage as police with minimal effort.Surveillance data is already being weaponized in unexpected ways — from Texas police tracking women suspected of seeking out-of-state abortions to insurance companies and banks using AI-scraped "open source intelligence" to quietly deny you a mortgage or jack up your premiums without ever telling you why.The Hawthorne effect — the phenomenon where behavior changes when observed — means mass surveillance doesn't just watch us, it fundamentally alters how we live, learn, and express ourselves, eroding the private, judgment-free spaces where people practice new skills, take creative risks, and simply exist as themselves.Development of "adversarial noise attacks" — tech that makes AI hear gibberish when it tries to train on protected music — is a powerful reminder that you don't have to wait for lawmakers to protect your rights. With creativity and a DIY mindset, individuals can fight back against invasive technology using the very tools that were built to exploit them. And much more...And if you're still game to support us, please leave a review here — even one sentence helps! A round table with Benn and Katie again this week. We had to talk about Ondra a bit because he's been busy! Then the main goal was to fill out a D&D style alignment chart we stole from Reddit. We had a laugh with it and I tried to herd the cats as best I could but it all got a bit messy! If you're enjoying the pod and would like to support us please consider checking out our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/c/u70353823Support the show

While at war with Iran and a civilian population under missile attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government “has been working relentlessly towards the goal of making the public sphere of Israel more religious, its governance more autocratic, and the chances of replacing its leader slimmer,” Haaretz editor-in-chief Aluf Benn said on the Haaretz Podcast. The push for the anti-democratic judicial coup and empowerment of ultra-Orthodox autonomy “hasn't changed despite October 7,” Benn said. He observed that it had slowed significantly on that date, but today, the massacre and ensuing war has given Netanyahu “even more motivation” to “escape any responsibility and accountability for October” as he looks ahead to the election scheduled for this fall. In Benn’s wide-ranging conversation with podcast host Allison Kaplan Sommer on the four-week-old war and its impact on Israeli politics and society, Benn pointed out that the effort was not unusual, with many examples of wartime leaders taking advantage of “less public resistance” to consolidate their power. “Governments at war use it to limit civil liberties. We see it in Russia in the past four years, very visibly, where the last remaining bastions of some sort of opposition to President Putin have been wiped out.” Read more: Netanyahu Says Israel 'Expanding' Lebanon Buffer Zone as Country's Death Toll Crosses 1,000 Stand-in Justice Minister Formally Recommends That President Herzog Pardon Netanyahu Israel Preparing to Shift Pace, Targets of Iran Strikes if Trump Announces Cease-fire Op-ed by Aluf Benn: The Strange Case of Dr. Bibi and Mr. Benjamin Analysis by Anshel Pfeffer: In Iran, the Netanyahu Doctrine Is Now Facing Its Ultimate Test See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Peter DeFreitas opens up on a life forged in violence, loyalty, and survival - from the streets of East London to the heart of world championship boxing. Before the spotlight, his reputation was built the hard way, navigating crime, conflict, and a world where respect had to be earned and defended. As the right-hand man to Nigel Benn, he stepped into boxing's inner circle - negotiating high-stakes deals, protecting his fighter at all costs, and going toe-to-toe with some of the most powerful figures in the sport. He reveals the truth behind boxing's ruthless politics, where loyalty is rare, trust is dangerous, and one wrong move can change everything. But with success came consequences. He speaks openly about the price he paid - the relationships strained, the regrets that linger, and the reality of a life lived on the edge. This is a raw, unfiltered look at what it really takes to survive at the top. This is the eventful life of Peter DeFreitas. There is nothing new under the sun: it was here, already, long ago. It was here before our time. This much must be said of the ancient skeptics, who put forward perspectival, relativistic, and moral anti-realist arguments during the Hellenistic age. The central figure is Pyrrho of Elis, who is only known through secondary sources, and whose life is surrounded by a number of fascinating anecdotes which speak to an of image life guided by indifference and the pursuit of ataraxia. In this episode, we'll discuss that concepts, as well as ephektos, adiaphoria, and the possibility of viewing skepticism as a power or a practice rather than a doctrine or ideology. We will also discuss the ten skeptical tropes of Pyrrho and the five tropes of Agrippa. Primarily, we will follow the chapter on Pyrrho found in Diogenes Laertius, but I've also included some insights from A.W. Benn's "The Greek Philosophers" and Mary Mills Patrick's book on Sextus Empiricus, as well Sextus Empiricus himself (particularly the chapter on Gorgias).
4 - Balázs megismertetett egy olyan internetes honlappal bennünket, ahol AI beszélget AI-val by Balázsék
19:30 A szülőknek nagyobb kihívás-e elmerülni ebben a világban? 50:26 Három könyv Dániel András ajánlásában: Fuchsia Dunlop - A kínai konyha kultúrtörténete, Annie Ernaux - Szégyen, Ovidius - Átváltozások, Csehy Zoltán új fordításában.
