F1 correspondent and F1TV presenter Lawrence Barretto, and Brazilian journalist Julianne Cerasoli, join Tom Clarkson in the Spielberg paddock to discuss Lando Norris's victory at the Austrian Grand Prix. How did Lando bounce back from Canada? What did we learn from his epic wheel-to-wheel battle with teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri? And is this a ‘turning point' in their championship fight? McLaren conquered Spielberg and Red Bull walked away with nothing.Climb the ladder with me over on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsIn this more raw race report than usual, there was a lot to unpack despite the leader of the race ultimately remaining the same from qualifying. McLaren's pace was without doubt at the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix as Lando Norris sealed victory. This means that Oscar Piastri's championship advantage is down to 15 points and with Max Verstappen being sent out of the race by Kimi Antontelli, his championship defense looks almost impossible to claw back. Behind him Liam Lawson's flawless one-stop carried Racing Bulls into the constructors fight for sixth while Sauber's upgrades let Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg harass an ailing George Russell and his Mercedes. Ferrari stayed steady with a top-four double finish and shut Red Bull out on home ground. Fernando Alonso's crafty one-stop proved age is only a number as Lance Stroll and Alpine faded, Williams burned through another reliability horror and Yuki Tsunoda's tough weekend summed up Red Bull's worst home race in years, if not ever.
After his disastrous Canadian GP, Norris got the big result he wanted at the Red Bull Ring - but will it prove a genuine turning point in his campaign? And after Ferrari enjoyed one of its strongest races in some time, will the Italian team - with its revised floor - be back in contention more regularly from now on? The team answer those questions, as well as discussing Kimi Antonelli's clumsy take-out of Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda's worrying form, Gabriel Bortoleto's first F1 points, and another strong performance from Esteban Ocon for Haas.

The 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prix is shaping up to be one of the most pivotal races of the season...as long as Max Verstappen can convert yet another win here! Climb the ladder with me on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsWith the spotlight on Max Verstappen seeking a record FIFTH win around the most recent configuration of this track, the pressure is on for Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari to mount a challenge...what a race to go see live! The grid is also buzzing with rumours about Cadillac's driver choices, with Valtteri Bottas making a LITERAL bid for a seat as per the memes! Young talents like Arvid Lindblad, Dino Beganovic and Alex Dunne are making headlines, with big teams testing the latter two in FP1 this weekend. Red Bull's own lineup faces scrutiny as Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson battle to meet expectations, while Isack Hadjar waits in the wings. With hot weather and unpredictable conditions expected throughout the weekend, tyre strategy and potential safety cars could shake up the usual order. My predictions are in for a Verstappen bolt off the line but don't count out George Russell and both McLaren cars of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris to be down and out.#f1 #austriangp #formula1 #f1news #f1latest #formulaone #austriangrandprix #f1predictions #predictions #maxverstappen #redbullracing #mclaren #charlesleclerc #redbull #f12025 #formula12025 #mercedes #lewishamilton #landonoris #mclaren The 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prix Preview & PREDICTIONSMy Predictions for the 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prixhttps://youtu.be/DtlNKkLx5yEJoin the VS Posse today!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKXm93J-6YEUEBs8WlLagrA/join

Isack Hadjar has admitted he wouldn't feel ready at the moment to make the step up to Red Bull Racing, seeing as to how much both of his team-mates this season, Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, have struggled in the car.

Another wild F1 weekend in which Spain shook up the championship...but NOT in the way you thought it would. Climb the ladder with me over on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsMcLaren extended their dominance with a commanding one-two finish, as Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris pulled further ahead in the championship battle while Verstappen's title hopes took a big hit after late-race chaos and a costly penalty. Sauber delivered one of the feelgood stories of the weekend, jumping up the standings thanks to a vintage drive from Nico Hulkenberg and some smart strategy calls, lifting Sauber off the bottom for the first time in over a year! Mercedes showed revived pace as George Russell stormed back into the top five and Charles Leclerc's relentless charge helped Ferrari leap to second in the team standings and back-to-back podiums. Breakout rookie performances from Isack Hadjar and steady points from Pierre Gasly kept things interesting in the midfield, while Fernando Alonso brought the Spanish crowd to their feet by scoring his first points of the season in front of his home fans. Not every team left Barcelona happy. Lance Stroll's absence sparked fresh rumors about his future and Williams unraveled with penalties and damaged front wings, even more than they had expected. No love for Carlos Sainz at his home race. Haas struggled for pace and strategy, while Yuki Tsunoda's tough luck continued despite flashes of speed. Don't miss this full breakdown of every winner and loser from the Spanish Grand Prix.
Did the new technical directive really make headway for anyone in this race? And should the safety car restart have happened earlier? (Pardon the lack of audio punch in Kunal's track!) Before all else, did Max Verstappen deliberately ram into George Russell as the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix came to a conclusion? He received a 10-second time penalty for "causing a collision", but was Verstappen angry at Russell's driving or Red Bull's decision to put him on the hard tyre at the Safety Car restart, or both? But maybe the fans were entertained because they voted for Max Verstappen as the "Driver of the Day" for the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix. At the front, McLaren's Oscar Piastri dominated the race proceedings to score his 5th F1 win of the season. Lando Norris had yet another messy start, while Charles Leclerc ran a different tyre strategy to score yet another podium. Lots of movements in the Drivers' and Constructors' championship after the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix. - Fernando Alonso scored points at home - his first points of the season! He's the 18th driver to score points in 2025. - Isack Hadjar jumps Esteban Oon for 9th- Nico Hulkenberg jumps to 11th in the WDC, ahead of Carlos Sainz. - Pierre Gasly jumps Yuki Tsunoda for 14th. - Ferrari jumps to 2nd place in the Constructors' Championship - 165 points- Mercedes is down to 3rd (159 points), Red Bull Racing are 4th (144 points) - Racing Bulls jumps Haas for 7th place (28 points).- Sauber is up to 8th - up 2 places! However, the grid was dramatically reshaped by multiple penalties, notably Lewis Hamilton's three-place drop due to an "inaccurate radio message" leading to impeding Max Verstappen, and Lance Stroll's cumulative demotion to the very back. Race day saw Norris convert his pole into a commanding victory, marking his first Monaco win and second of the season, contributing to a fantastic double podium for McLaren. The drama continued with early incidents like Gabriel Bortoleto hitting the wall and Pierre Gasly colliding with Yuki Tsunoda, highlighting Monaco's unforgiving nature. Adding to the controversy, George Russell received a drive-through penalty for skipping the Nouvelle Chicane and controversially ignoring team advice to return the position, claiming Alex Albon was driving "erratically". The new mandatory two-pit stop rule also sparked debate, with drivers like Carlos Sainz calling the race "manipulated" and Max Verstappen stating it "didn't do anything" for racing at the front, ultimately shifting chaos to strategic manipulation rather than on-track overtakes. This week on The Auto Action RevLimiter, Andrew Clarke and the crew unpack a wild weekend of motorsport – starting with Max Verstappen's gritty win at Imola. How did McLaren not convert raw pace into victory? Was it strategy, tyre wear… or the problem of having 2 drivers in the fight? Red Bull didn't have that issue – especially after Yuki Tsunoda's monster crash ended his qualifying session early. We also break down the weekend chaos at Imola: Franco Colapinto filled in for Jack Doohan and promptly put it in the wall, Ferrari raced better than they qualified, Aston Martin did the opposite, and Mercedes had a complete shocker.Back home, James Warburton is back at the helm of Supercars – and we reckon that's a good thing. We dig into what it means and what's next. Then it's off to Indy, where Team Penske was slapped with disqualifications at a race they own, in a series it owns. Awkward? Absolutely. But don't be surprised when they come out swinging at the Indy 500 as it targets three-in-a-row.All that plus the latest headlines, hot takes, and news fromaround the racing world. The guys also discuss the fight between Ferrari and Williams, why George Russell was unable to score a podium despite starting P3, and whether this was a turning point for Aston Martin after their best qualifying of the season so far. Plus, you'll hear their thoughts on another points finish for Isack Hadjar, Yuki Tsunoda's recovery from his crash in quali, and Franco Colapinto's debut for Alpine. Franz Hermann aka Max Verstappen showed once again why he's the GOAT of this generation of Formula 1 drivers. Is Red Bull Racing back to being the fastest team in Formula 1? At least in Imola, they were the class of the field. Can this continue for the rest (or most?) of the season? Based on the radio exchanges between Verstappen-GP, Max wanted to win in Imola...but with a large margin. - Max Verstappen's most-classic and cleanest opening lap/Turn 1 move since many races? - Oscar Piastri's bad luck with McLaren's pit stops & timing of the VSC and SC - Lando Norris' podium that didn't feel like a podium! - Yuki Tsunoda's pit lane start to a points finish in 10th If Ferrari start higher up the grid, do they have the pace to win? - Lewis Hamilton's comeback drive, and Charles Leclerc's frustrations. What can Ferrari do to qualify better!? - Alexander Albon's missed podium opportunity, but fantastic battles with Ferrari. Should Albon have battled differently with Leclerc? The Thai-British driver reckoned that he could've challenged Oscar Piastri for the podium! - Leclerc's radio exchanges with Brian Bozzi on the Ferrari pit wall regarding the possibly penalty in his battle with Albon - Carlos Sainz's lost chance due to an early pit stop What a way to bow out for Imola!
