He held off Max Verstappen over the final thirteen laps to win by 0.196 seconds. Verstappen, who started eighth on a fresh power unit, took Driver of the Day for the charge that fell just short.Then there is the lap-30 restart, where four cars ended their afternoons in one corner. Franco Colapinto locked up trying to pass his own teammate Pierre Gasly, hit him, and Gasly collected Lando Norris. Racing Bulls teammates Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson tangled trying to avoid it. Colapinto has since been given a ten-second penalty, converted to a five-place grid drop in Malaysia, with the stewards saying he entered the corner at a speed that did not allow him to make it in a controlled manner.Elsewhere: Isack Hadjar took his first career podium in his first race back after six weeks injured. Kimi Antonelli crashed in Q1, started sixteenth, finished fifth, and extended his championship lead to 66 points. Oscar Piastri ran second and finished fourteenth. La quatorzième manche du championnat du monde de Formule 1 n'a pas été passionnante. Kimi Antonelli a de nouveau conforté sa place de leader après une course où Lando Norris méritait la victoire. Le timing de la voiture de sécurité virtuelle a couté cher au pilote McLaren, pourtant le meilleur pilote du week-end avec la pole. Russell profite du premier abandon de la saison de Lewis Hamilton pour conforter sa deuxième place.Le Madring a montré qu'il était un circuit ennuyeux pour tout le monde (pilotes, spectateurs) et les perspectives d'amélioration sont très minces. Le coup de gueule de Jean-Luc Roy qui n'a pas aimé les choix de pneus de Pirelli qui ont augmenté l'ennui du grand prix. Les deux pilotes français (Ocon et Gasly) pas payés de leurs bonnes courses. Monza amenazaba con ser el gran escaparate de todo lo que no funciona en la Fórmula 1 de 2026. Pero hubo mucho más, tanto, que dejó oculto lo peor de esta temporada para mostrarnos lo mejor. Y de eso queremos hablar esta semana en el primer episodio del Podcast Técnica Fórmula 1. Claro que hubo cosas feas. Rectas larguísimas, poca curva, mucha velocidad punta y el miedo evidente a que el famoso clipping terminara convirtiendo el Gran Premio de Italia en una sucesión de coches quedándose sin energía antes de final de recta. Y algo de eso hubo. Claro que lo hubo. Los coches alcanzaban su velocidad máxima demasiado pronto. La aceleración, en algunos momentos, fue bastante pobre para un circuito como Monza. El Templo de la Velocidad no parecía siempre el templo de la velocidad. Pero, contra lo que se podía temer, el clipping no terminó de arruinar la carrera. La carrera tuvo vida. Y la tuvo, sobre todo, porque Andrea Kimi Antonelli hizo una de esas actuaciones que obligan a mirar dos veces. El italiano ganó en casa saliendo decimonoveno. De 19º a 1º en Monza. La mayor remontada de la historia en este circuito. En su segundo año en Fórmula 1, ante su gente, con la presión de correr en Italia y con el Mundial en juego, Antonelli hizo algo bastante serio. No fue sólo ganar. Fue cómo ganó. Hubo gestión, adelantamientos, lectura de carrera, paciencia y agresividad en el momento justo. Monza no perdona demasiado. Si atacas cuando no toca, te vas largo. Si gastas energía antes de tiempo, te quedas vendido. Si dudas en la frenada, pierdes la oportunidad. Antonelli fue encontrando el equilibrio entre todo eso hasta convertir una carrera que parecía cuesta arriba en una exhibición. Una carrera que “nació rara”. El Gran Premio empezó ya torcido para cualquier guion previsible. Pierre Gasly salía desde la pole, una imagen que nadie esperaba y que dio a la carrera un punto de rareza muy atractivo. Russell se colocó arriba, Leclerc y Hamilton se tocaron en la pelea inicial y el británico cayó hacia atrás. Colapinto llegó a situarse sexto. Verstappen se metió pronto en las luchas. Piastri también apareció. Había carrera. Y luego llegó el golpe de Leclerc. El accidente del Ferrari en la Parabólica, intentando defenderse de Piastri, provocó una bandera roja que cambió el tono del domingo. A partir de ahí, Monza dejó de ser sólo una cuestión de velocidad punta y empezó a ser una carrera de lectura. De entender cuándo atacar, cuándo guardar, cuándo dejar que otro se desgaste y cuándo aprovechar el momento. Antonelli ya era duodécimo en la vuelta 4. Poco después estaba octavo. En la vuelta 7 ya había pasado a Norris. Luego llegaron más adelantamientos, más pelea y esa sensación, cada vez más clara, de que el italiano no estaba simplemente remontando: iba buscando una victoria. No, no es un nuevo Verstappen. La comparación con Verstappen empieza a aparecer demasiado pronto y conviene manejarla con cuidado. No todos los talentos enormes acaban siendo Verstappen. No todos los domingos brillantes anuncian una era. Pero carreras como esta explican por qué Toto Wolff se atreve a pensar en ese tipo de piloto. Antonelli tiene velocidad, sí. Pero empieza a enseñar también algo más difícil: autoridad. El fin de semana dejó otras historias. Gasly perdió el podio de Mónaco por una decisión de la FIA que encendió a Flavio Briatore, siempre dispuesto a convertir una polémica en una escena de ópera. Ferrari tuvo ritmo, pero volvió a quedarse con una sensación de oportunidad perdida. Mercedes salió reforzada, no sólo por el resultado, sino por el golpe emocional de ganar en Italia con un piloto italiano. McLaren estuvo en la pelea, aunque Monza no parecía el lugar más cómodo para medir su mejor versión. Red Bull volvió a vivir de momentos. Aston Martin, por su parte, dejó una imagen mucho peor que en Zandvoort. Fernando Alonso pasó por boxes y abandonó. Hubo gestión artificial, hubo zonas raras y hubo momentos en los que los coches no parecían coches de Fórmula 1 atacando Monza como deberían atacarlo. Pero hubo espectáculo, pelea y emoción. Y, aunque no nos guste mucho esta Fórmula 1 tan artificial, la temporada nos está gustado, y mucho. Antonelli no ganó una carrera cualquiera. Ganó en casa, remontando desde el fondo, en un circuito histórico y en un Mundial que empieza a tener su nombre escrito en letras cada vez más grandes. Es cierto que Monza exagera todo. Een dag nadat de Alpine-coureur zijn podiumplaats in Monaco kwijtraakte, heeft hij in Monza zijn eerste pole in de koningsklasse te pakken. Hij wist onder meer het fabrieksteam van Mercedes te verslaan, al beklaagde George Russell zich vooral over Max Verstappen. Die ging op zijn beurt dan weer uitgebreid in op de achtergronden bij het boordradiobericht dat de Red Bull-auto ‘van papier is gemaakt'. Volgens Verstappen begeven componenten aan de achterkant van de RB22 het soms tijdens het rijden, wat in Oostenrijk tijdens de race is gebeurd en in Italië wederom tijdens de kwalificatie. Silverstone debía ser una de las grandes pruebas de fuego para la Fórmula 1 de 2026. Por historia, por exigencia técnica y por el tipo de curvas que definen la identidad del campeonato. Y lo que dejó el fin de semana fue… algo que se analiza en el primer programa de la semana del Podcast Técnica Fórmula 1. Qué impresión nos dio Silverstone 2026. La verdad es que fue una mezcla extraña: una victoria inesperada y muy valiosa de Charles Leclerc con Ferrari, pero también la sensación de que estos coches siguen teniendo un problema serio para emocionar en los lugares donde la Fórmula 1 debería brillar. El Gran Premio de Gran Bretaña tuvo más interés el domingo de lo que había prometido la sprint. Pero eso no borra el sabor pobre del sábado. La carrera corta fue plana, con más rebases que adelantamientos, y sirvió casi como ensayo general para el resto del fin de semana. Los equipos aprendieron rápido cómo desplegar la energía, cómo defenderse y cómo evitar parte de los errores vistos en la sprint. El domingo, por eso, la carrera fue algo más normal. Lo más doloroso. Pero Silverstone también mostró lo que duele de esta nueva generación de coches. Verlos levantar en zonas como Copse, Maggotts o Becketts resulta difícil de digerir. Son curvas míticas, lugares donde la velocidad y el compromiso del piloto siempre han formado parte del espectáculo. Si ahí los coches tienen que gestionar de forma tan evidente, algo se pierde por el camino. Es cierto que el uso inteligente de la energía empieza a tener interés competitivo. Los pilotos ya no se limitan a apretar un botón y pasar en recta. Hay preparación, lectura, engaño, recuperación y despliegue en el punto elegido. La maniobra de Antonelli sobre Hamilton antes de Copse fue un buen ejemplo: no fue una pelea clásica, pero sí una acción trabajada con inteligencia. Aun así, cuesta no echar de menos otra forma de competir. Ferrari vuelve a verse. En medio de esa sensación ambigua, Ferrari encontró una victoria que no esperaba casi nadie. Leclerc ganó por delante de Russell y Hamilton, en una carrera que pudo haber sido incluso un doblete para la Scuderia. El monegasco necesitaba un resultado así. Después de varias semanas difíciles, con errores, abandonos y una dinámica cada vez más incómoda frente a Hamilton, Silverstone le devolvió algo esencial: autoridad. También se la devolvió a Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton necesitaba una carrera así. Ferrari, también. El Gran Premio de Barcelona-Cataluña dejó la primera victoria del británico vestido de rojo y, con ella, una de las grandes preguntas de la temporada. ¿Seremos capaces de responderla esta semana en el Podcast Técnica Fórmula 1?. La pregunta del millón. Y es que todos nos estamos preguntando si lo ocurrido en Montmeló fue una excepción favorecida por la estrategia o el primer síntoma de que la Scuderia ha encontrado por fin el camino para competir de tú a tú con Mercedes. La carrera tuvo más de lo que suele prometer Barcelona. Hubo estrategia, adelantamientos, luchas internas, cambios de guion y una tensión creciente en Mercedes que terminó desdibujando el dominio que el equipo alemán había mostrado durante buena parte del inicio de campeonato. Hamilton ganó con autoridad, marcó la vuelta rápida y fue el piloto más consistente cuando la prueba entró en su fase decisiva. La clasificación, una pista. La clasificación ya había dejado una pista de lo apretado que estaba todo. George Russell logró la pole por apenas unas milésimas sobre Hamilton, con Kimi Antonelli tercero. Mercedes parecía tener la situación controlada, pero la carrera mostró una realidad más compleja. Russell salió bien, Antonelli también, y Ferrari no encontró en los primeros metros la ventaja que podía esperarse de su unidad de potencia (y ese turbo chiquito). Pero el domingo no se decidió en la salida. El primer tramo pareció favorecer a Russell, que con neumático medio conseguía distanciarse de Hamilton, montado sobre el blando. Después, sin embargo, la tendencia cambió. Hamilton empezó a ganar terreno, el Ferrari mostró un ritmo cada vez más sólido y la gestión estratégica de Maranello terminó siendo mucho más eficaz que la de Mercedes. La duda es si se trató de aire limpio, de mejor lectura de carrera o, sencillamente, de que Ferrari tenía más ritmo. Ferrari comienza la estrategia. La parada temprana de Hamilton, en la vuelta 12, fue uno de los primeros movimientos importantes. Mercedes respondió una vuelta después con Russell, pero si la carrera estaba planteada a dos paradas, la maniobra dejaba dudas. La sensación fue que Ferrari empezaba a mover la carrera mientras Mercedes aún no tenía claro si debía defenderse o seguir a su propio ritmo. El momento clave llegó más adelante. Hamilton volvió a parar en la vuelta 28 y comenzó a remontar con claridad. Mientras tanto, los Mercedes seguían en pista, rodando más lentos y perdiendo tiempo. En la vuelta 31 empezó además el conflicto interno: Antonelli se acercaba a Russell y amenazaba con atacar a su compañero justo cuando Hamilton venía lanzado. Mercedes terminó reaccionando tarde. Russell paró en la vuelta 37 y Antonelli en la 38, ambos ya por detrás de Hamilton. El británico, con aire limpio, empezó entonces a construir la victoria. La aparición del coche de seguridad virtual en la vuelta 41, provocada por el abandono de Fernando Alonso en la curva 9, terminó de consolidar la posición del Ferrari, que paró y regresó a pista por delante de los Mercedes. Hubo una pizca de fortuna, sí. Pero reducir la victoria de Hamilton al VSC sería injusto. Antes de ese momento, el Ferrari ya estaba en la carrera. Y después, Hamilton no se limitó a conservar una ventaja heredada: la convirtió en una victoria sólida. Fue el más rápido cuando debía serlo y Ferrari ejecutó mejor que Mercedes. Otra pregunta que nos hacemos. La otra gran pregunta es si Ferrari le ha dado por fin a Hamilton el coche que necesitaba. Durante las primeras carreras, la sensación era que el monoplaza seguía siendo demasiado específico, quizá más adaptado a Leclerc que al británico. En Barcelona, en cambio, Hamilton pareció cómodo, agresivo y capaz de sacar rendimiento tanto en tanda como en aire limpio. Y hay una lectura más, que afecta directamente al campeonato. Barcelona es uno de los circuitos más completos del calendario, una pista que exige mucho al coche: carga, tracción, gestión de neumáticos, estabilidad en curva rápida y ritmo sostenido. Si Ferrari ha sido capaz de tener incluso mejor ritmo de carrera que Mercedes en Montmeló, el dominio alemán ya no parece tan sólido. Mercedes dejó señales preocupantes. Antonelli volvió a dar un golpe sobre la mesa antes de abandonar. El italiano presionó a Russell durante buena parte de la carrera y terminó superándole en pista antes de quedarse parado en la vuelta 62. El abandono maquilló una realidad incómoda: sin el fallo mecánico, Antonelli habría doblegado a su compañero de forma contundente. Por otro lado, la fiabilidad empieza a ser un problema. Mercedes perdió a Antonelli, Ferrari también vio abandonar a Leclerc y la carrera acumuló siete abandonos. En una Fórmula 1 nueva, con coches todavía en fase de comprensión y desarrollo, terminar las carreras también empieza a tener un valor estratégico. El mejor coche no sirve de mucho si no llega al final. Por detrás, Lando Norris completó el podio para McLaren, mientras Max Verstappen terminó cuarto con un Red Bull que sigue lejos de dominar, pero siempre aparece en posiciones importantes. Y ahí estuvo Hadjar también en zona de puntos Oscar Piastri fue quinto y los Racing Bulls volvieron a sumar con Lawson y Lindblad, mientras Alpine colocó a Gasly séptimo y a Colapinto décimo, confirmando que la zona media sigue muy viva. Barcelona, mucho más de lo prometido. Barcelona dejó una carrera más entretenida de lo esperado y una conclusión que puede cambiar el tono del campeonato: Hamilton ha ganado con Ferrari. Antonelli sigue creciendo incluso cuando la fiabilidad le frena. Mercedes ya no parece intocable. Y Ferrari, por primera vez en mucho tiempo, puede mirar a la referencia de frente y preguntarse si el coche que necesitaba ya está ahí.
