The Boston Celtics did battle with the Philadelphia 76ers for the 3rd and final time in the 2020-2021 NBA Regular Season. This would be the 1st time this season the Celtics would play the 76ers with all of their main stars available as in the previous 2 meetings the Celtics had to play without the services of Jayson Tatum but they did still have Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart in both of the first 2 matchups. After losing the first 2 matchups by a combined 20 points the Celtics would go into this game knowing it would be their last chance to prove to their fanbase they can beat this years verson of Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers. However despite movie being filmed in a new location with some new supporting stars the main stars for Philly again outshined the main stars for Boston in this 3rd and final matchup as the 76ers were victorious 106-96 in a game that saw the 76ers outscore the Celtics by 13 points at the free throw line as the 76ers took more then double the free throws that the Cetics took as the 76ers took 39 free throws making 29 of them while the Celtics took only 18 free throws making 16. So now how should Celtics fans feel about the Celtics. When looking at the 3 main teams in the Eastern Conference in the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks the Celtics are now 2-6 having lost all 3 games to the 76ers with no more matchups to go, winning the season series over the Milwaukee Bucks with 2 wins to 1 loss, then the Celtics have 1 more game to go with the Nets having lost both games already this season. So with Bobby Krivitsky we will discuss the last week of Boston Celtics action including that loss to the 76ers and discuss where the Celtics now stand in the Eastern Conference and if it may just be time for fans to accept that we are likely headed for the play in tournament rather then a top 4 seed in the East
Sports fans around the country continue to sit and wait for the return of their sports as the Country continues to battle the Coronavirus. However despite games not being played that doesnt mean news for the NBA has stopped completely. On tondays show we will discuss what the latest reports are in regards to what the NBA league executives, owners and players are discussing in regards to the 2019/2020 season either being restarted again or just simply being canceled all together allowing everyone to just set their sights on October for the start of the 2020/2021 season. However for Celtics fans that has not been the only story that has been worth following in the last month. As the NBA announced the newest class for the NBA Hall of Fame with former Celtics big man Kevin Garnett being 1 of the top guys on the list alongside former San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan and the recently deceased LA Laker star Kobe Bryant. So with the news of KG's induction into the hall of fame plus his jersey number retirement scheduled for next season in Boston. A lot of talk has been made of who would join KG for these celebrations other then his family. Celtics legend Cedric Maxwell did an interview with former Celtics guard Ray Allen who teamed with Kevin Garnet and former Celtics captain Paul Pierce for 5 years winning 1 Championship about the chances of him joining the guest list for Kevin Garnetts celebrations. The interview sparked debate between Celtics fans as the issues with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett are a well known story in the NBA World and fans are torn on whos side to take. So we will ask out guest Kevin Dixon of N The Zone Sports Radio and Bobby Krivitsky of Bleacher Report for their thoughts on the situation and find out whos side are they on KG's or Ray Allens. We will also have the audios for you to hear what Ray Allen had to say about how hes been treated since leaving Boston

Bobby Krivitsky and Taylor Kyles discuss everyone from Bill Belichick to Joejuan Williams while dissecting New England's stunning Week 17 loss to Miami. Taylor and Bobby also discuss the Dolphins' surprising decision to fire Chad O'Shea and compared it to Josh McDaniels returning in 2011.
The manager of Bleeding Green Nation Radio, Michael Kist, who's also a host and producer for BGN Radio and a writer for bleedinggreennation.com, joins Bobby Krivitsky and Taylor Kyles to discuss everything from who the Patriots will build their game plan around to the Eagles' philosophical approaches on both sides of the ball, whether the Patriots should frequently play uptempo, like they did against the Ravens; how Philadelphia will attack Jamie Collins on one side of the ball and Marshall Newhouse on the other; and a whole lot more.
Krivitsky & Kyles took advantage of the Patriots' bye week to evolve into what will henceforth be known as Patriots Perspective. In the first episode under their new moniker, Bobby Krivitsky and Taylor Kyles were joined by Brandon Thorn, who is an offensive and defensive line analyst for Establish The Run, to evaluate the Patriots' strengths and weaknesses in the trenches; how New England's offensive line may be able to find success against the Eagles' vaunted defensive line; what the Patriots' approach should be against arguably the best offensive line in the NFL; and a whole lot more.

The Celtics are back from the All-Star break. Kyrie Irving participated in the All-Star Game while Jayson Tatum went with competed in and won the NBA Skills Competition. The Celtics returned from the break with a tough 5 game stretch in front of them. They started off with a road game against the best team in the Eastern Conference in the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics and Bucks both appeared rusty but the Celtics did give the Bucks a run for their money losing 98-97. The Celtics did have a chance to win the game on the final possession however 2 fouls commited by the Bucks were not called by the officials and the Celtics would come up short as Irving would miss the game winner after being fouled on the shot. A few nights later the Celtics would take on and lose to the Chicago Bulls in Chicago in a game that saw the Celtics effort called into question. A couple nights later the Celtics would be in Toronto looking to snap their 2 game skid and win the season series against the Raptors. However the Celtics would once again come up with a lackluster performance just as they did against the Bulls a few nights earlier this time however the fell behind by as much as 30 points in route to their 118-95 loss. The Celtics would have no time to sob over the loss as they would have to travel back to Boston to take on the Trailblazers the following night. The Celtics put up a much better fight against the Blazers but once again came up short losing their 4th in a row. The Celtics then defeated the Wizards a few nights later to snap the streak. We will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky of Bleacher Report, Michael D McClellan of Celtics Nation and Todd Smith of TSJ101 Sports. We will discuss the standings and what is the most realistic spot for the Celtics for the playoffs. In what bracket should the Celtics aim to get into when it comes to the possible 2nd round matchup Milwaukee or Toronto. Also is Kyrie Irving showing the right mindset by being too confident
The Celtics are nearing the halfway mark of the NBA Season. They are now at 33 games played this season and the Celtics got to do battle with Gordon Haywards former team the Utah Jazz. The Celtics after starting the season off with some big time victories over some of the top teams in the NBA have now begun to have the weight of their schedule and injuries play a role in causing the Celtics to lose to some of the worst teams in the league. The Celtics to this point have played the most game of any team in the NBA season to this point. The Celtics of course thanks to the injury to Gordon Hayward have not played a single game this season with the entire roster intact and it has only gotten worse as the season has continued to progress. With injuries to big men Marcus Morris and Al Horford, 2nd year Forward Jaylen Brown and All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving to name a few the team has struggled since our last show to find an offensive groove in particular the bench as the team has been forced to play several games without some of their key players and it has cost them games against teams like the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz. The Celtics Talk Crew will discuss the latest on the injury front including what the team says its doing to try and deal with Marcus Morris recovery from a knee injury. Also whats the latest on Gordon Haywards recovery is it looking more likely that he could be back this season and whats his thoughts on the possibility we will discuss that and the last 3 games and if fans should worry about the teams recent trend or hold on pushing the panic button. We will be joined by 2 of CLNS Radios key contributors Bobby Krivitsky and 1st time guest Josue Pavon on this edition of Celtics Talk Radio
The highly anticipated Opening Night matchup between the Boston Celtics and the defending Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers has come and gone. The opening night matchup was our chance to see how much the Celtics have closed the gap on the Cavaliers for the best team in the Eastern Conference and the game lived up to the hype as the Celtics managed to put up a fight down in Cleveland however the game was overshadowed by an event that occured just over 5 minutes into the 1st quarter. Gordon Hayward suffered an injury to his left going for an alley oop pass. Hayward had contact made as he was in the air by both Lebron James and Jae Crowder this resulted in Hayward coming down awkwardly on his left leg resulting in him suffering a fractured ankle and a broken tibia according to the team doctors from both the Cavs and Celtics who worked to attend to him. Hayward would then be flown to Boston where the very next night he would go into surgery. The Celtics would go on to lose that game by just 3 points despite having to adjust on the fly to a new rotation. The next night the Celtics would be forced to go into action against the Milwaukee Bucks playing their season opener this game taking place in the TD Garden in Boston. The Celtics would go into playing this game while knowing Gordon Hayward would being going into surgery at any moment. Gordon Hayward did make a surprise appearance for the fans on the jumbotron giving a message from his hospital bed before going into surgery which got the fans to give a loud ovation however the Celtics would lose this game also as the new starting lineup seemed to have issues working together knowing they had to try and adjust in less then 24 hours and play a well rested Bucks team. The team would pick up their first win 2 nights later over the 76ers down in Philly but had to do with without Marcus Smart and Marcus Morris. We will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky and discuss the first 3 games of the season.
Its July 1st which means its time for the NBA Free Agency Games to begin. The Boston Celtics are primed for some upgrades to the roster as they have the option to sign a max free agent or split up that max contract and sign some decent players who can help the team in much needed areas. For the past few weeks the Celtics have been involved in rumors to land Utah Jazz SF Gordon Hayward in the free agency frenzy. The Celtics have also been listed as one of several teams to land Indiana Pacers SF Paul George who has been put on the trade market due to him informing the Pacers he will not return to the team after his contract expires after the 2017/18 season. The Celtics were forced into a position where in order to get both Hayward and Paul George to the team the Celtics would need to sign Gordon Hayward first then trade for Paul George meaning the Pacers would need to wait to get the Celtics to deal with them and know that there was a chance the Celtics could back out if Hayward chose to go elsewhere. The Pacers opted to send Paul George to OKC and took back a package featuring 2 players only a package that was way lower then what the Celtics reportedly offered. So since players were allowed to agree to new contracts starting 19 hours ago whats the latest. Whats being reported in regards to Gordon Hayward and the teams trying to get him. Now that Paul George is gone what should be Danny Ainges next plan seeing that the 2 names he has tried to trade for in George and Jimmy Butler have now both been sent to the Western Conference. Will Ainge leave the Celtics fans without the fireworks once again like he did last summer or will he pull through or will he say I am gonna postpone the firework show for another year. The Celtics Talk Crew will debate alongside Bobby Krivitsky
The Celtics and Cavs have played games 1 and 2 of their best 4 out of 7 Eastern Conference Finals playoff series. The Cavs have dominated the Celtics in those 2 games and now lead the Eastern Conference Finals 2 games to 0. Both games saw the Cavs literally go up by over 30 points and end the game pretty much before the 4th quarter even arrived. Pretty much both games were a beatdown dealt by the Cavs. The Celtics fans now wait for what may be the most likely result which is for games 3 and 4 just to end and the series to end in a series sweep for Lebron and the Cavs. The Celtics on top of being at a major disadvantage in the series talent wise have also been at the disadvantage with the officiating as well. This led to frustrations for the Celtics taking place in game 2 where Isaiah Thomas and Brad Stevens were both T'd up for complaining about the fouls situation as Thomas was not getting any calls in his favor and it ultimately led to him suffering an injury in the 2nd quarter of game 2 and he was not able to return for the remainder of the game. Now the series shifts to Cleveland for games 3 and 4. We will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky of the PatriotsBeat as we discuss what happened and how should Celtics Fans feel. Many feel that the Celtics accomplishment of winning 2 rounds should be thrown out due to the way things have gone vs the Cavs. Others feel since no one was gonna beat the Cavs come playoff time the fact the Celtics were the final team standing in front of them in round 3 when many felt the Celtics wouldnt even be able to get past round 1 makes it a successful season. So who does Bobby side with in that debate
The Boston Celtics have played their first 2 preseason games since the last show. The Celtics Talk Crew came live to you on 10/3 just 24 hours before the 2016/17 Boston Celtics team was gonna have their first action. The Celtics started the preseason by taking on the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday October 4th. The Celtics lost that game 92-89 to start 0-1 on the preseason. The game featured the Celtics starting the game off with a lineup of Isaiah Thomas PG, Avery Bradley SG, Jae Crowder SF, Amir Johnson PF, and Al Horford C. The starters managed to outscore their Philadelphia counterparts 41-36. However the Celtics bench didn't look that great as they blew a double digit lead that the starters had gotten for them. Then 2 nights later the Celtics took on the Charlotte Hornets in a game where they would win 107-92. This game featured the Celtics starters giving the bench a slim lead once they took over in the 1st quarter. The Celtics bench would increase the lead to a 22-14 edge but then lost it as the Hornets would score 9 straight to take the lead 23-22 with just under 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter and the Celtics would continue to trail all the way to the 10:04 mark of the 3rd quarter. The Celtics would use the 3rd quarter to not only retake the lead but blow the game open as they used a 30-4 run over the first 7:59 of the quarter to go from being down 51-44 to leading 74-55 and it was smooth sailing from there. So we will recap those 2 games as we are joined by Bobby Krivitsky and he will give us his thoughts on what we have seen through the first 2 games.
It's July 1st which means the complete chaos online know as NBA Free Agency has begun. The Celtic's finished this past season tied for the 3rd best record in the Eastern Conference with the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat at 48-34. The Celtics managed to get some big time wins this season which included a win over the the Golden State Warriors to snap the Warriors 54 game home winning streak. A win in Cleveland over Lebron James and the Cavaliers. Sweeping Dwayne Wade and the Heat in the season series 3-0. Now the Celtics hope that this will get them some recognition from the big name players who will hit the free agent market and look to see where they should play next season. The Celtic's have already been linked to several players including Kevin Durant and Al Horford. Free Agency began this morning at 12:01 Eastern Time. Some players may have already given teams their word to sign with them. So the question now is. Can Danny Ainge and the Celtics knowing they got the key guys from last years team still under team control with plenty of money to spend still. Can they get any superstar talent to come to beantown and help them try and win banner 18. The Celtics Talk Crew will break down any news that has come within the last 19 hours since Free Agency began and give you the latest salary cap numbers and free agency rumors. Bobby Krivitsky of Patriots Beat will join us to discuss what has happened in the first 19 hours of NBA Free Agency in terms of player signings and what has been reported as possibly happening on the Celtics end of things

The final full month of the 2014/15 Boston Celtic schedule is here. The Celtics are in the midst of a highly congested playoff race which features 6 teams fighting for the 7th and 8th seeds in the Easter Conference. The Celtics, Nets, Heat, Pistons, Pacers and Hornets all sat within 2.5 games of each other when the Celtics Talk Crew was last on the air on February 26th. Since that time the Celtics played 4 games 3 of which took place at TD Garden. They hosted the Hornets then played at the Cavaliers. Then hosted the Warriors and the Jazz. 2 of those games were against the teams many feel will be facing off against one another in thi years NBA Final's. So how did the Celtics stack up against the 2 teams many feel are the NBA'S best. Did the Celtics draw closer to the 7th and 8th seed or did they fall farther behind the pack. What did we see from Isaiah Thomas and Jonas Jerebko in what was arguably the 2 biggest games in their short stints with the Celtic's. The Celtics Talk Crew will discuss that and all the other latest news from the Boston Celtic's. On this episode they will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky. Bobby is a writer and editor for CLNS Radio and Hardwood Houdini. On-Air Personality & Producer for Citrus TV and Z89 Radio
Its decision week in the NFL as the Patriots and other NFL teams get ready for the New League Year. The Patriots have used the franchise tag on Kicker Stephen Gostkowski. Safety Devin McCourty is set to bean unrestricted free agent if a new contract is not signed before 4pm on March 10th. Where do the Patriots and the representatives for star corner back Darrelle Revis stand in there negotiations? Jeff Kane and Bobby Krivitsky break down that and more. Including the luck the Patriots have had in kickers since Adam Vinatieri was brought on in 1996. Could James White fill the void of a Shane Vereen departure or does the team need to lookat a player like Reggie Bush, who both Brain Daboll and Dave DeGuglielmo know well. Will Malcolm Butler be able to rise up the ranks next season and will he be known for more than just his Surper Bowl play. Does his assention, mean that Brandon Browner could be a cap casualty as he is due a roster bonus to start the league year. What will happen with Vince Wilfork, Jeff thinks he's a cap casualty while Bobby is looking for hope in a restructuring. What about Danny Amendola, is he on the outs? Could a player like Josh Boyce take his place? Why is Brian Tyms looked at with such lust by Patriots Nation, while Aaron Dobson is looked at like a bust. All this and more one Patriots Beat
