Documenting our ranking of documentaries. The old saying "life is stranger than fiction" could not be more true when it comes to many documentaries out there. The appeal of these types of films have really exploded in recent years and the technology of bringing in lost footage or remastering old footage has only gotten better, which has only improved the art form. They can also give the audience a fresh perspective on behind the scenes events of everyday life and make someone an expert on really niche topics (for like a week)!
