F1 is (ALMOST) BACK after a five-week break… and somehow, it seems as though its returning as a completely different sport with the updated 2026 regulations In this episode of Paddock 43, we break down the FIA's early tweaks to the 2026 F1 rules, from energy management changes and increased power deployment to new race start safety systems and wet weather adjustments. After just three races, F1 is already refining the future of the sport… so will it change much or not? We also unpack the biggest story heading into the Miami GP: can Mercedes maintain their dominance, or is the gap finally closing? With McLaren bringing a new car, Ferrari chasing performance, and Red Bull stuck in the midfield, this could be a turning point in the 2026 season. And finally… it's official. The Turkish Grand Prix is returning to Formula 1 with a confirmed 5-year deal from 2027. We talk about why Istanbul Park is one of the best tracks on the calendar — and what this says about F1's future direction. If you're into Formula 1 news, 2026 regulation changes, F1 rumours, and race analysis, this is the episode for you.

Welcome to the Quick Stop F1 Podcast! Nyasha and Tasha are back with a news roundup from the past week. We have one less driver on the open market, and that is Fernando Alonso, who re-signed with Aston Martin for a multi-year extension. Carlos Sainz and Mercedes rumours are circulating again this week, as allegedly, the contract negotiations between the two parties have hit a stalemate, where seemingly, the Ferrari driver is looking to sign a longer-term deal than what Mercedes is willing to offer at this time—will Carlos find a seat with a team that believes in him as much as he believes in himself? Are Mercedes even the hot seat they once were? After another miserable showing at the Japan GP last weekend, fans were again left dissatisfied upon learning from Toto Wolff, that there were tests being conducted on Lewis Hamilton's car during the race, which contributed to his poor performance, and things are so tense, that even the social media admin is catching smoke for poking fun at the fans earlier this week—this team needs a turnaround in all areas, and fast. The Empire Strikes Back!Had there been any doubt as to the dominance of Red Bull after the Australian GP, the team quickly laid waste to their skeptics. With a 1-2 finish, they re-established the chokehold they have on this season of racing. Yet even with this display of excellence, the Japan GP still gave us a plethora of storylines to dive into this week.We had different tire strategies across multiple teams, with some drivers quickly realizing such strategies left them high and dry. We saw clear winners like Yuki Tsunoda, who continues to prove that he is better than this version of Daniel Ricciardo. To Sergio Perez, who bounced back after a tough week to secure P2. But we also saw clear losers. From the aforementioned Mr. Ricciardo to a Lance Stroll who just can't seem to find the pace in a pretty decent Aston Martin. Tune in and listen to this episode for more of our thoughts and observations of the Japan GP.

Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Japanese Grand Prix that just wrapped up. The Japan Grand Prix arrived swiftly this time around, echoing the theme from last year: can the Red Bull team bounce back from a challenging previous race? As qualifying concluded, both Red Bulls found themselves comfortably positioned in P1 and P2, and during the race, they demonstrated dominance. Once again, the pressure mounted for Daniel Ricciardo to perform, but his race ended abruptly after just the first two corners due to a collision with Alex Albon. With his lacklustre performance in the first four races, Ricciardo finds himself under scrutiny, given the talent at Red Bull. Meanwhile, Yuki continues to impress earning another point; this time in his home race. Following a tumultuous previous race for Williams, issues persisted as Logan Sargeant crashed the car in FP1 and Alex Albon retired due to the collision with Daniel on lap one. With no spare chassis available, they enter China with two cars and no backups. Carlos continues to enjoy a stellar run, showcasing his abilities to all the team principals. The lingering question remains: how long can he sustain this performance, especially when the car isn't the strongest on the track? We have launched our MERCH STORE with some exclusive items. Okay, some cleanup to take care of here first! Firstly, massive thanks to Lyla Oakes who let us use her Marc Marquez x Gresini Concept Art, she's the best and we love her! Also, sincere apologies for the delay on this episode, we had some technical problems cleaning up the audio on the backend, so forgive us - If you're a MotoGP fan, you'll be getting a lot of content in the coming days! In this episode, Dre and Cam make sense of one of the biggest MotoGP rider moves ever as Marc Marquez announced he'd be leaving Honda to head to Gresini and Ducati for 2024. We try to make sense of it from all the possible angles. What does it mean for Marc Marquez after 4 years of hell at Repsol Honda? What about Ducati, do they actually want him long-term or do they still see him as a threat? What about Honda, can they now finally have a rebuild with the lack of pressure behind them? And what about the sport as a whole? We also talk about Japan, and a race that was shortened by torrential rain. Jorge Martin doubled up and got a little lucky to get full points, but it's the first of what we think could be multiple twists in a quickly intriguing title fight. More on that next episode… All that and more on another Motorsport101 episode!

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Japanese Grand Prix.Following a disappointing race in Singapore, the Red Bull team was determined to reclaim their status as the dominant force on the grid. Max Verstappen took it upon himself to send a clear message to everyone in the paddock and the spectators that Red Bull should not be underestimated. On the other hand, Checo Perez endured what we believe was one of the worst races in his career, plagued by damage, unnecessary penalties, and rookie overtaking errors.Nevertheless, Max Verstappen single-handedly propelled Red Bull to the Constructors Championship with his P1 finish and has a chance to secure the Drivers Championship during the upcoming Sprint Race in Qatar. This performance underscores the gap between Max and Checo, raising questions about whether Red Bull will retain this duo in the upcoming season.Oscar Piastri entered the weekend with a clear goal – to secure a podium finish. With the aid of new upgrades, he qualified in P2 and ultimately finished the race in P3. What initially appeared to be a challenging season for McLaren is evolving into one of the most remarkable improvements on the grid. With several races on the horizon, the McLaren car seems well-suited to narrow the gap to Aston Martin and secure P4 in the Constructors' standings.Mercedes took center stage with a captivating battle between their drivers, a situation that could have ended disastrously for the team. Meanwhile, Ferrari had a more low-key weekend but managed to achieve a respectable P4 and P6 finish. All eyes are now fixed on the intense rivalry between Mercedes and Ferrari as they vie for the coveted P2 position in the Constructors' standings. As the Qatar Grand Prix approaches, McLaren aims to maintain their strong performance and secure another podium finish, while Ferrari and Mercedes will be diligently searching for improvements to enhance their performance and compete for that crucial P2 spot.Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing.
