Hour 1 Nolan McLean pitched well last night but the Mets offense has been horrible and couldn't score a single run. They are not winning the division now, we can only hope that they hang on and get into the Wild Card. JJ McCarthy and the Vikings came back in the fourth quarter to beat the Bears even though he played terribly for three quarters. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Mets losing 1-0. Gary, Keith and Ron talked about the Phillies always having ball-girls instead of ball-boys. We heard the sounds of the Vikings coming back to beat the Bears in Chicago. We also heard from McCarthy and Kevin O'Connell after the game. Brian Daboll confirmed Russell Wilson will start vs Dallas. Jerry had a quick preview of Jets/Bills for this weekend. In the final segment of the hour, Rex Ryan went after Mike McDaniel for being a ‘nerd boy'. Hour 2 The Giants are not allowing Jaxson Dart to talk to the media which violates the NFL media policy. What are they worried about? If they don't want him talking or playing then make him the third quarterback. Larry from Indiana checks in as he's thrilled to have Daniel Jones on his team. A caller has had it with Mike Kafka and the Giants offensive scheme or lack thereof. We went over the spread for Giants/Cowboys and Bills/Jets. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Vikings coming back and beating the Bears in Chicago. We heard Brian Daboll talk about his confidence in Wilson at QB. We heard Rex Ryan call Mike McDaniel ‘nerd boy'. The Mets lost 1-0 in Philadelphia and Alvarez had a horrendous at bat to end the game. We heard a clip of Carmelo Anthony and his son talking about the different generations. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said he had no bets on the NFL games this past weekend and it wasn't so interesting to him. He can't just sit there and watch it without some action on the games. Gio said he has a hard time focusing on almost everything now. Hour 3 We started the hour talking about a guy on social media who cleans up overgrown lawns for free. We also talked about the Vikings comeback win over the Bears last night as JJ McCarthy had a strong fourth quarter after doing nothing the first three. A caller said McCarthy reminds him of a young Tom Seaver (that's a joke callback on Boomer). Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Vikings win as we heard Kevin Harlan on the call. The fan that shoved Lamar Jackson and DeAndre Hopkins went on the local news with a neck brace on to apologize (it was actually a comedian pretending to be the fan and he fooled the local news). Mike McDaniel was asked about good things that happened for the Dolphins and it did not go well. In the final segment of the hour, Gio's bucket list golf courses and what kind of nasty crowd are we getting at the Ryder Cup at Bethpage. Hour 4 Today is Dick LeBeau's birthday and he got a birthday shoutout in Boomer's sports minute. Then we spent way too much time talking about him for some reason. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the final strikeout of Francisco Alvarez as the Mets lose to the Phillies 1-0. Mets are now 8 games out of a division they were up 7 games at one point. We almost had 2 no-hitters last night. Right now, there have been none this season. We heard the sounds of the Vikings coming back and beating the Bears last night. Bill Belichick said he's not welcome at the Patriots facility, but Mike Vrabel said he is welcome. The Moment of The Day: Boomer's a big edging guy. In the final segment of the show, Gio was thinking about ranch and how it's his favorite condiment. Boomer argues it's not a condiment. Gio said anything you can put a french fry in is a condiment.

Hour 1 The NFL season got underway last night and Cowboys fans should be pissed that they didn't win that game. Boomer said Dak made all the great throws, but CeeDee Lamb dropped too many key balls. Boomer also thinks the Giants should look at both those teams last night and know they can hang with them. Gio thinks the opposite of that. And the game started with an ejection as Jalen Carter of the Eagles was tossed for spitting on Dak. C-Lo is in for Jerry and here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of a big CeeDee Lamb drop. We also heard Jerry Recco on the call for a key Dallas fumble. Carter talked about the spitting incident after the game. The Yankees beat the Astros as Trent Grisham hit another HR. The umpire crew had a rough series. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about tonight's Chargers/Chiefs game being on YouTube, which is different from YouTube TV. Hour 2 The Giants season kicks off Sunday against the Commanders and everyone around WFAN seems high on them this year. Boomer thinks they will be much more competitive this year. They were a flat team with Daniel Jones and Boomer doesn't think that's the case anymore. Gio wonders if that translates into wins. Gio said they can't start off 0-2 in the division and then have to play the Chiefs. Gio thinks the Jets offense is going to be miserable. A caller thinks Gio is poo-pooing both the Giants and Jets on a Feel Good Friday. C-Lo returns for an update, but first we talked about the vending machine situation at WFAN and how bad it is. We heard the sounds of Kevin Harlan and Jerry Recco on separate calls as the Eagles beat the Cowboys last night. Dak Prescott talked about Jalen Carter getting tossed at the start of the game for spitting on him. Trent Grisham hit another HR as the Yankees beat the Astros again. In the final segment of the hour, an insane Giants fan said they are going to win the division. The Cowboys lost last night because of a turnover and dropped balls. Hour 3 We started briefly with Cracker Barrel and Dua Lipa, then went to a caller who wants to see a 70 yard FG this season by that kicker on the Jaguars. We went over some of Al's Cool Games this morning. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Cowboys losing to the Eagles and CeeDee Lamb dropping a few key passes. Travis Kelce did an impression of Patrick Mahomes ahead of their game tonight in Brazil. We heard the sounds of the Yankees beating the Astros. The Yankees host the Blue Jays tonight and the Mets head to Cincinnati. Bill Belichick will not let Patriot scouts watch his team. C-Lo returns for an update and has all the sounds of the Eagles win over the Cowboys, the Yankees win in Houston and the Mets rotation for the weekend. In the final segment of the hour, Tracy in Atlantic Highlands calls in and asks if we like chili competitions. Hour 4 We talked about the NFL and Boomer said there are ten teams he thinks have a legit shot at winning the Super Bowl. Boomer thinks the Patriots will make the playoffs. Boomer said how about the Cardinals or the Falcons making the playoffs? A caller wonders what we think of the announcement that Mike Tyson is fighting Floyd Mayweather. C-Lo returns for his update, but first Boomer had a lot of great questions during the break about conjoined twins. Two famous twins were seen with their newborn baby. We heard Jerry Recco on the call as the Eagles beat the Cowboys. Jalen Carter was tossed at the start for spitting on Dak Prescott. We listened to the Jim Nantz NFL season hype video. The Yankees beat the Astros as Trent Grisham hit another HR. The Moment of The Day: Jalen Carter spits on Dak, Eddie hits a Hawk Tuah drop. In the final segment of the week, our NFL picks.

Trump's Department of Education is going after four school districts in Kansas for supporting all the creepy and immoral sex change issues at school. Shawnee Mission, Olathe and KCK districts are three of the four and it seems to me there is something else in play here. I gotta get to www.robertsrobinson.com and see if they can dial up one of these new ICE vehicles Trump just debuted on the streets of DC. One of them is the baddest GMC SUV you have ever seen! The dude that slammed his Subway sandwich at a cop in DC, incredibly, works for the department of justice. I'm sorry... he used to work for the DOJ. The Chiefs play at Seattle Friday night and they catch a huge break with Rashee Rice. Tonight's Royals pitcher has the coolest shoes ever for Players Weekend. College football hype has started, but not at the home of the Big 12 champs. CBS has produced a feature with Kevin Harlan having him recall some of his calls. We'll play it and you're going to love it as one of them was an incredible Chiefs game. And our song of the week is an very famous band with an oldie that perfectly describes Trump's week taking over DC.

We talked more about the Knicks win against the Pacers last night and the ‘dumb' fouls KAT commits. We took a ton of calls from Knicks fans mainly about KAT. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the final sounds of the Knicks win as we heard from Kevin Harlan. KAT played through an ankle injury and didn't look too compromised. Justin Fields thinks he can be great for the Jets, which made Ochocinco say everybody can be great in May, but things change when the lights go on for the Jets. Mike McDaniel was asked about Tyreek Hill and just rambled on. The Oilers advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals where they'll face the Florida Panthers. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls on the Knicks win at the Garden but callers are still piling on KAT for taking dumb shots.
We hear audio from Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark, and Indiana Pacers Forward Pascal Siakim's dust-up with a reporter. Todd Leabo joins in place of Kevin Harlan and talks Chiefs and OTAs with us, and a Cooper Flagg NIL Kicker!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
