Boomer is anticipating the NFL draft on Thursday and the subsequent Friday show covering both the draft and Knicks/Pistons Game 3, following the Knicks' Game 2 loss which tied the series 1-1, a series Gio feels has been competitive and physical, though the Knicks are slightly underperforming. Jerry's final update led with audio of the Knicks' loss. "Inside The NBA" apologized for falsely reporting someone's death. Thibs was frustrated by perceived officiating disparities favoring the Pistons. The Mets defeated the Phillies with Francisco Lindor hitting two more home runs, while Clarke Schmidt allowed consecutive home runs in the Yankees' loss. An Eagles WR had his car stolen in Philadelphia. The Moment of the Day highlighted the Clippers' play-by-play announcer's voice. The show concluded with a discussion about the chilly weather expected for the NFL draft in Green Bay.
Hour 1 The Knicks suffered a disappointing Game 2 loss to the Pistons, which Gio describes as "off and weird". Boomer believes OG Anunoby was frustrated by a lack of late-game touches. Gio criticized Thibs for blaming officials and called a potential series loss "pathetic." Jerry's update began with the sounds of the Knicks' defeat at MSG, where Thibs cited rebounding as the key difference. Meanwhile, the Mets beat the Phillies with Francisco Lindor hitting two more home runs, and Jesse Winker also homered, noting the home crowd's impact. The Yankees lost to Cleveland after Clarke Schmidt allowed consecutive home runs. Russell Wilson's press conference focused on himself, while Jets GM Darren Mougey avoided discussing Aaron Rodgers. The hour concluded with a discussion on how the Pistons' strategic play forced the Knicks to adapt. Hour 2 Gio feels Karl-Anthony Towns doesn't embody the superstar mentality, lacking visible disappointment or fire. Boomer countered that Towns simply had an off night and couldn't find his rhythm. Before Jerry's update, Gio expressed disbelief at people falling for fake Adam Schefter reports on X. Jerry's update featured Mike Breen's call of the Knicks' Game 2 loss, with Thibs discussing the need to win differently. They then played a clip of the Clippers' play-by-play announcer, whom they found unauthentic, and mentioned Shaq abruptly leaving the set due to olive oil consumption. Mavericks GM Nico Harrison stated he underestimated Luka's importance to fans. Jazz Chisholm homered in their loss to Cleveland, while the Mets defeated the Phillies, with Jesse Winker and Lindor hitting home runs, improving their home record to 10-1. Jalen Milroe discussed his relationship with Malik Nabers on Kay Adams' show. Gio expressed enthusiasm for the Giants potentially drafting Jalen Milroe with their second pick, citing Todd McShay's assessment of him as the best running quarterback prospect ever evaluated. Hour 3 The Mets are thriving at home, drawing large crowds and benefiting from outstanding pitching. Jesse Winker highlighted the home-field advantage. Boomer joked they won't need Grimace this year. Gio jokingly blamed Fat Joe's presence at the Knicks game for their loss, citing a "Fat Joe curse." Jerry's update began with the Knicks' Game 2 defeat at the Garden, where Coach Thibs criticized the foul shot disparity. Charles Barkley advised Mavs GM Nico Harrison to stop doing press conferences. The Yankees lost to Cleveland after Clarke Schmidt gave up consecutive home runs. The Mets beat the Phillies, though Edwin Diaz made it tense, with Carlos Mendoza commenting on his performance. Jalen Milroe addressed potentially joining the Giants QB room. The hour concluded with Jared from Audacy's digital department discussing strategies to increase YouTube viewership for Al & Jerry's Postgame Podcast. Hour 4 Boomer is anticipating the NFL draft on Thursday and the subsequent Friday show covering both the draft and Knicks/Pistons Game 3, following the Knicks' Game 2 loss which tied the series 1-1, a series Gio feels has been competitive and physical, though the Knicks are slightly underperforming. Jerry's final update led with audio of the Knicks' loss. "Inside The NBA" apologized for falsely reporting someone's death. (24:04-42:06) – Pacers beat writer, Dustin Dopirak, from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to recap last night’s win for the Pacers over the Bucks. Dustin talks about the way he believes that the team will handle Tyrese Haliburton moving forward with his hip injury, assesses whether T.J. McConnell will start getting some rest the rest of the season, and then notes that Indiana really could have blown out Milwaukee if they made some of the wide open threes they missed. (42:06-46:32) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in April! Negotiations, talent, agents, contracts: It's not fun, but a necessary part of the business. Stephen A. Smith is currently in talks for a new mega contract with ESPN. How is this getting worked out? The College Football Playoff is almost set and it's come with drama. The four-team playoff was a mess and it's out. The 12-team was supposed to be the best and of course it finds itself in more drama. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Hour 1 The Jets have fired GM Joe Douglas. Boomer said he went back and looked at the tape of Aaron Rodgers and he believes he has a left leg injury. A knee or hamstring. There is a detailed article in The Athletic about Douglas being fired and it seems that Woody Johnson has not allowed him to really do his job. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first Boomer said The Warm Up Show between Al & Jerry was very heated today. Jerry never actually got to his topic. We just rehashed what happened between Al & Jerry on whether you want your team to win a championship and suck for years, or be competitive every year without winning a championship. In the final segment of the hour, former NY Daily News reporter Manish Mehta either purposely or accidentally put out Joe Douglas' number on X. Hour 2 Dexter Lawrence was asked about Daniel Jones benching and he didn't quite understand it. He did say Jones was his best friend, so he is going to defend him. Other players feel it was a money decision by the Giants. Boomer said they are starting Tommy DeVito to give something to the fans. Both the Jets and Giants are going to need quarterbacks next season, assuming Rodgers isn't back with the Jets. Boomer also wonders if Rodgers will say he's too injured to play the rest of this season. If the owner is pulling the rip cord on the season, why should Rodgers tough it out? Jerry returns for an update and starts with Todd McShay saying Joe Douglas will be fine, the Jets will not. McShay said it's an ownership problem. Shedeur Sanders was asked by his podcast co-host and teammate about going to the Giants. Gio wonders if John Mara would want that circus. Michael Irvin said Deion and Shedeur would go to the Cowboys together. Gio said Mara likes Huckleberry Finn as a quarterback. In the final segment of the hour, Gio and his wife go to separate rooms to watch TV at night because they want to watch 2 different things. Gio said there is a new season of 1,000 Pound Sisters that they watch together. Hour 3 Phil Simms joins us on the phone in his weekly spot. Boomer asks him what Aaron Rodgers' opinion of this Joe Douglas situation will be. Boomer said the Jets need a big personality as head coach, how would Jon Gruden work with the Jets? We got Phil's thoughts on Tommy DeVito getting the start this week. Phil seems to like QB Carson Beck of Georgia. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer has a coaching candidate for two years from now. Defensive Coordinator of the Chargers, Jesse Minter. Jerry starts with Kevin Stefanski talking about outside noise being the head coach of the Browns. Stephen A. Smith is worried about Jerry Jones and compares him to Joe Biden. Micah Parsons said of the Cowboys, ‘we're a damn good football team'. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Army vs Notre Dame Saturday night at Yankee Stadium. Boomer said it would be a tall order for Army to win. Hour 4 We recapped the disaster the Jets are after firing Joe Douglas. This, after firing Rob Saleh and Aaron Rodgers being a terrible quarterback this season. Woody Johnson went all in but then started making decisions on his own. We talked about Tommy DeVito getting the start on Sunday in front of the home crowd. They had to give the fans something to look forward to. They haven't won a home game yet this season. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and Mark Schlereth cannot believe the Giants bypassed Drew Lock to go to Tommy DeVito. Shedeur Sanders sounds like he's not against being drafted by the Giants. Charles Barkley reacted to Inside The NBA moving to ESPN. The Moment of The Day: Everyone is annoyed at everyone on the show. In the final segment of the show, there are 25 players among the finalists for the NFL Hall of Fame including Eli Manning. We also talked about the McDonald's Arch Burger from way back when.

(1:50:35-2:00:22) – After discussing animals at the end of last segment, Jake continues asking questions about animals.
