In today's episode, there's rumors abound that Detroid: Become Human and Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream just signed a deal with Disney to make a Star Wars game. Keep in mind this is still a rumor, but according to Dualshockers, sources have confirmed that work has begun on a Star Wars project at the studio. Quantic Dream is best known for their narrative-based adventure games, like the award-winning Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls. There's no details as to what genre this rumored Star Wars game would be—maybe another choice-driven game like Detroit? Or an action game like EA's Jedi: Fallen Order? What are your theories? Let us know in the comments! And have you finished Deltarune: Chapter 2 already, and are ready for more? Developer Toby Fox has announced that the next three chapters of the game will be released at once time. Fox understands gamers' frustration at having to wait a few years between chapters, so he's hoping to give you the final parts in one big drop. Fox has also revealed that they won't be released for free, like Chapters 1 and 2 were. Expect to pay a little more than what his previous game, Undertale, currently sells for—which is about $15. Today's episode is brought to you by Movies Anywhere.
As much of a storytelling experiment as it is a throwback to 16 and 32-bit JRPGs, Octopath Traveler is an ambitious, if flawed, entry in the genre. Journalist Iyane Agossah joins Paul and new full-time co-host Allisa James to discuss this anthology of eight loosely-connected stories, and how successful it is in its attempt to both innovate and call back to classic JRPGs. We'll dive deep into each review, talk about the things we loved, the stuff that needs improvement, and probably have some spirited debates and a few laughs along the way. We're kicking things off with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but in the coming weeks, we're talking about Demon's Souls, Xbox Series X, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Playstation 5, and Cyberpunk 2077. For all your video game reviews, stick with IGN.

Hamilton is now out on Disney Plus. And Trevor loves the show so much that he's dedicated the next string of episodes solely to that offering, with a series of one-on-one conversations about the show. Episode three of That Hamilcast welcomes Cameron Hawkins from DualShockers. Cameron walked into Hamilton mostly blind to the show and fell immediately down the rabbit hole with it, watching it 8 times in the first week on Disney Plus. The two topics covered are the lack of black representation in games as they talk about their favorite black characters in video games, as well as how black options in character customization menus are severely limited or optimized.
