Coaches, I started the PT Profit Podcast in June 2020 after I kept telling my clients, "You need to get on a podcast! Go out and promote yourself on a podcast!" Ultimately, I wanted to give my clients a platform to share their exciting programs and a resource for them to continue learning because if you're hanging out with me, chances are you are interested in messaging and excited about the science of training. I also want to thank all of you for being part of this amazing journey. I thought the most fitting way to celebrate this milestone on the PT Profit Podcast would be to give an inside look at the PT Profit Formula itself. Today, three of my clients are joining me to talk about their fitness journeys and how the PT Profit Formula's group coaching program has impacted their business. Solana Lewis, Crystal Thomas, and Dhana Harrelson share their thoughts on how valuable the community setting has become to them. They also shared what they learned and discoveries they made about themselves and their businesses. I also get to catch up with them about their lives after they completed the initial program and what new goals they've set for themselves. In today's milestone 100th episode, you'll hear:- The importance and the value of community.- Two commonly asked questions.- A first-hand account from coaches who went through the PT Profit Formula program. Don't forget to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts. Join the Facebook community! Are you a new fitness entrepreneur looking to attract clients? Maybe you're looking to dial in your messaging? Orlando City added yet another quality attacking piece to the roster on Tuesday, officially signing Silvester van der Water from Heracles Almelo of the Dutch Eredivisie. The Lions locked up van der Water for three years with a club option and we’re here to talk about what it means for the roster and potential starting lineups. We also discussed the two Lions who were named to the preliminary USMNT U-23 side that will attempt to qualify for the Olympics and one that wasn’t picked. And a former Orlando City draft pick has a new team in USL League One. The Lions weren’t the only team under the club’s umbrella that signed a player on Tuesday. The Orlando Pride added veteran forward Crystal Thomas to add depth to the attacking line. We’ll talk about why the signing of the former Washington Spirit player is a good one for Marc Skinner’s side. The SheBelieves Cup has just one match day left at Exploria Stadium and it appears the USWNT has done about enough to take home the trophy again. Argentina stands in the Yanks’ way tonight and on the undercard Brazil and Canada will square off to try to stay in contention should the U.S. falter. We break down the tournament so far. Speaking of Exploria Stadium, the Canadian Men’s National Team will play a World Cup qualifier in the Lions’ den in March. This week’s mailbag had questions about what van der Water’s addition means for the guys returning to the lineup from last season, and how we’d scramble the players by position just to have some fun. If there’s anything — and we do mean anything —you want us to address on our next show, just ask by tweeting it to us at @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC. That’s all for this week. Stay safe and enjoy the show! Here’s how show No. 234 went down: 0:15 - Dutch winger Silvester van der Water is officially a Lion, a couple of young OCSC players might be playing in Olympic qualifiers soon, and the Pride add a player who can help if they lose two-thirds of their starting forward line to the Olympics. 27:45 - The USWNT is a point away from clinching a second straight SheBelieves Cup and they would be doing it on the Orlando Pride’s home field. Plus, the Canadian men want to call Exploria Stadium home (for a match, anyway). 40:56 - Our listeners want to know about van der Water and where we’d play guys out of position in a match (if we had to). Crystal Thomas is a Shreveport-based songwriter, singer and trombonist who regularly performs around Louisiana. A performer of the blues and gospel, you can find her (if not in churches) at various clubs like Southern Soul Lounge and at the venerated Monday Night Blues Jam at Lee's in Shreveport. In this episode of Confetti Park, Crystal shares a delightful story about how her desire to perform overcame her lack of musical know-how when she was just a child. "I was in the third grade and we had a Mother’s Day Program and they wanted everyone to participate. Being a music lover, I was like, 'Well I’ll play the piano!' 'I couldn't play the piano….didn’t know how to play the piano! But my love for music…prompted me to getup to the piano, sit down and play. And everyone loved it. I think they applauded more because I had the gumption, the nerve…..I basically made up a song on the spot, in front of the entire school.'" Crystal goes on to explain that she believes her music memory can serve as an example for children to not be afraid to dream big. “Never be afraid to push and follow your dreams," says Crystal. "Shoot for the stars, and wherever hard work takes you, apply yourself. You can achieve and accomplish anything.”
