Catch Ups In My Kitchen

This week I am joined by Bethan Higson, Founder of Mother Root, who has created a magical, punchy, delicious and surprisingly healthy non-alcoholic drink, which is made using Apple Cider Vinegar.A combination of Bethan's background in wine and champagne crossed with her being "pregnant and thirsty" yet disappointed with the options available, brought her to discover that New York bartenders had been recently experimenting with adding different vinegars to their cocktails in order to create another dimension to the flavour profile. This then inspired Bethan to start experimenting in her kitchen in order to find the perfect drink that she could have whilst pregnant and during the early years of Motherhood. Through taking her experience in wine, champagne and aperitifs Bethan started layering up flavours and balancing the different tones which created this complex yet delicious drink which although consisted of no alcohol had the sharpness and mouth feel of an alcoholic drink due to the vinegar element. Bethan couldn't gate-keep this delicious recipe and so Mother Root was born in order to bring another, completely innovative drink option to the now expanding non-alcoholic market. As well as being a delicious drink, Mother Root has also been picked up amongst nutritionists and health experts due to the powers and benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar which is the main ingredient. So not only do these drinks taste amazing, but they consist of so many health benefits such as being anti-inflammatory, lowering your blood sugar levels and supporting your gut health. This episode is so fascinating and just pushes the boundaries of what is possible within the food and drink space.Bethan and I discuss the following topics:Her journey to Mother RootHer previous work within the wine industryHow wine has inspired the Mother Root recipe Her obsession with sour Taste vs FlavourDrinking alcohol and the mouthfeel it createsThe power of Apple Cider VinegarBethans relationship with drinking now Balancing being a mother and a founder This episode is hosted by Georgia Symonds and produced by Maisie Peppitt Hosted on Acast. “One of the ways that you could discover whether SEO is the right channel for the business that you're working with is basically understanding two questions. First, are the potential customers of your business actually aware of the problem your business is solving? And if so, where are they actually looking to solve that problem?”Hello hello! For episode 81 of the Flying Cat Marketing podcast, we spoke with Farzad Rashidi, Lead Innovator at Respona and former Director of Marketing at Visme. He gave us the company's exclusive SEO formula, the same one that was used at Visme to help them reach 14 million users and 3 million monthly organic traffic. Farzad broke down this keyword prioritization formula, which is calculated using CPC, traffic potential, and keyword difficulty. He also explained the three types of content they publish at Respona and Visme: content for SEO purposes, link content, and conversion content. Plus, he explained how the company distributes its marketing efforts: according to Farzad, teams should be devoting 20% of their time to content creation and 80% to content promotion. Farzad explains why this approach was crucial for helping Visme achieve its success. This is just part one of two of Farzad's interviews. In the next installment, we'll be picking his brain about off-page SEO and link building. But for now, tune in to learn how to build a solid SEO content creation and distribution strategy and determine whether SEO is the right channel for your business. In this episode: How to know if you should prioritize SEO as a marketing channelThe “Opportunity Score” formula for keyword prioritizationThe three types of SEO content the Respona team createsThe importance of off-page SEO for an overall content strategyThe balance you should strike between content creation and distributionAbout the guestFarzad Rashidi is the lead innovator at Respona, the all-in-one link-building outreach software that helps businesses increase their organic traffic from Google. The development of the Integral framework in my practice has allowed me to look at individual situations and challenges in a unique way that accounts for all aspects of a person and how that might be impacting on their health and well-being. This also gives us a much broader scope of possible solutions to each individual scenario. Regardless of the route you take to come and see me, whether it is via Kinesiology, Bowen Technique, Allergy Testing, Access Bars, NLP, Qigong; the integral framework will be applied in supporting you and recognising all the possible measures that can be taken to help you reach your desired outcome. There is always something that can be done to improve any situation, whether that is a physical adjustment for pain relief, a nutrition change for improved biochemical function, a change in mindset or beliefs to change our perspective on a situation and it's impact on our life. What never ceases to amaze me is how important and relevant these small and simple changes can be. So even if your problem seems bigger than you can cope with, be encouraged to make small changes and watch the cumulative benefits begin. After all you are the sum total of all you have and haven't done, so you got to where you are partly because some of what you do doesn't support you and some does.
