Darkness Radio Presents: The Metaphysics of UFOs: Mothman, Men In Black, Multiple Dimensions, and The Search For The Truth with Phrenologist/Researcher/Author, Dr. Jonathan Kendall! Are UFOs visitors from our universe or parallel realities? Do they come from the same spiritual realm as our dearly departed? How are they connected to cryptids and paranormal activity?Sharing numerous evidential case studies, Jonathan Kendall explores the seemingly irreconcilable physical and spiritual aspects of UFOs/UAPs. The evidence he presents has implications that could lead to revolutionary breakthroughs in the areas of communications, energy use, medicine, interstellar travel, religion, and the nature of reality. This eye-opening book. "The Metaphysics of UFOs" investigates the connection between UFOs and kindred phenomena like monsters, Men in Black, and poltergeists. It also explores the harrowing world of UFO abductions and why the aftereffects are so similar to those of both near-death experiences and encounters with mystical realms. These case studies shatter conventional views of reality and prove that far more is at stake than answering the question, "Are we alone in the universe?"On Today's show, we sit down with Dr. Kendall and ask him why Mothman ties into UFO lore. We dive deeper into the phenomenon known as the Men In Black! We talk about whether Aliens are an extraterrestrial phenomenon or an extradimensional one, and also how we have obtained physical evidence if they are extradimensional. And Dr. Kendall will tell us why he thinks Aliens probably have more in common with Faeries and the Djinn than with human beings!Get your copy of "The Metaphysics of UFO's: Evidential Case Studies on UAPs, Paranormal Phenomena, and Spiritual Experiences" here: https://bit.ly/4ysg2aiWant a new spot to hang out, have that perfect dinner, and see some great entertainment? The Spiritual Experience The Big Book tells us that a spiritual experience can happen in many different ways. For some, it is sudden and dramatic. For others, it comes slowly through meetings, prayer, inventory, service, and daily practice. Today we'll talk about what a spiritual experience really is, why it does not have to look the same for everyone, and how continued action can bring about the inner change that recovery requires. #TheDailyTrudge #TheSpiritualExperience #AlcoholicsAnonymous #BigBook #AARecovery #SpiritualAwakening #Recovery #Sobriety #TwelveSteps #OneDayAtATime
The Vital Spiritual Experience The Big Book makes a bold statement: without a vital spiritual experience, there is little hope for our recovery. But what does that really mean? Does it require a dramatic "burning bush" moment, or can it happen gradually through working the Twelve Steps? Today on The Daily Trudge, we'll explore one of the most important concepts in Alcoholics Anonymous. We'll look at what the Big Book says about a spiritual awakening versus a spiritual experience, why this transformation is essential to lasting sobriety, and how our relationship with a Higher Power changes the way we live. Recovery isn't just about stopping drinking. It's about becoming a different person through a spiritual transformation that touches every area of our lives. Join the conversation. #TheDailyTrudge #Recovery #AlcoholicsAnonymous #AA #BigBook #SpiritualExperience #SpiritualAwakening #Sobriety #RecoveryCommunity #HigherPower

In this episode, we talk about spiritual discernment through the wisdom of St. Ignatius of Loyola, especially when it comes to dreams, consolations, inner words, coincidences, and strange little moments in prayer.Catholic discernment is not about overthinking every grace or becoming spiritually paranoid. It is about receiving what leads us toward God, testing the fruit, and staying rooted in Christ, the sacraments, and the wisdom of the Church. We'll discuss Ignatian discernment, consolation and desolation, spiritual experiences, and how to avoid both rationalizing grace away and clinging too tightly to spiritual feelings.
What happens in the brain and body when we experience awe, deep meditation, chills, insight, or profound moments of connection? In this episode Dr. Lorne Brown sits down with cognitive neuroscientist, UCLA lecturer, and Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies co-founder Dr. Nicco Regente to explore the science behind non-ordinary states of consciousness.Together, they discuss meditation, heart-brain dynamics, immersive technologies, psychedelic-inspired experiences, belief change, interoception, and the fascinating neuroscience of “chills” — those goosebump-inducing moments that may signal meaningful shifts in perception and understanding. Nicco shares how emerging research is helping scientists measure transformative states and why openness, curiosity, and awe may play a crucial role in human flourishing.Key Takeaways:Non-ordinary states may help reduce internal noise and support meaningful belief change.Stroboscopic light technology may produce rapid state changes similar to longer meditation sessions.Repeated experiences alone do not guarantee transformation; integration is essential.Chills and goosebumps may reflect moments of deep learning and worldview updating.Openness, curiosity, and engagement with art can help cultivate greater flourishing and self-transcendence.Where to find Nicco Reggente:Website: https://advancedconsciousness.org/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iacslab/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/advancedconsciousnessYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@iacslabNicco Reggente's Bio:Dr. Nicco Reggente is a neuroscientist, UCLA lecturer, and co-founder of the Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies, where he serves as Research Director and Principal Investigator. Your Appetite Determines Your Spiritual Experience explores how a deep hunger for God opens the door to His healing, strength, and transformation. Drawing from the scriptures, Dr. Conway Edwards emphasizes that spiritual growth depends on what we crave - milk keeps us surviving, but strong meat empowers us to overcome. When we humble ourselves before God, He fills the thirsty soul with living water and renews what once felt dry or broken. Faith becomes active when our desire for God outweighs our desire for comfort. This message calls believers to cultivate a holy appetite that positions them for deeper encounters and divine healing.

In this episode of Hunger for Wholeness, Ilia Delio speaks with neurotheologian Shaleen Kendrick about neuroscience, contemplative practice, and the biology of spiritual experience. Shaleen shares her journey from conservative evangelical ministry through deconstruction, suffering, and contemplative prayer into the emerging field of neurotheology.Together, Ilia and Shaleen explore how religious experience is not separate from the body but mediated through it. They consider how God-language, belief, prayer, trauma, neuroplasticity, and contemplative practice all shape the brain and body—and how changing our images of God can change the very neural pathways through which we experience reality.Later in the episode, they discuss the resistance many theologians have to locating spiritual experience in neurobiology, the promise and complexity of psychedelics and healing, and the growing scientific evidence that spirituality is an innate human capacity. Rather than reducing God to biology, this conversation asks what becomes possible when we understand the body as the living temple of divine encounter.ABOUT SHALEEN KENDRICKRev. Dr. Shaleen Kendrick, ThD, is an emerging neurotheologian who developed the Neuro-Relational Integration™ (NRI) model—demonstrating how conscious integration across Mind–Body–Spirit neural systems can facilitate rapid adaptive evolution in how we think, act, and relate to ourselves, others, and the challenges of our time. NRI integrates neuroscience with liberation theology to show that through daily wholeness-making practices we can expand our human capacity and create new abilities that nurture not just individual flourishing but transform the systems we live in. She serves companies, practitioners, and faith communities, translating evolutionary spirituality into embodied practice—because the world needs humans who can evolve as quickly as our challenges emerge. As You Wish Talk Radio with James Gilliland Scott Wolter, Templar Secrets, the Yeshua Scroll, and the Return of the Divine Feminine James Gilliland Introduces a Conversation About Hidden History In this episode of As You Wish Talk Radio, host James Gilliland opens by acknowledging that many people may be feeling emotionally or physically affected by what he describes as intense solar and energetic activity reaching the planet. He then welcomes guest Scott Wolter, describing him as a forensic geologist, television host, author, and researcher of controversial artifacts, the Knights Templar, Freemasonry, and alternative interpretations of North American history. Scott begins by discussing his latest book, which he says is based on family-held journals documenting four centuries of Templar history and the fate of what he identifies as the Templar treasure. The Knights Templar and a Suppressed Spiritual Tradition Scott presents his understanding of the Knights Templar as more than a medieval military order associated with the Catholic Church. According to him, the order's inner leadership followed a Gnostic Christian tradition rooted in Jesus, Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist, and an older sacred lineage that honored the feminine and regarded male and female as equal expressions of the divine. He describes the Templars' suppression in the early fourteenth century, their alleged continuation through later leadership and documents, and his own initiation into a modern branch of the tradition. Scott says his present role is not to carry a sword, but to use words and actions to educate people about what he believes are concealed historical truths. Indigenous Connections, Sacred Feminine Values, and North American Evidence The conversation moves to Scott's belief that Templars traveled to North America and formed relationships with Indigenous peoples. He contrasts them with earlier Vikings, whom he says did not respect Indigenous culture, while claiming that the Templars shared spiritual principles involving sacred rituals, brotherhood, and honor for the divine feminine. He connects this interpretation to his work on the Kensington Rune Stone, which he regards as a Templar land claim and as evidence that the order reached Minnesota. James and Scott agree that mainstream historical, academic, religious, and governmental institutions often preserve controlled narratives while dismissing evidence or experiences that do not fit accepted explanations. Mary, Spiritual Experiences, and the Divine Feminine James shares personal spiritual experiences, including a childhood encounter he believes involved Mother Mary when he was critically ill and later photographic evidence he says depicts Mary and other beings appearing during gatherings. He explains that the message he received from Mary was that she was not limited to Catholicism but was present for all children. Scott responds by describing his own encounter with a female spiritual presence and his friendship with another experiencer who, he says, encountered the same being. The two men discuss the emergence of the divine feminine, the need for spiritual balance, and their belief that feminine spiritual power is especially significant amid present-day harm toward children and humanity. The Scroll's Message About Yeshua, Mary Magdalene, and Divinity Within A central portion of the episode concerns a scroll Scott says he helped decode and publicize through interviews and podcasts. Scott describes the scroll as containing messages attributed to Yeshua, including the claim that he was “not entirely human,” survived after being placed in a family tomb, healed himself, was freed by his wife, traveled north, taught a dual-gendered understanding of God, fathered two children, later returned to Jerusalem, and eventually ascended in spirit while his body was placed in a family tomb. James interprets these ideas through his own teachings about extraterrestrial lineage, Mary's spiritual genetics, archangels as nonhuman beings, and a divine intervention involved in Yeshua's birth. Both say the scroll validates their view that the divine is within every person, that the sacred feminine and masculine belong together, and that teachings of unity have been obscured by patriarchal religious systems. Critical Thinking, Collective Consciousness, and the Coming Shift Scott and James also discuss opposition they have faced from academics, religious critics, and people who dismiss unconventional research or spiritual experiences. Scott defends his forensic background and argues that physical evidence should be examined publicly rather than rejected because it conflicts with conventional history. James connects this to his own experiences with unidentified craft, beings, healings, and spiritual messages. Toward the end, Scott asks James about a future date and spiritual event associated with Yeshua; James says he expects a major energetic or consciousness shift rather than a literal physical return. The episode closes with both men encouraging open-mindedness, love, pure intention, personal transformation, and a willingness to move beyond fear and division during a period they believe is revealing hidden truths and expanding human consciousness.
Former mission president Bart Warner and his former missionary James Logan explore the dynamics, patterns, and spiritual impact of mentorship. Drawing from their shared history in the Texas Dallas Mission and their current professional collaboration, they discuss how deliberate interpersonal guidance fosters long-term progression. They focus on overcoming personal stagnation by cultivating effective mentor-mentee relationships to strengthen individuals and build Zion. A Great Mentee Attracts a Great Mentor: Finding guidance begins with the posture of the learner. True mentorship thrives when a mentee actively desires progression, remains coachable, and seeks out wisdom during times of critical personal or spiritual need. Strict Obedience Unlocks Spiritual Momentum: Reflecting on James’s early mission struggles, the guests highlight how committing to precise alignment with established standards (like the missionary handbook) for even one week can completely shift an individual’s momentum and open doors to transformative experiences. The Dual Impact of Mentorship: True guidance is a mutual blessing. While the mentee receives navigation and structural metrics to succeed, the mentor is simultaneously sharped, humbled, and revitalized by watching the next generation progress. Leadership Applications Intervene with High-Expectation Challenges: When a ward member or missionary wants to give up, leaders can follow Bart’s example by offering a short-term, clear challenge rooted in exact covenant precision rather than immediately lowering expectations. Intentionally Bridge Generation Gaps: Leaders can structurally pair experienced members with younger adults in callings, ward council configurations, or ministering assignments to ensure that lived spiritual and temporal wisdom is actively transferred. If you're being honest, you know something has shifted in this culture. Most of us feel it even if we can't name it. The language has changed, the standards have changed, emotional performance has replaced principled conviction, and the men willing to hold a hard line are being told to sit down and apologize. Today's guest, Dale Partridge, doesn't apologize. And. He makes the case for why you shouldn't either. We cover the philosophical and cultural forces driving the effeminization of men and society, why a man without a defined worldview is a man who can be pushed around, the political and moral landscape men are being asked to navigate right now, and what it practically looks like to reclaim the kind of masculinity this culture is working overtime to erase. We don't pull punches on this one. Send us Fan MailIn this returning visit to the Spiritually Inspired Show, poet, artist, and holistic community builder Flowing River shares how three years of dedicated mantra meditation under a single spiritual teacher — Bahador Sangjee — fundamentally transformed his understanding of the spiritual path. Drawing on metaphors of mountain trails, digging one hole, and the wisdom of enlightened sages from Buddha to Guru Nanak to Lao Tzu, he makes the case that simplicity, devotion, and depth are far more powerful than the "rainbow path" of collecting spiritual experiences across many traditions. He weaves together his 19-year digital marketing background, his disillusionment with the ego-driven business world, the dangers of AI dependence, the science of tea and its L-theanine chemistry, and the philosophy behind Drishti House — his Daoist tea ceremony space in Santa Barbara — into a single, unified vision: that true creativity, true healing, and true leadership all flow from the same source — the willingness to go inward, stay still, and surrender to what is already within you. “Your highest levels of protection are always going to be two things, your belief and your awareness.”In this Earth Xperience conversation, Dani talks with Eloheem Ali about spiritual experiences, sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, belief systems, God, purpose, love, marriage, and what it means to be human. Eloheem shares how seeing spirits and having vivid dream experiences shaped the way he understands reality, while also explaining the Philosophy of Order and his belief that humanity has drifted from its deeper purpose. The conversation moves through Christianity, spiritual interpretation, fear, consciousness, Genesis, stewardship, and the idea that awareness can change how we experience both the unseen and everyday life.Questions to explore from this conversation:What parts of your belief system came from personal experience, and what parts came from what you were taught? When something feels spiritual, how do you decide whether to fear it, question it, or learn from it?What does purpose look like in your life right now, and how do you know when you are in alignment with it?Do your current ideas about love, marriage, community, and freedom come from your own values or from the world around you?Search for Eloheem AliFind Eloheem Ali at thephilosophyoforder.com and school.com/the philosophy of order. In this episode, Dr. K is joined by psychiatrist Dr. Michael Hsu to explore the intersection of faith, psychedelics, and mental health. They discuss whether our brains act as "antennas" for a non-material world and how spiritual experiences can be a profound catalyst for healingWhat to expect in this episode: A Journey from Skepticism: Dr. Hsu shares his personal story of growing up as an atheist and how a mystical experience at his lowest point saved him from suicide and led him toward a life of faith The Spiritual Antenna: A look at the theory that the brain is an organ of perception capable of "tuning in" to spiritual realms, and how psychedelics might artificially activate these receptors Psychedelics vs. Religious Visions: An analysis of whether drug-induced experiences and religious visions are phenomenologically the same, and the importance of neutrality and safety in psychedelic therapy Encountering "Machine Elves": Why DMT users globally report consistent encounters with the same mechanical beings, and what this suggests about the shared nature of human perception The Problem with Pathologizing: Why the field of psychiatry often incorrectly labels spiritual experiences as "psychosis" and how this can lead to missed opportunities for healing The Need for Meaning: Why science is excellent at explaining "how" things work but often fails to address the human need for "why" and the purpose of existence Embracing Mystery: An introduction to "negative capability"—the ability to remain in uncertainty and doubt without reaching for absolute, rigid answers The Value of Community: How the social connectedness found in religious traditions acts as a major protective factor against the modern epidemic of isolation Something sexy is coming to HG! I sat down with Daniel Donato at the lovely Russell Hotel in Nashville, and the resulting conversation was one of the most unique I've had here on Roadcase. Daniel is both a deep thinker and a truly talented musician, and in this interview we explore the metaphysics of live performance — and just what it means to explore the outer limits of both music and consciousness. Daniel also talks to me about his own experience and growth as an individual, and how his faith and a belief in a higher force (physical and otherwise) drives him and keeps him focused on the higher meaning of his what he views as his personal mission.Daniel is super personable, fun, and really down for a great talk — we really go deep down the philosophical road together on this one — and I can't wait for you to give this amazing interview a listen!! This series address what some of us in recovery refer to as “the God problem.” In episode 1 "Bill Wilson's Spiritual Experiences" we explore: Does God exist? Does God really care about us – and maybe more honestly and specifically, does God care about me and mine?People have been asking these questions for as long as human beings have been on this earth but for us “real” alcoholics and addicts whose lives depend on finding a spiritual solution to our addiction death sentence, it's more than a matter of speculation.Bill Wilson was one of those men in such desperate need. In this episode Fr. Bill traces some of the lesser-known events that preceded Bill Wilson's famous “White Light” experience in detox. Through these encounters the door of Bill's mind and heart can be seen opening to a divine, healing Presence that would soon bring about his release from addiction. Future episodes will attempt to open inner doors for addicts and alcoholics struggling with the spiritual approach used in 12-Step recovery.Show notes:Bill W. My First 40 Years

Every artist hits a moment where the question isn't how do I grow — it's what do I stand for now. This is our third time sitting down with King Topher, but this conversation marks a real next chapter. Because what started as a private prayer call for the music industry back in 2019 has quietly evolved into his latest project: Rave Jesus. At its core, this isn't about changing lanes — it's about expanding the mission. Taking everything he's built in dance music and asking a bigger question: what does it look like when purpose, faith, and club culture exist in the same space? Rave Jesus reflects a desire to see God's presence permeate every corner of the music world — regardless of what you believe, we have all felt something special on the dance floor. T oday, we're unpacking the strategy, the responsibility, and the reality of stepping into a new chapter — creatively, professionally, and publicly. Welcome back to the show… King Topher.

In this episode, I'm finally telling the full story of the spiritual experience that changed my personality and my entire approach to life. It's the story of a dream I had about my late “Uncle” Donald — a man who wasn't biologically related to me, but who was woven into the fabric of my family and my life in a way that's hard to put into words. He was my parents' best friend, the person who introduced them to one another, and someone who felt just as much like family as any blood relative. After he passed away suddenly in 2011, something happened that completely changed the way I understand the world. The night of his funeral, I had a dream that felt different from any dream I'd ever had before — one that has stuck with me more than a decade later. In this episode, I talk about that dream, the strange and meaningful signs that followed, and why I believe he stayed with me (and my family) for a decade after he passed. I share how those signs showed up at major moments in my life — my career, my wedding, becoming a mother — and how they continue to shape the way I move through the world today. This story touches on loss, spirituality, dreams, and the ways we stay connected to the people we love, even after they're gone. I know this kind of story isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay. But for me, it's brought comfort, peace, and a deeper sense of connection to life itself. If you've ever lost someone and wished for a sign, or wondered whether the people we love ever really leave us, I hope this episode resonates with you.Thank you for being here and letting me share this part of my story.Sponsors:Bird&Be: Visit birdandbe.com and use code REALSTUFF for 15% off your first purchase.Laundry Sauce: Get 20% off your entire order at Laundry Sauce with code REALSTUFF at laundrysauce.com/REALSTUFFPique: Unlock 20% off and begin your journey toward sustained wellness today at Piquelife.com/REALSTUFFSKIMS: Shop SKIMS Fits Everybody collection at skims.com/realstuffBayer: Check out Bayer's trusted lineup of products, available at Walmart, CVS, Amazon, and Walgreens.Watch this episode in video form on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjmevEcbh5h5FEX0pazPEtN86t7eb2OgX To apply to be a guest on the show, visit luciefink.com/apply and send us your story. When setting off on any journey, it's best to know your intended destination in advance. On the 12th Step journey, to use the Big Book's original wording, that means following the 12 Steps to arrive at a transformational spiritual experience - one powerful enough to overcome addiction. Of course, the wording of the 12th Step was soon changed to “a spiritual awakening” not wanting to scare newcomers away. But when Bill Wilson tried changing it back to the original, AA wouldn't let him. This single episode describes the “psychic change” the Steps are intended to bring about using three quotes to describe the experience. First, a definition that originated with William James in his Varieties of Religious Experience; second, the description contained in the Big Book; and finally, a helpful quote from Jungian author Robert A. Johnson's book Transformation. These quotes are contained in a handout found in the show notes.Show notes: What Is a Psychic Change or Spiritual ExperienceQuantum Change by Professor William MillerTransformation by Robert A. How many of the beliefs shaping your identity as a woman are truly yours, and how many were planted by a culture that profits from your self-doubt?Josh Trent welcomes Dr. Amanda Hanson, Psychologist, Author, and Transformative Speaker, to the Wellness + Wisdom Podcast, episode 786, to explore why so many women feel broken inside a culture designed to keep them small, how beliefs from our lineage shape identity, how aging awakens feminine truth, and what it means to become a woman who leads from grounded power instead of inherited pain.Magnetic: A Women-Only Immersive ExperienceIn just 2 days, you will bring back your magnetic energy, build an unshakable foundation of self-worth, and properly process years of suppressed pain.No woman is broken. Most are just unmothered. And sometimes, even the women who seem to have it all: success, intelligence, ambition... find themselves face to face with an invisible wall. They've read the books, gone to therapy, attended the retreats... But something is still missing. What's missing is YOU. Not the woman who is holding it all together because no one else will. Not the woman who's high-achieving, high-functioning, but is profoundly neglected. Not the woman who holds space for everyone else but feels unseen. The real you. The one who knew how to rest without guilt, laugh without filtering, and cry without apologizing. The one who was radiant without trying, before she believed she had to earn love by shrinking. The one who knows her worth. It's time to bring her back.Join todayIn This Episode, Dr. Amanda Hanson Uncovers:(01:13) How Toxic Beauty Culture Keeps Women Afraid(02:41) "Our Bodies Trend": Why Women Can Never Win(03:11) Victoria's Secret Founder's Disturbing "Ideal Beauty"(04:04) Why Aging Is Actually a Spiritual Experience(07:28) The Princess-to-Queen Journey Every Woman Needs(09:04) What Men Are Actually Craving in Women(11:53) The Power of the Crone: What Happens After Menopause(17:52) Why She Removed Her Implants (and Couldn't Stop Crying)(22:35) "No Woman Is Broken, Most Are Just Unmothered"(48:23) Reuniting With Her Estranged Father After 43 Years(53:53) "He Never Changed. My guest is Dr. David DeSteno, PhD, a professor of psychology at Northeastern University. We discuss science, God and religion, including what science can and can't reveal about the existence of God and where religious faith and science do and do not align. We also discuss why questions about life's origins, miracles and the afterlife have persisted across time. Dr. DeSteno explains how religious rituals cause meaningful improvements in mental and physical health and how prayer and gratitude can markedly reduce stress, increase honesty and compassion and buffer against loneliness and despair. Finally, we explore what distinguishes religions and mission-based communities from cults, and we discuss the role that communities such as 12-step and Burning Man play in modern life.
