This Episode Features Leks VuckoGuest Location: SerbiaLeks Vucko is a life coach whose mission is to empower women. In her past, she has suffered low self-esteem, non-existent self-confidence, and due to that, she has allowed others to make decisions for her early in her life. That all led to hitting the infamous “rock bottom” a few times in her life and one day decided enough is enough, she was ready to be in charge of her life. Leks then started working on her mindset, beliefs, she started reading, taking courses, educating herself on anything and everything that had to do with positive psychology, the way the brain works and how our thoughts create our future. She has since completely transformed herself and her life and is feeling free and happy every day. After transforming herself and her life, she started working as a coach to empower women. Leks’ goal is to help women to get clear on what they want, to gain unshakable confidence, to feel strong, empowered, unstoppable and to create amazing lives for themselves. She believes that all women are superhuman. It is her mission to help every woman see that when she looks at herself in the mirror. Leks Vuco was born and raised in Eastern Europe, Serbia. When she was 16 she got hit by a car and had a "miracle" healing where they couldn't explain how well her legs healed. Little did she know then it was all about her mindset. The day she got out of the rehab center for her legs (this was in another city) and came home is the day that bombing started in her country. So there was the new "reality" to dive into. About a month into it, her mom and her left for Venezuela and stayed there till things calmed down. After that she went back to Serbia to repack and moved to the US within a couple weeks to finish high school. That's when culture shock and abandonment issues developed but that turned out to be one of the best things she could've gone through because she had to work on herself and rebuild herself without having outside influence such as family and their opinions. She then she has since gotten into fitness, built and grew a 6-figure fitness business (studio) which she thoroughly enjoyed however she realized then that just working out and eating healthy is not enough if someone's mindset has not been changed. In search for answers for how to help someone with the mindset and in search for answers for herself as to why she felt "stuck", she was led to learn about the way our brain works, limiting beliefs, happiness, NLP and plenty other things that helped her in her life and she decided she wanted to share that knowledge with the world. In 2017, after 8 years of running her fitness business, she sold the business and moved back to Europe to reunite with her old school love. They started a family soon after and all sounded dreamy... except everything was starting to fall apart around her. Leks was a mom to a newborn in a country that she didn't understand anymore and everyone's issues around her became hers. She decided this was not what she wanted and that she had to take control over her life again. She went back to “growth mindset”. Lek went back to reading, meditation, visualization. She took control over her life. Things started shifting almost immediately. Now leks run a successful online mindset coaching business, offering courses, meditation membership, writing books, workbooks, started a podcast, YouTube channel.... etc all that while maintaining an amazing relationship with her family. Now all she wants to do is help people shift their mindset and live the lives that they want instead of what they think they have to. Sometimes it’s hard to explain how the young man before you, not even 30, came to sound so erudite. At least that’s what you think when you hear Kyle Vucko, this thoughtful, intelligent man, speak about founding a business, being a professional manager, finding financing and becoming an investor himself. While still in the dorm room at the University of Victoria, Kyle and his partner, Heikal Gani, had a very big idea they now call “Indochino”. They felt there was a better way to help men get dressed and they were smart enough to seek out a series of mentors, some big names in the world of business. Today, Indochino is has nearly 150,000 customers all around the world. In this episode, I talk with Kyle about his learning curve and his mentors and what he feels he now brings to the table.
