This is a place for women to come together and not only understand who we are, but how to become exactly who we want to be without fear of judgment or failure. Mind Body Alignment is filled with the skills and tools necessary for us to get there!
The Mind Body Alignment podcast is an absolute gem. Tessa brings a refreshing and empowering perspective to personal growth and mindset shifts. Her episodes are packed with valuable insights, practical tools, and thought-provoking discussions that have the power to transform lives. Tessa's ability to speak truth and present facts in a relatable way is truly commendable. She has helped me become less emotionally driven and provided me with the necessary tools to navigate life more effectively. If her podcast is this great, I can only imagine how amazing her one-on-one coaching must be. I am immensely grateful for all of Tessa's hard work and dedication.
One of the best aspects of The Mind Body Alignment podcast is the deep dive into identity. Tessa delves into why we act the way we do and explores the concept of negative identity. This exploration has been eye-opening for me as it has allowed me to shift my perspective from focusing on my negative traits to envisioning who I want to be. The podcast has not only provided me with a better understanding of myself but also equipped me with strategies to make positive changes in my life.
The only downside of The Mind Body Alignment podcast is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the amount of information presented in each episode. While Tessa's passion and enthusiasm are infectious, it can be challenging to absorb everything she shares in one sitting. However, this issue can easily be resolved by taking notes or revisiting episodes multiple times.
In conclusion, The Mind Body Alignment podcast is a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their mindset and create meaningful change in their lives. Tessa's authenticity, knowledge, and genuine desire to help others shine through every episode. Whether you're feeling stuck or simply looking for inspiration, this podcast is a must-listen. I cannot recommend it enough, and I am incredibly grateful for all that Tessa has done for me personally through her insightful teachings.

It's personal, it's spiritual and it's emotional, but it's not societal..." - Ralphie JacobsSign up for Ralphie's "Teach Me How" subscription and check out her fantastic IG account for more tools and light.
Choose quiet observations and follow it with quick, intentional corrections.A few years ago, I realized that explaining every decision to my kids—why they couldn't have something, what I didn't like about their behavior—only made things worse. It fueled conflict, invited pushback, and exhausted me emotionally. So I made a change.I started quietly noticing the behavior, keeping my thoughts to myself, and then making a swift correction without fanfare. Whether it was about food dyes, screen time, or behavior after movies, this shift brought peace to our home and confidence to my parenting. You'll want to get a pen and piece of paper ready for the writing exercise in the last part of this episode. It will help you experience a huge shift in mindset and self-empowerment! More details on my coaching membership are right here. I'm excited to hear about your implementation of "quiet observations and quick corrections" to your daily parenting triumphs!

It's interesting that moms are being told how good and admirable it is to ask for help, then in the same breath we are told not to help our kids when they ask for it. "They're old enough to do it themselves." "They're big enough to do it themselves." "That's not mine, they should do it.""If I don't do it no one else will." I'm big enough, old enough and perfectly capable of simple tasks and sometimes those are the ones I feel are too big when I have so much else going on. I want my kids to know they can always ask for my help. Even when it's a problem or task to face on their own, I'll be there with them as a listening ear and word of guidance. Why would my kids ask for help with the big stuff if I instilled a "do it yourself" belief with the small stuff? This is my perspective that nurtures my willingness to serve seamlessly, say "yes" to helping and instilling lifelong beliefs. This is the Instagram reel I mentioned in the episode. Click here to learn about my coaching membership if you struggle with your mindset in motherhood and want to be free of your own thoughts.
How long would it take you to write out a list of allll the things you tell yourself you can't do?While some people want to fight to defend this "I can't" mentality so they can feel justified, YOU and I are ready to fight for that fire inside of us that knows WE CAN. This episode walks you through why it can feel so frustrating and freeing to say "I can, I just don't want to." What is the truth we can find when we shift our perspective this way and how to keep your feet on the ground through it all. I did a little IG reel on this! Be sure to do the writing exercise I described in this episode so you can become empowered to face the heart of the "I can't" mentality. I'm cheering you on, always. Remember, I have lots of negative thoughts and poor moments, too. I just really enjoy learning from them and challenging myself to do better with you.

In this episode, we're diving into a powerful practice: writing a letter to your future self to read at the end of 2025. This is your chance to put into words who you want to become—before it even happens. This will give you direction and intention for the entire year to come. Creating a clear vision for yourself activates the brain's Reticular Activating System (RAS), which helps you focus on opportunities and actions aligned with your goals. When you know what you want, your mind naturally works to make it happen. The real trick is to actually know what you want and that is where a lot of women struggle. We'll guide you through: ✨ Envisioning the person you want to be and the life you want to create in 2025. ✨ Writing about your personal, professional, physical, and spiritual growth. ✨ Reflecting on how it feels to live as the version of yourself you've always dreamed of becoming. ✨ Setting your intentions and grounding them in gratitude for the journey ahead. Start your letter with “Dear [Your Name]” and let your vision for the year come alive on the page. This is more than just a letter—it's your declaration of what's possible for you in the year ahead. Let's create a 2025 worth celebrating.
Join the waitlist for my coaching membership that opens in January ! You can join me every week for live coaching sessions (for sure available for replay), access to ALL of my courses (happy tears) and the all around best community of women supporting each other with real tools you can even imagine! In this episode, we're closing out 2024 with gratitude, reflection, and intention by writing a heartfelt letter to the year! You'll learn how to acknowledge your highs, validate your lows, and uncover lessons that shaped you. This reflective practice will help you release the weight of anxiety and pain, while carrying forward the clarity and courage you've gained into 2025. I'll guide you through prompts like: ✨ “Dear 2024, thank you for ________.” ✨ “What challenges or wins shaped me into who I am today?” ✨ “What pain or regret am I ready to release?” This is your chance to honor your journey, let go of what no longer serves you, and step into the new year feeling lighter and more aligned. Grab a pen, find a quiet space, and let's start writing.
In this episode, we're diving deep into the powerful phrase “They watch them, they study me” and what it means for moms striving to strengthen their mindset and hold themselves accountable as role models for their children. While outside influences—peers, media, and even family members—may play a role in shaping our kids, it's our actions, attitudes, and reactions that leave the most lasting impact. Join me as we explore how to embrace this truth, even when it feels overwhelming, and how to use it as a guiding principle to set a strong, positive example for your kids. Understanding that while peers and media might capture their attention, your example shapes their character. How to focus on what you can control and let go of what you can't. Using the phrase “They watch them, they study me” as a grounding mantra to respond with intention. Kids may watch others around them, but it's your actions they truly study and emulate. When you choose to view all that is happening as something that you need, you start learning A LOT very quickly. I completely thought I was in labor and called our family 2.5 hours away so they could be there for it, only to have every contraction stop by 11:00 pm! I felt so disappointed and like I had let everyone down or wasted their time... which is NOT how I want to spend the last bit of my pregnancy. Fortunately, I have more tools and landed on three refreshing perspectives that lifted me up by the very next morning. I'm opening up and sharing those with you here so that people pleasing tendencies are something you can actively work on overcoming too! I don't want my first thoughts to be negative and swimming in the "happening to me..." mentality. Yet, sometimes they are. Here's a question I ask myself that lifts me up and out of that victim mentality and sets me on the high road of being who I WANT to be, no matter where I go or who I am with. This one might feel challenging to take in so know 1. I LOVE YOU and all people in your life and mine. 2. We are meant to be challenged. 3. If it feels hard it's probably because you need to do it. It seems a bit odd to me that when I share about serving seamlessly, the biggest objections that come up against it are fear based thoughts around "doing too much." Doing too much for our kids, spouse and others. Seamless service is not about doing everything for someone else. It is taking opportunities to serve others well when and how you can. To see a need and fill it with the same attitude you want your kids to have when they see a need to fill. We need the right attitude married to our behaviors! Enjoy this episode to nudge your perspective into new open territory that breathes life and change into your attitude. How will I get my kids to listen. How will I get them to get along with each other. How will they be okay in the world we have today? How will I know I did right by them? Trying to control "how" and "when" will leave you swimming against a raging current of negative thoughts. It's completely hopeless and exhausting. Today we are unpacking the faithful thought "Trust that it will rain." As well as what it would look like as a journaling prompt with several examples. Truly, this fresh perspective has been shedding layers of fear and anxiety for me and I know this sweet relief is too good to keep to myself. On a recent family trip I got to take the role of "that mom" on an airplane. The one that holds a screaming baby while battling the negative thoughts in her head, swimming in the victim mentality and even making a snarky comment to her husband. That was me AND I didn't let it end there. I'm sharing the mindset I used to practically realize where my thoughts were at and what I needed to do instead so I could be who I want to be no matter where I am or who I am with. This is completely possible for you, too! If you're noticing a lot of negative thoughts in your mind then you need to use Alignment Journaling to set them straight on a proactive and consistent basis!

All of that going on and what I chose to do instead that I hope plants a seed in your mind and more hope in your heart for what is possible for YOU and YOUR motherhood. This is good work we are doing. If you need MORE help getting your mindset into a place that can slow the moments down and see your actions aligned with the mother you want to be, then you need to journal. Goodness, I am completely thrilled to be expecting our fourth baby this July and grateful to be sharing the news with you today! This episode includes some personal details of my pregnancy that I haven't shared yet, as well as three key perspectives that help me so much during pregnancy as a good frame of mind to keep myself in. I hope this serves you and please remember that wherever you are in your motherhood, the miracle of pregnancy is not lost on me. You can visit the pregnancy symptoms highlight I mentioned on my Instagram account that has more actionable recommendations of what helps me during pregnancy! This is Beehive meals that I mentioned for easy dinners that taste delicious and keep great in the freezer for those extra tired days! I highly recommend them for your family or a gift to someone!
Oh man, does reading that title fire something up in you?! Well, if you take the time to allow this perspective to be delivered to you throughout this episode, there's a very high chance that you will receive it and the benefits that it can give you. Come in here with an open mind and know that there's a very good chance that your mind is choosing to believe something harmful about daily circumstances that actually makes them harder on you instead of easier. This mentality I shared here is about bringing more ease and acceptance to your circumstances so you can see the purpose that is there and utilize what you are given AS something you did need. You can join me in the Alignment Journaling Course to build a daily writing practice that actually serves you in your growth! You really can do this and I know that with my whole heart, Tessa Romero
Motherhood, marriage and liiife are constantly giving us the opportunity to think greater and develop new ways to help ourselves be who we want to be through it all. That's what mindset work is to me. This constant focus and unraveling of who I am and what she thinks. This new tool is one that graciously found it's way to me in the middle of a hard moment with my kiddos and goodness I have used it almost daily since then. Put this into practice and remember that the best way to change your mindset is not picking out all of the negativity, it's flushing out the negativity with a whole new perspective! I adore you and love that we get to do this together. I'll see you in the Alignment Journaling Course for more "flushing out the negativity" as we have our Marriage topic this February!
You know how when you leave a dark movie theater and walk back out into the sun it can really sting your eyes? There's an adjustment period when going from darkness to light and that may be what you're experiencing right now in your growth! This episode will encourage you to stay the course as you continue making good decisions and persevere through the discomfort that comes as you adjust. You CAN be who you want to be and we can do it together. The REVIVE Retreat enrollment closes on January 31, 2024 for our February 21-25, 2024 retreat. Find the details here!
I love this community and this episode was directly requested by a fellow member in our MOMSET Tribe. She said "I wanted to make a podcast suggestion in case there are other moms like me feeling this. I love allll the podcasts but I constantly have this underlying anxiety feeling of "agh, it's too late. I've messed this up for my kids so much their whole childhood, If I only found Tessa years ago... I wish I could just start over." I am here to reassure you that none of us are alone and the anxious feelings of "too late to change" are coming from the thoughts associated with it. This episode is ready to give you four helpful perspectives that can uproot the belief system around change and get you grounded in new empowerment that fires you up. You can change now and it matters! If you need a real fresh start and to smack the reset button of your life so you can hold yourself to a new vision of who you are and what you decide to create, come to my REVIVE Retreat. This is the last retreat for close to two years and we are letting it ALL out at this one- nothing to hold back! Enrollment closes January 31, 2024 Let's get to work, Tessa Romero
I love it when I have a story to share of a recent experience and that is just what I have in store for you today. My husband baked my sourdough starter (that I have tenderly babied for a month to get going) to 300 degrees ... wowza. Now, I could have harshly reacted and expressed disappointment on to him and justified every second of my behavior, and I didn't. What if we didn't do what we could justify, and instead chose to do what could lead to better interactions and truly teaching others how to treat us through the way we treat them? Ironically, I did the same thing to my sourdough starter the very next day and that is when the power of my chosen response really clicked for me. Listen along and reflect on where and how you'd like to intentionally shift your chosen responses. The REVIVE Retreat enrollment closes on January 31 and this is my LAST self-discovery and healing retreat for close to two years. Get yourself to this transformative event with us. I am in your corner and cheering you on like a proud mama! Tessa Romero
