(soundcloud.com / andoryukesuta)@andoryukesuta SHUTTER 2008 Ben Shaw and his new wife Jane leave New York for Tokyo, Japan, where Ben has a job as a photographer. While traveling, Jane hits a girl in the middle of the wilderness. Later they start to find mysterious lights in their photos. Ben begins to complain of severe shoulder pain, and his friends begin to comment he's looking bent and hunched over, though the doctor he goes to see can find no cause. Ben's assistant takes them to her ex-boyfriend, who says that the lights are spirits, manifestations of intense emotions. They then go to a psychic, Murasame, who Ben soon claims is a hack and refuses to translate what he says. Jane decides to visit the office building in the photo. She goes to the floor where the light has gathered in the empty office and takes photos. She encounters the girl's spirit, learns her name is Megumi and that Ben knew her. When Jane confronts Ben, he admits that he and Megumi were once in a relationship but when her father died she became very obsessive and clingy. He eventually dumped her with help from his two friends. Jane is upset with Ben and decides they need to find Megumi. They go to Megumi's home and find her decayed body; she had committed suicide with potassium cyanide. Elsewhere, Ben's friends Adam and Bruno are killed by Megumi. Adam's eye is torn out while shooting pictures and he dies from shock; Bruno commits suicide by jumping from his apartment. Finally, Ben is attacked by the ghost of Megumi who attempts to choke him. After nearly throwing Jane through a nearby window, Megumi stops, leaving Ben alive. After Megumi's funeral, Ben and Jane return to New York. Jane finds some recent photos in an envelope which still show Megumi. She finds other photos, taken by Ben, Adam, and Bruno forcing themselves on Megumi. Ben tries to explain he felt it was the only way to drive Megumi away, as nothing else was working. This was the reason Ben didn't want to translate what the psychic said earlier. Disgusted by Ben's past actions and realizing that Megumi was trying to warn her, Jane leaves him saying she will not spend the rest of her life with him. Angered, Ben begins photographing the apartment looking for Megumi. After throwing the camera across the room, it takes a picture of him, showing Megumi sitting astride on his shoulders. The movie pans back to the hospital where a nurse is weighing Ben, showing 275 pounds, the weight of two people. In an effort to rid himself of her, he electrocutes himself. He is rendered completely catatonic and sent to a mental institution. The last scene is a reflection of the glass from the door, showing Megumi still latched to his back.

OUR FIRST EPISODE IS NOW LIVE ON YOUTUBE, GO GO GO! Okay, now that that is out of the way, on to the episode. Honestly, we both felt like we had a lot more to say from last week's episode, and wanted to spend a little more time focusing on some of the positive aspects of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, so that's exactly what we did.Kevin starts off the episode directly speaking to some of the rebuttals you guys tore him up with over discord and social media, while Sean picks up his sword and defends your honor. Afterwards, we shift our focus on to some of the more fun aspects Jujutsu Kaisen brought to us this season, and talk way more about who impressed us this season and why. We also spend a little time theory crafting and other fun stuff. Lastly, especially if you want Vinland Saga Season 2 next week, go show our YouTube some love and feast your eyes on our ugly faces. This episode includes: Gojo, Itadori, Yuji, Todo, Megumi, JJK, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, DBZ, HunterXHunter, BleachLinks to everything HERE!
The rollercoaster of a banger, also known as Jujutsu Kaisen has finally concluded its second season. While the majority of the internet is in an agreement that season 2 was amazing, Kevin spends this episode making the argument that it was overrated. The bulk of the episode is the back and forth with us debating the quality, rushed storytelling, character focus, and its overall performance. We also pick our favorite characters, fights, and moments from the season. What do you guys think: Does Kevin have a point, or is he trippin? This episode includes: Gojo, Itadori, Yuji, Todo, Megumi, JJK, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, DBZ, HunterXHunterLinks to everything HERE!

In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, Giana, Chika, and Cristal Marie review episodes twenty-two and twenty-three of Fruits Basket (2019). In episode 22, we learn all about Hanajima's powers and dark past. This episode was a really heavy hitter and brings out some Rocky Road moments in Sprinkles on Top. Hanajima's family is loving, supportive, and sweet to their daughter. In particular, Megumi's prayer for someone who understands his sister to come into her life really tugs at everyone's heartstrings. There is also confusion and speculation around what Hanajima's power truly is and where it could possibly come from. Hana's bullying comes with a healthy serving of Hot Fudge. In episode 23, Kyo's sweet blushy moments and cooking for Tohru to show appreciation when she was sick earn spots in everyone's Floats Your Boat. Shigure saying “Be a good girl” to Tohru makes its home in Banana Split for a reason you probably wouldn't expect. Chika and Cristal get vulnerable in Hot Fudge about their mental health struggles versus the expectations of those around them. Kagura receives yet another healthy serving of I Scream, You Scream. Grab your spoons, and let's dig in! — Over the landscape of time, there is change. Change inherently includes loss. People you love pass on from this life, or move away. Loss can also be a chapter in your life ending and a new one beginning. Or it can be old ways of being giving way to new ones. When you are missing someone or something, give your heart space and time. Whatever feeling is present, breathe into it. Let it be felt. Maybe you cry. Maybe you feel angry. Maybe you laugh in remembrance of a joyful connection. Whatever is felt in the moment, this is part of the richness of your love. Grief exists because of love and connection. Even when there's pain in a connection, its loss will be a grieving (and an opportunity to heal the pain). Whatever is present in your heart, breathe into it and let it be felt. Breathe it out as a blessing, because what you're feeling is part of the richness of heart. All the flavors of remembrance, loss, anger, sadness - whatever you are feeling - are part of the richness of your heart. Valeria interviews Megumi Burr-Tolliver — She is a Vortexhealing® Divine Energy Healing Practitioner, Founder Of Compassion Tree Healing, Intentional Community Co-Founder, Writer, Teacher And Speaker. An important stream in Megumi's life showed up in early childhood when she learned to only express in the range of “appropriate.” Probably something of her expression had been too out of the box for others' comfort. Growing up, she felt everyone was missing what mattered. But she didn't know what that was, and it wasn't in the range of what was appropriate to acknowledge. As a teen, she knew she wanted to “understand others and myself” and “help others and myself.” Her adult path gradually uncovered what that meant, as she developed feeling and knowing from within, and stepped into roles supporting others. Another important stream came in as her dad, husband and mom passed. Megumi experiences life as inclusive of death, grief and remembering. Megumi's unfolding path currently has her co-founding a small, land-based intentional community in Vermont. Her practice, Compassion Tree Healing, supports moms and nurturers who want to find their center and grounding, using highest-level tools from VortexHealing® Divine Energy Healing. She creates nurturing spaces where people anywhere in the world can be with themselves with compassion. Leading up to this point, she supported pregnancy, postpartum and moms as Compassion Tree Mama Care, including as a massage therapist, birth and postpartum doula, and yoga and movement teacher. She has also co-led workshops and classes. Megumi's current and next chapters involve cultivating deep listening and communication with self, others and land. The inspiration is Love. The aspiration is to awaken new ways of thinking that can lead us to a new way of being, being well.
