durée : 00:04:01 - La faute aux jeux vidéo - par : Olivier Bénis - Cette semaine, il est grand temps de réparer une injustice, en évoquant la troisième série de jeux vidéo de rôles la plus populaire au Japon, pourtant quasi inconnue en Occident : "Shin Megami Tensei", ou "MegaTen" pour les intimes.
Los proveedores son uno de los pilares de cualquier e-Commerce. De dónde y cómo obtenemos nuestra mercancía es muy importante y hay varios factores a tener en cuenta cuando se quiere escoger un proveedor perfecto. En este episodio hablamos con Matias Finkelstein, uno de los líderes de Megaten, una empresa argentina especializada en la provisión de productos de Belleza y Cosmética Capilar para profesionales y particulares. La empresa vende a través de su página web, sellerpro.com.ar, y a través de Mercado Libre, donde es uno de los mejores vendedores de la plataforma en Argentina, y también vende a detallistas locales, incluyendo perfumerías, peluquerías y otros negocios minoristas. Primeramente, Matias destaca que es importante saber “cómo los clientes compran y cómo uno se tiene que posicionar frente a los clientes y sus necesidades”. Como experto dentro de la plataforma de Mercado Libre, remarca que el sitio tiene dos tipos de publicaciones, que hacen que se posicione por arriba de Amazon dentro de Latinoamérica: las clásicas, que cobran una comisión y el cliente tiene que pagar full por adelantado, y las Premium, que permiten al cliente pagar en cuotas sin interés. “Es muy importante poder diferenciarse y tener nuestras publicaciones con cuotas, porque quizás tenemos un cliente potencial que no puede comprar por una cuestión de que no le estamos ofreciendo las cuotas que busca”, opina Matias. Lamentablemente, en muchos países de Latinoamérica hay poca investigación o no se suele estudiar al cliente de manera exhaustiva. “En Argentina hay poca información acerca de los tipos de clientes, se desconoce mucho la importancia de las ventas, no hay un análisis y, muchos vendedores que venden en Mercado Libre, no usan las herramientas necesarias de análisis de ventas, y eso genera, junto con un país inflacionario, que los precios queden desactualizados, teniendo a los proveedores exigiéndote que subas los precios constantemente. Hay empresas que te exigen una política de precios obligatoria, es decir, que todos los que publicamos los productos de esa empresa vendemos al mismo precio. Hay otras compañías que son más flexibles y otras que te dejan vender al precio que uno quiere”, recalca nuestro invitado. En ese sentido, desde Megaten tienen una responsabilidad doble, porque también importan: “Acá tomamos el rol de ser nosotros los proveedores de nuestros productos hacia distintos vendedores online o físicos. Hay herramientas para controlar los precios y nosotros las utilizamos, y una vez por semana intentamos mirar los precios que ponen los vendedores y les exigimos que respeten las políticas de precios”. Sin dudas, no todos los proveedores son los indicados para nuestra empresa. La búsqueda de uno es un trabajo arduo que debemos hacer para no tener problemas posteriormente. “En Argentina existe la gran diferencia de que las relaciones son entre personas, no entre empresas. Muchas veces conversas con el dueño de la empresa y es muy importante tu relación con esa persona. Gracias a esa relación te dejan los productos a mejor precio. No es cuestión de cuánto volumen vendés o cuánto representás para una empresa, sino que es la amistad con esa persona y cuánto querés trabajar con ella”, relata Matias. Para comenzar una buena relación con un proveedor, nuestro invitado comenta que generalmente se hace mediante interlocutores: “Lo que estos intermediarios hacen es ir a las ferias y shows y ponernos en contacto”, explica, y agrega: “El intermediario genera muchas veces una política exclusiva para nosotros y la otra empresa”. “En Latinoamérica no existe una política de precios universal, sino que cada país tiene su política y canal de distribución, y dependiendo de eso uno tiene que entender dónde se vende ese producto para buscar un distribuidor adecuado. Ahí se destaca mucho el rol del intermediario, quien habla con las dos empresas y arma las propuestas”, enseña Matias. Es importante saber que el intermediario tiene un costo y uno lo debe incluir como gasto de su empresa, ya que comúnmente cobran una comisión por cada distribuidor que consiguen. “Si uno busca un distribuidor por sí solo, puede haber mucha gente que te haga una oferta, pero quizás no le estás dando el producto a la persona indicada en el momento indicado”, advierte Matias, quien además aclara que “los intermediarios cobran pero también te ayudan en muchas cosas, como el proceso de armado del pedido, recomendación de productos, etc.”. Según nuestro invitado, la manera de conseguir un buen intermediario es llamando a la marca para que nos contacte con el vendedor que le corresponde a nuestro país. “De ahí generas la relación con tu intermediario. Eso es desde Argentina hacia afuera. Si sos una marca de Estados Unidos que busca un interlocutor, es bastante sencillo buscar a partir de la solicitud de contactos a otras empresas. Si uno busca en Google hay brokers de cualquier tipo para ventas en Latinoamérica”. También hay que tener en cuenta que, más allá del precio y del canal donde uno va a vender, está la parte legal, donde se tiene que proveer un montón de documentación que acredite el cumplimiento de ciertas normativas. “Cuando uno consigue un intermediario debe estar predispuesto a escuchar lo que te dice y tener las ganas de poderlo probar. Te van a ofrecer diferentes propuestas de mercados distintos y, cuando uno lo acepta, debemos poder proveer y tener la estructura para armar un pedido y enviar a Latinoamérica”, aconseja Matias. “Otra cosa importante es que los que no tienen marca en Estados Unidos tienen un potencial bastante interesante porque en Latinoamérica hay pequeños proveedores que buscan diferenciarse del resto y que quieren vender productos más exclusivos. Hay muchas personas que no hablan inglés y el intermediario ahí se destaca mucho”, señala Matias. Sin dudas, los intermediarios son una gran ayuda en las primeras etapas, aunque, con el paso del tiempo, podemos generar una buena relación con los distribuidores y así evitar tener interlocutores. Nuestra recomendación es trabajar siempre que sea posible con proveedores cercanos dado que las relaciones deberán ser muy fluidas. Siempre habrá problemas y la gestión de incidencias será más fácil. Es cuando un buen acuerdo entre nosotros y nuestros proveedores será clave. No debe dejarse nada para más adelante y debemos cerrar cualquier punto relacionado con el servicio antes de empezar a trabajar. Por lo tanto, siempre que pensemos en un comercio electrónico, debemos tener en cuenta los dos principales puntos en los que basaremos nuestra competitividad: la generación de demanda y la gestión de nuestros proveedores.
