Do you ever feel like you have fallen off the wagon in some area of your life? Yeah me too. And to be honest, more often than I care to admit. In this episode I share insights on how even if it feels like you have “fallen off”, or regressed in some way, you are still making progress. You are still worthy. You are still on the right path. The important part is getting back up and redirecting yourself back to your goals, habits or routines. Every part of your journey is important- yes even the setbacks, rest periods and “failures”. All of it serves a purpose even if it doesnt make sense at the time or feels like you have backtracked in some way. There's a lesson you needed to learn, rest your mind (or body) needed, an unmet need that is asking to be seen, or healing that is being brought to the surface to be released. All of it is important. The key to success is staying strong in your “why” and finding the strength & courage to realign, refocus & redirect yourself every single time you need. You are powerful, you are capable and you are always exactly where you are meant to be. In this weeks episode we speak on the gift that is the present moment. How living life to the fullest is also about living fully present in each moment. Each breath, each new day and each experience we are given is a gift. Embrace it. Slow down and take it all in, as often as possible! We are not ever guaranteed anything more than the present moment. Right here. Right now. Making a practice of being present not only allows us to appreciate and have more gratitude about our life;but also brings us peace & compassion. Now is the time to be aware of each and every moment in time.
In this episode of D Talks your Daily Habits we get transparent with our own struggles with patience, plus dive into how important it is to trust the process of divine timing. We are co-creators to our realities, and guess what? Sometimes we have to get into the passenger seat of our life and allow the higher powers to take the wheel. Everything that is meant to be yours, will be yours! Breathe. Be patient. Allow yourself to be here in this moment because you are exactly where you need to be! Growth happens when we are able to slow down, take aligned action and surrender to the Universe all in one.
GUYS! It's episode 7! First of all- thank you! We are so thrilled to be back again for another episode in this beautiful community, and today we are here to remind you that you can start fresh at any time. We talk about alignment, some routine habits to follow, falling off the so-called wagon and the power of getting back on every-time. This journey is a rollercoaster, full of ups and downs, ins and outs while also having times filled with spiraling out of control. Don't worry! The most important part of this message is how all of that mess is normal! You are human, you will make mistakes, you will have seasons of thriving…as well as seasons where you are just surviving. It is all a part of YOUR EXPERIENCE. In each of these seasons there are lessons to be learned, an awareness of oneself to be discovered, and areas brought to light that require further healing. It is in these moments that we must be compassionate and nonjudgemental with ourselves and use the tools that serve us best to know how to pivot + realign towards our highest self. You can always pick yourself up and start fresh- as many times as it takes!
In this episode we expand our conversation on shadows and the triggers that show up when we get around the people we have in our life, like family. We all know that family can bring out the best in us- and the worst. The truth is that the people closest to us are here to teach us and help mold us into our authentic self. Every relationship we have is here to help us learn, and unlearn, parts of us that require attention. These triggers and projections are just subconscious aspects of us that need healing so that we can grow. Family is a major key to our shadows- we can use these triggers to look inside of ourselves and ask the questions that we may not see directly if they didn't bring it to light. We touch on journaling tools you can use, how setting boundaries is important and that compassionate forgiveness is vital in your journey.
Inner work? Shadow work? wtf is it? Are they the same? Do I even have a shadow? How do I know when it shows up? When it comes to healing & spirituality, you may have come across these two sayings and thought some of these questions. Don't worry- us too! In this episode we dive into just what the hell shadow work is, why it is not quite the same as just inner work and why the combination of the two are very important aspects of our healing journey and who we are as a whole!
In this episode we discuss comparison and how it can lift you up, or tear you down- and how you really can control it all. How even though we live in a society that constantly showcases their highlight reel, shows glimpses of fake perfection, and makes you believe we should all be on a certain path-you are uniquely made to be YOU. You are different for a reason, you are meant to take your own journey towards your authentic self so that you can live in alignment with who you were meant to be. It is time we get compassionate with ourselves, break free of the comparison trap and tap into our highest self.
In this episode we discuss the infamous ego, how it manifests into our daily lives, the common misconceptions around it, how the ego communicates, what it looks like when you create from the ego, and how to tune into it in order to understand where you are manifesting from.
In this episode we cover the messiness of breakdowns and how BEING in the mess and SEEING the mess on the other side are two different things. We get raw and vulnerable about the current problems we are facing and how money seems to be a common pattern brought up to the surface. We showcase that being compassionate towards the feelings that arise, the actions you take and the process through it all can be hard. We touch on the Ego, how it can cause us to act on pure survival mode versus out of our intuition, and how through the awareness of it all — you can shift your own patterns and habits.
