Dani Lefrancois, a full-time photo guide and landscape photographer, grew up in Southern Ontario's Niagara Region, exploring the outdoors with a map in one hand and a camera in the other. Her passion for photography truly ignited on a road trip to Cape Breton Island, and further evolved after exploring Banff, Jasper, Yukon, and Alaska. In 2011, Dani relocated to Banff, Alberta, where the rugged landscapes became both her home and her canvas. With her adventure dog, Tuzo, by her side, Dani is always out capturing the beauty of nature—whether at sunrise, sunset, or under the night sky. Though she admits to missing countless photo contest deadlines, Dani focuses on the joy of the journey, capturing spontaneous moments and guiding others through the stunning landscapes of Banff National Park and beyond. A dedicated advocate for nature preservation, Dani emphasizes the importance of hands-on photography, preferring natural light and minimal digital editing. Her love for adventure, combined with her technical skills, storytelling, and passion for the outdoors, makes her a beloved figure in the landscape photography community. I hope you enjoy the show! For the past two decades, farmers in the Niagara Region have taken the issue of water scarcity into their own hands. Even though the region is surrounded by Lake Ontario, the Welland Canal, Niagara River and Lake Erie, getting water to tender fruit and grapes has always been a challenge and climate change is only exacerbating the problem. The Niagara Peninsula produces over 90 per cent of Ontario's tender fruit and according to local farmers and politicians, that could be at risk if investments in irrigation infrastructure are not taken seriously. Field reporter Jeyan Jeganathan takes a look at the race to irrigate Niagara.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Welcome back to The Sales Genius podcast / War Games Group Live! This week, we've got a remarkable entrepreneur in the spotlight - John Papaloni. His journey from DJing to dominating real estate is truly inspiring. John's entrepreneurial spirit ignited at 15 when he started a DJ business. He even landed a gig at a local radio station, opening doors for DJs at live events. Post-college, John founded KMG Digital Inc., a Print and Marketing Business. A significant milestone was securing Bally Total Fitness as a client, propelling him into North America's Top 100 Print Businesses. Expanding his horizons, John created two distinct businesses - one for wholesale and one for end-users. In 2007, he sold both and launched ClickGTA and ClickRadio. ClickGTA, an online media company, provided event info and media from Greater Toronto. ClickRadio was an internet/mobile radio broadcasted nightclub music and live events. In 2013, personal reasons led John to close the shop. In 2015, he ventured into real estate, becoming a successful agent serving the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara Region. But the story doesn't end there. John founded Papaloni Capital Inc., a real estate investment fund where he partners with investors.

Welcome to this episode of the Motherkind podcast. I am so happy you are here. Thank you for pressing play and listening. Throughout August I have a break from recording new episodes to re-set, take a breather and re-connect with the family. We do however over this period re-release the most downloaded episodes from the past six months. And this week's is brilliant. It is with Jess VanderWier who is a registered Psychotherapist, family and child therapist and founder of Our Mama Village, which has a massive one million Instagram followers. I absolutely loved this episode. I cried and got really emotional at the end when Jess describes her grandmother. It instantly connected me to a sense of perspective and what's important. I feel like I constantly need that reminder to get out of the weeds of my day-to-day life and stress and to think about the big picture and this episode did it for me. I discovered Jess on Instagram and loved her compassion and her deep experience with families. This is an episode about gentle parenting and we talk about what that means. It's also about the bigger picture so we are going to dive in together about why we might want to look into our values as parents and have a think about how we are parenting. In our busy lives, from the moment our eyes open to the moment our heads hit the pillow, it can just feel like go go go. It is so easy to forget to maintain perspective and the bigger picture of why your role as a parent is so important and how to navigate all the tricky parts with more grace and ease. I especially loved it when Jess talks about the seasons of parenthood and how to know when is the time to survive, to grit your teeth and get through it. And when is the right time to do that deeper work into what might be coming up for us as we go through the challenges of parenthood. What she shares is absolutely brilliant. IN THIS EPISODE YOU'LL LEARN ABOUT: What is gentle parenting Why we might want to look into our values as parents and have a think about how we are parenting The seasons of parenthood and how to know when to survive or do the deeper work Keeping it all in perspective What does punishment-free parenting look like GROUP COACHING PROGRAMME - STARTS 14th OF SEPTEMBER 2022 Our next round of group coaching starts on the 14th of September.
