WELCOME to a spooky-ooky episode of Dumb Hot Mom. Today we talk about the story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and it is HEAVY. I want to put a trigger warning on this episode, and please take note that we will be talking about abuse, murder and prison time. I share a personal story that deals with Munchausen, and we discuss if Gyspy should of served as much time in prison as she did. Before the spook, if you want to listen to the lighthearted NEWS we go over food news and Celebrity Mom News in the first 10 minutes of the episode. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dumbhotmom/message

Let me tell you how I write these descriptions. We record an episode, name it, forget about it, and then months later I have to post it. Except at that point I have no memory of what the hell the episode's name was supposed to mean. So then I have to come up with something to say about it. And I'll be honest, on this one, I got nothing. Like, Stinky Pole Feet? What in the world is that supposed to mean. I swear, we're totally sober when we make these. Anyway, enjoy the episode. I'll be over here wondering where I went wrong in life. I was supposed to be a doctor, you know. Coulda done it too. But instead I'm here, having a public existential crisis that nobody even cares enough to witness.
But not massively...

Gemma Sutton is currently playing Aladdin in this year’s Hackney Empire pantomime, marking the creative team’s 20th anniversary. You may have seen her in Gypsy (with Imelda Staunton), Sweet Charity at the Watermill, The Rink, Strictly Ballroom, Hairspray, Legally Blonde and many other shows. We had a chat in the green room where everyone who works at the Empire goes to eat and relax. It was a rare one show day, with only a matinee, so Gemma kindly stuck around after the show to talk to me. Aladdin is running at the Hackney Empire until January 6th 2019.
