In her new book, The Perfect Fascist: A Story of Love, Power, and Morality in Mussolini's Italy (Belknap Press), Dr. Victoria de Grazia takes the story of Attilio Teruzzi and explores the social history of fascism. When Attilio Teruzzi, Mussolini's handsome political enforcer, married a rising young American opera star, his good fortune seemed settled. The wedding was a carefully stage-managed affair, capped with a blessing by Mussolini himself. Yet only three years later, after being promoted to commander of the Black Shirts, Teruzzi renounced his wife. In fascist Italy, a Catholic country with no divorce law, he could only dissolve the marriage by filing for an annulment through the medieval procedures of the Church Court. The proceedings took an ominous turn when Mussolini joined Hitler: Lilliana Teruzzi was Jewish, and fascist Italy would soon introduce its first race laws. The Perfect Fascist pivots from the intimate story of a tempestuous seduction and inconvenient marriage―brilliantly reconstructed through family letters and court records―to a riveting account of Mussolini's rise and fall. It invites us to see in the vain, loyal, lecherous, and impetuous Attilio Teruzzi, a decorated military officer, an exemplar of fascism's New Man. Why did he abruptly discard the woman he had so eagerly courted? And why, when the time came to find another partner, did he choose another Jewish woman as his would-be wife? In Victoria de Grazia's engrossing account, we see him vacillating between the will of his Duce and the dictates of his heart. De Grazia's landmark history captures the seductive appeal of fascism and shows us how, in his moral pieties and intimate betrayals, his violence and opportunism, Teruzzi is a forefather of the illiberal politicians of today. Victoria de Grazia is the Moore Collegiate Professor of History at Columbia University. Craig Sorvillo is a PhD candidate in modern European history at the University of Florida. Living through a deadly plague as we watched the country descend into political violence on our screens might've left us with some...unresolved issues. Director Ari Aster sits down with Jon to break down his new dark comedy, “Eddington,” which depicts the violent unraveling of a small town as it faces pandemic, polarization, and AI proliferation. But first! MSNBC's Brandy Zadrozny joins Offline to unpack the latest in MAGA's cannibalizing Epstein conspiracy, debate the merits of online debate (we're looking at you, Jubilee), and wade through Elon's latest unhinged innovation: a horny anime chatbot that flirts with children. For a closed-captioned version of this episode, click here. I sat down with former national security official Miles Taylor to discuss the very real threats at home and from abroad that this country faces with Trump in the White House. Threats Miles also knows about personally, as Trump called out Miles by name in April and ordered the DOJ to investigate Miles for treason. Ridiculous, yes. But scary, and unprecedented. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Celebrate the chaos with Sarah, Tim and JVL! Trump panics over Epstein revelations and demands Barack Obama's arrest for “treason,” sending MAGA into conspiracy-theory overdrive. Republicans literally flee Congress to avoid tough votes, Jerome Powell's Fed independence hangs by a thread, and Gen-Z conservatives openly embrace fascism as their new ideology. Meanwhile, Trump's Oval Office gets a garish, gold-plated, dictator-inspired makeover. Get $35 off your first box of wild-caught, sustainable seafood—delivered right to your door. To hear more, visit www.thebulwark.comTim, Sarah, and JVL talk about Epstein, of course—particularly President Donald Trump's aggressive attempts to deflect attention toward former President Barack Obama by suggesting Obama committed treason. They delve into the dynamics within the MAGA base, analyzing their cognitive dissonance on issues such as Epstein's connection with Trump and conspiracy theories. They highlight the different segments within Trump's base and discuss how conspiracy theories and misinformation shape their political reality. The conversation then turns to the alarming rise of fascist and authoritarian rhetoric among younger conservative activists, emphasizing how Trump's influence has emboldened extreme ideologies while social media algorithms accelerate radicalization and misinformation.Show notes:* JVL and Tim watch clips from Mehdi Hasan's appearance on Juliblee.* Tim's conversation with Mehdi Hasan after his appearance on Jubilee. Groups known as "active clubs" are growing across Canada. They often meet in public parks or martial arts clubs, and say they are building community and fitness while standing up for Canada's European history. But they're part of a decentralized network with deep ties to white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and other far-right groups — and they're spreading fast.An exclusive CBC investigation has uncovered exactly how and where these groups operate, who's involved, who they target, and their connections to other extremist groups in Canada and beyond. The CBC's Eric Szeto explains what his team uncovered during the months-long investigation. Then, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue's Mack Lamoureux puts the clubs into the context of growing far-right extremism worldwide, and the broader goals of the movement. For transcripts of Front Burner, please visit: https://www.cbc.ca/radio/frontburner/transcripts
We are witnessing the current administration's outrageous and harmful efforts to silence dissent and curtail our freedoms on a daily basis. Listen as Aaron and Damien discuss the piece “‘I Am Not Afraid'” by Adam Federman in In These Times, which analyzes some of the troubling and dangerous efforts by the Trump administration and its far-right loyalists to attack activists, organizers, and protestors, silence dissent, and curtail our individual and collective freedoms, and what we learn and take away from this incredible article in our continued learning and unlearning work and fight for collective liberation.Follow us on social media and visit our website! There was a time when being a member of the ACLU meant defending the speech of people you despised—not because you endorsed them, but because the principle of liberty mattered more than comfort. I joined for that reason. I wasn't virtue signaling. I was pledging allegiance to the Constitution, the real one—not the cosplay version people wave when it suits them. Now? The ACLU defends speech selectively. The Human Rights Campaign operates more like a branding arm of one political party. And free speech? Somehow that's been redefined as violence. Ironically, actual violence is often written off as passion or protest.I'm not saying this in a red hat. I'm saying this as someone who remembers when progressives stood for open discourse. I grew up in Hawai‘i surrounded by every possible kind of person—different skin, different languages, different politics. They were still mine. I worked with Frank Burns, the general who wrote “Be All You Can Be.” I was close to his son, Scott. I loved Hope O'Keeffe, a brilliant constitutional lawyer. These people weren't footnotes. They shaped my beliefs.Someone once said I was trying to get myself on the SPLC watchlist. It hurt because it felt a little true. I've been next to too many counternarratives for too long—from New Media Strategies to memes.org to spelunking rabbit holes on forums nobody talks about in polite company. I don't think I'm flagged. But I'm filtered—soft-shadowbanned, algorithmically sidelined, quietly removed from the conversation without anyone needing to tell me so.And the language—God, the language. I watched “racist” morph from describing segregationists to being tossed like a beer can at people like me: 55, white, straight, Christian, gun-owning, ex-ACLU donor. “Fascist” now applies to suburban parents who speak up at school board meetings. These words used to be magic spells. Now they're wallpaper. And when every act is fascism, when every opinion is white supremacy, the terms lose meaning. The public square becomes a theater of accusation. And many of us? We quietly walked away. The left won the culture war, sure. The right didn't argue. They built something else. While the activist class raged on TikTok and MSNBC, the right unplugged. They stopped donating. They stopped attending. They didn't march. They starved the beast. Defund NPR? You don't need a vote—just stop the grants that trickle in through CPB, NEA, USAID, and other soft-funding channels. NPR says it only receives 2% of its budget from the federal government. But insiders know better—those streams run deep.Same for universities. You can't shut them down outright—it would look authoritarian. But redefine their worst excesses (and many now qualify) as violations of civil rights law—like antisemitism—and you can cut off Title VI funding. You don't need bayonets. You need bean counters. The left made everything sacred: identity, language, tone, even silence. The right made nothing sacred except autonomy. The right didn't want to control cities. They wanted to starve them—cut off food, fuel, infrastructure—and watch the bloated coastlines retreat. The right doesn't dream of invading blue cities. They plan to outlast them. And still, the same spells are being cast: bigot, fascist, hater, Hitler. But the spell is broken. Because I see the restaurant going dark. I see the check left unpaid. I see the waiter backing away. And I see the activists arguing about the pronouns on the dessert menu.I'm not here to storm anything. I'm not calling for a new party, a movement, or revolt. I'm just the watcher. I was here when speech was sacred. I was here when dissent wasn't pathology. And I'll still be here when the lights go out and the last credit card gets declined.

All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.Everyone's worried about stopping terrorism. Well, there's really an easy way: Stop participating in it.Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. The whole educational and professional training system is a very elaborate filter, which just weeds out people who are too independent, and who think for themselves, and who don't know how to be submissive, and so on — because they're dysfunctional to the institutions. If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all.The more you can increase fear of drugs and crime, welfare mothers, immigrants and aliens, the more you control all the people. There are very few people who are going to look into the mirror and say, 'That person I see is a savage monster;' instead, they make up some construction that justifies what they do.Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media. In the US, there is basically one party - the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population. It is pretty ironic that the so-called 'least advanced' people are the ones taking the lead in trying to protect all of us, while the richest and most powerful among us are the ones who are trying to drive the society to destruction. You cannot control your own population by force, but it can be distracted by consumption.I have often thought that if a rational Fascist dictatorship were to exist, then it would choose the American system.Governments regard their own citizens as their main enemy, and they have to be - protect themselves. That's why you have state secret laws. Citizens are not supposed to know what their government is doing to them.I stated that Hiroshima and Nagasaki are 'among the most unspeakable crimes in history.' I took no position on just where they stand on the scale of horrors relative to Auschwitz, the bombing of Chungking, Lidice, and so on.The 'peace movement' exists only in the fantasies of the paranoid. There are two problems for our species' survival - nuclear war and environmental catastrophe - and we're hurtling towards them. On July 17, 1936, the Nazi-backed Spanish General Federico Franco led an armed rebellion against the Spanish government. It began a bloody civil war that would last for years. Thousands of people left their homes and traveled to Spain to stand up and defend its democratically elected government against Franco and fascism. Roughly 35,000 people from more than 50 countries would join the Spanish International Brigade. Of those internacionalistas, roughly 3,000 men and women came from the United States and volunteered to fight. They founded the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. We just talked live with Randi Weingarten, the American Federation of Teachers president and longtime Democratic Party stalwart, about the threats facing public education, democracy, and the future of the American dream. She talked to us about:* Why education became a target for the right — including the two things teachers do that fascists fear* Why she resigned from the Democratic National Committee and why she believes the party needs to learn to grow its tent* How progressives can meet parents anxious about social progress and change where they are instead of turning them away* What she believes the gay rights movement did successfully that the trans rights movement has struggled to do in recent years* What education will look like in a future of addictive devices and rampant A.I.You won't want to miss any of this one. Jerry spoke to Tom Daly, historian of An Garda Síochána, who wrote an article about David Tormey, who was a garda based in Beaufort in the early years of the new Irish state. He joined An Garda Síochána even though during the Civil War, he fought on the Anti-Treaty side.
“Italy, Gentlemen, wants peace, wants quiet, wants work, wants calm; we will give it with love, if that be possible, or with strength, if that be necessary.” This is the story of Italy's Benito Mussolini's creation of fascism and rise to power in interwar Italy. Benito starts life the way his father intended—as a socialist—and the often moving, young schoolteacher quickly emerges as a leading voice in the movement as he's entrusted to serve as the editor of one of the party's most important newspapers. But the Great War changes that. Benito supports it, the party doesn't, and by the conflict's end, the returned soldier has a new idea—one that takes him across the political spectrum, all the way from the Marxist left to the nationalist far-right—a violent, war-glorifying, anti-democratic, one-party, dictatorial version of nationalism. He calls it “fascism.” Benito speaks of order. Economic prosperity. National pride. Some see his black-clad fighting squads, known as “Blackshirts,” as their saviors from the far-left's communism, so feared in the wake of the recent Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. Indeed, many Italians welcome his march on Rome and his growing powers as Prime Minister, and celebrate his foreign policy achievements, including a reconciliation between Italy and the Vatican. But as Benito kills Italy's constitutional monarchy in all but name as he turns into a dictator, conquers Ethiopia, ignores the League of Nations, and bonds with Germany's rising dictator Adolf Hitler, former allies are growing concerned. Some fear his anti-democratic path will also embolden Germany. As W.E.B. Du Bois questions: “If Italy takes her pound of flesh by force, does anyone suppose that Germany will not make a similar attempt?” Only time will tell. Brad emphasizes JD Vance's role as a bridge between Christian nationalist voters and Silicon Valley, suggesting the Trump-Musk feud may not significantly impact this coalition. Last Resort Beyond Last Resort: The JFK Assassination, The Need to Protect West Berlin, and Why a Second Invasion of Cuba Never HappenedJohn F. Kennedy was an embattled president. He was consistently at odds with the Joint Chiefs, the CIA, the radical-right, and Fascist groups in America and Western Europe, who considered him too weak to contain the spread of communism. After the Cuban Missile Crisis, the animosity for the young President grew as JFK cracked down on right-wing Cuban exile groups in America by preventing them from running sabotage raids against the Cuban mainland. Confusion reigned, for at the same time, Robert Kennedy was putting together a coalition of left-wing Cuban exiles to launch a second invasion of Cuba at the end of 1963. Meanwhile, a right-wing Cuban exile group operating independently of the Kennedys was looking to assassinate JFK, which they believed would be a catalyst to compel the United States to invade Cuba with its military in retaliation. The plan could have worked because of Lee Harvey Oswald. He was a Marxist and Castro supporter who had defected to the Soviet Union in 1959, had renounced his citizenship, and had revealed military secrets to the Russians. He allegedly tried to shoot right-wing General Edwin Walker, was a member of the pro-Castro Fair Play for Cuba Committee, and in the summer of 1963, he was arrested in New Orleans for handing out pro-Castro literature in public. He traveled to Mexico City and tried to reach Havana two months before the JFK assassination. He wrote a letter to the Russian Embassy in Washington D.C. upon his return, saying he used an alias while he was in Mexico. He was measured as 5'-9" tall during his autopsy, which was two inches shorter than when he left the Marines four years before. All this made him the perfect patsy to be used to justify a second invasion of Cuba. So, why didn't the United States invade Cuba after the JFK assassination when they had the opportunity to do so once and for all? The answer to that question is West Berlin, the gateway to Western Europe and a city President Kennedy was determined to protect at all costs, even if it meant sacrificing Cuba to the Communists. And a second invasion of Cuba placed Berlin in jeopardy, so it could not be allowed to happen. Another group came together in the spring of 1963, made up of CIA right-wing Cold War veterans like Allen Dulles, James Angleton, Henry Hecksher, William Harvey, and Tracy Barnes. These men had fought the Nazis during World War but came to consider them the lesser of two evils compared to the Soviet Union when the war was over. And they were hell-bent on keeping communism out of Europe by any means possible. For over a decade leading up to JFK's Presidency, they had collaborated with ex-Nazis, European Monarchists, and French military Fascists in the war against communism to keep Europe safe. So, it was not surprising that they all came together once again to assassinate President Kennedy – not to justify an invasion of Cuba but to prevent that from occurring. They knew that if a second invasion of Cuba were to happen, the Soviets would take West Berlin, which would almost certainly have led to World War III. So, as a Last Resort Beyond Last Resort, this group inevitably concluded that the only choice they had was to remove JFK from power before it was too late. And mixed up in the middle of it all was Lee Harvey Oswald.https://amzn.to/452QKmkBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Across Europe, far-right movements are gaining ground. By normalising nationalist rhetoric and challenging democratic institutions, these parties raise comparisons with former periods of fascism on the continent. Between 1943 and 1945, when Nazi forces occupied northern Italy, ordinary people in towns and villages across the country took up arms against fascism in one of Europe's largest resistance movements. Now, 80 years later, in many of these same towns, anti-fascist sentiment remains unusually strong. In this episode, we speak to political scientist Juan Masullo at Leiden University, who's been finding out about the enduring legacy of these partisan movements. This episode was hosted by Gemma Ware and written and produced by Mend Mariwany. Sound design and mixing by Eloise Stevens and theme music by Neeta Sarl. An Ireland South MEP has defended her decision to vote against what she's called a "fascist" censure vote of the European Commission President. Ursula von der Leyen has survived the motion tabled today after it failed to secure the required two-thirds majority. The motion was brought forward by a Romanian far-right MEP after von der Leyen's refusal to release text messages exchanged with the Chief Executive of Pfizer during the pandemic. Ireland South MEP Fianna Fáil Cynthia Ní Mhurchú has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons creating a power vacuum in Europe would only serve to destabilise Ireland and jeopardise its interests.

The Democrats' Project 2029 is a farce that shows leaders of the party don't actually want to win. Fascist public policy is here, and it's class war. According to Gallup, even most Americans think US hegemony sucks. Jo welcomes comedian, SiriusXM host, and author John Fugelsang for a brutally honest—and frequently hilarious—conversation about America's relentless cruelty, the billionaire boner bill, and why the GOP's Bible-thumping is pure performance. With his new book coming out August 19th (preorder it now), Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds, Fugelsang digs into the white supremacy at the core of U.S. immigration policy, the hypocrisy of politicians who wrap themselves in Christianity while gutting healthcare and nutrition for millions, and why “the cruelty is the point.”Jo and John don't hold back: they call out the media's cowardice, the cult of personality around Trump, and the Democrats' chronic inability to fight fire with fire. Fugelsang shares how his own upbringing—by ex-clergy parents—shaped his view of faith, and why nobody who actually reads the Bible could square it with today's right-wing politics. There are dick jokes, there's righteous anger, and there's a guide for anyone who's tired of watching religion used as a weapon against the most vulnerable.Subscribe and Follow Jo:https://linktr.ee/jojofromjerz Hosted on Acast. This week on Economic Update, Professor Wolff, responding to requests, explores the parallels between what led to the rise of Hitler and fascism in Germany after World War I and what has brought the US to Trump and his current policies. Many key basic parallels are presented alongside some remaining differences that help explain why what Trump is doing is not yet what a fully formed US fascism would entail. The rise of the organic movement is often remembered as a peaceful revolution - a return to the earth, to purity, to harmony with nature. But its true origins tell a far darker tale. Born not in the flower-strewn fields of 1960s counterculture, but in the grim laboratories of fascist ideology, the organic movement was shaped by the poisonous ideal of Blut und Boden - blood and soil - Hitler's vision of racial purity rooted in sacred, cultivated land.In the shadow of the First World War, as modernity fractured Europe, a coalition of aristocrats, ideologues, and agrarian radicals began to turn away from industrial farming and toward a mystical belief in soil as the lifeblood of the nation. Sir Albert Howard's composting theories were seized upon by those who dreamed not of sustainability, but of supremacy. Lord Lymington, a British peer and passionate fascist, declared modern agriculture a threat to the racial soul of Britain. And Lady Eve Balfour, often lauded as a pioneering environmentalist, helped found the Soil Association not just to heal the earth but to preserve a vanishing, hierarchical vision of Englishness under threat. As fascism spread through Europe in the 1920s and 30s, so too did the organic ideal - not as liberation, but as control. And even after Hitler's fall, those same roots crept into post-war Britain's environmental movements, disguised under new names. So how did a movement forged in the crucible of authoritarianism become the darling of the left? How did fascist soil science transform into the ideology of hippies, Whole Foods, and farmer's markets?Join John and Patrick as they descend into the murky, forgotten history of the organic movement and discover that the soil is far darker than it first appears.----------In Sponsorship with Cornell University: Dyson Cornell SC Johnson College of Business-----------Join the History of Fresh Produce Club for ad-free listening, bonus episodes, book discounts and access to an exclusive chatroom community.Support us!Share this episode with your friendsGive a 5-star ratingWrite a review -----------Subscribe to our biweekly newsletter here for extra stories related to recent episodes, book recommendations, a sneak peek of upcoming episodes and more.-----------Step into history - literally! Zohran Mamdani's campaigning and victory in the Democrat NYC Mayoral primary has been a hyper-polarizing issue. One side says he is the new Democrat, even more radical than the originals, as if this is a good thing. Another side says he is an antisemite, radical Social Democrat Muslim, which makes no sense because Muslims are a very conservative people. The entire race has been focused on Israel rather than NYC, with one Israeli newspaper claiming that anti-Muslim attacks on Mamdani are actually anti-Jewish. But, see, it's actually social democracy that is a byproduct of Jews like Karl Marx. The democrats get 50% of all their money from the Jewish lobby and nearly 3/4 of all Jews support Democrats. Yet Mamdani is painted as anti-Jewish for not seeking to visit Israel, which is a separate issue from the Jews of NYC, who he says he will help by cracking down on hate crimes and speech - why would some groups call on Jews to evacuate NYC then? And there it is; the same policies coming from the conservative White House. Mamdani also reinforces October 7 as a reason for this censorship and says Jews feel unsafe in NYC, all of which takes away from the fact Jews are citizens and it is the NY citizen who should be the focus of the Mayor, not a foreign state or individual people; that the crime in NYC is a result of people like Mamdani himself. Mamdani is therefore likely working for Israel or the Mossad, or something equivalent. He is a plant. As for the other news about a “death” threat on Trump and Netanyahu, Infowars says Islam and Iran have issued a “death fatwa.” But a “fatwa” is only “a ruling on a point of Islamic law given by a recognized authority,” and that is what Iranian religious leader Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi did when declaring anyone who threatens Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as “an enemy of God.” Infowars then goes on to say that it “potentially incites” violence, which is different than both a “death threat” and “fatwa.” The same things are falsely being reported about the Al-Asghar (PBUH) World Assembly in Iran, which occurs every year. Numerous sources are reporting that the Iranian women seen holding their babies in the air are offering them up as radical sacrifices to Islam, when what they are really doing is honoring mothers and remembering the infant martyrs in Iran and the Gaza Strip. A martyr is “a person who is killed or made to suffer because of their religious or other beliefs,” meaning one who is persecuted for being, in this case, Muslim. And these mothers are honoring the dead killed by Israel, who says their chants are meant to kill their own babies and those of Israel and the U.S., which is a disgusting display of propaganda that like the word “fatwa” completely demeans a language, culture and religion. The chants of “death” to America or Israel are always provoked - by starvation, war, peace deals broken, lies about diplomacy etc. - not a byproduct of hating American freedom. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Greta Thunberg is a burr in the ass of the powerful throughout the world—and not only for rightwing sociopaths. Increasingly, as she grows up, learns more, and networks with other activists around the world, she's become a scourge for liberals as well. Many of them would prefer she remain a child, providing a theatre of emotional catharsis for a climate crisis industry more interested in raising money from green economy donors than forcing change. Now, as Thunberg broadens her target to capitalism and colonialism writ large, it's more and more clear that she's confronting what autistic philosopher Robert Chapman calls “the empire of normality,” from her lived experience of autism, about which so many of the conspiracy theories we cover here swirl. Yesterday the Progressive Fascists and their collaborator unelected, black-robed, tyrannical, inferior, federal district trial court judges were stripped by the Supreme Court of their ability to weaponize universal temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions against the political agenda of President Donald J. Trump, the Article II Executive Branch people elected by the whole of the American people to carry out their political win.Their response? To glibly announce that the loss of universal injunctions doesn't really matter, because instead they'll just file a blizzard of class actions to certify universal classes, and then obtain injunctions that apply to those universal classes. The outcome, they claim, is pretty much the same either way. But IS it? If both universal injunctions and class actions achieved the same outcome, why have they pursued only the former and not the latter? And how do they plan to define these coherent classes, anyway? In fact, the pursuit of class actions leaves these Progressive Fascist enemies of the American citizenry in a far more legally vulnerable position than they've ever been before.Get Your FREE Copy of Our Best-Selling Book: "The Law of Self Defense: Principles"Visit Here: https://lawofselfdefense.com/getthebook"You are wise to buy this material. Increasingly, as she grows up, learns more, and networks with other activists around the world, she's become a scourge for liberals as well. Many of them would prefer she remain a child, providing a theatre of emotional catharsis for a climate crisis industry more interested in raising money from green economy donors than forcing change. Now, as Thunberg broadens her target to capitalism and colonialism writ large, it's more and more clear that she's confronting what autistic philosopher Robert Chapman calls “the empire of normality”, from her lived experience of autism, about which so many of the conspiracy theories we cover here swirl. Billionaires are ravaging our democracy. One of the worst culprits is tech fascist billionaire Peter Theil. His company Palantir's technology allows ICE to identify, locate, and kidnap migrants en masse. Their spy-cop tools track activists and organizers. The IDF uses Palantir tech to commit genocide in Gaza.On Thursday, hundreds of activists disrupted and shut down Palantir's offices in New York City and in the Silicon Valley town of Palo Alto. This action is the launch of summer campaign called "Stop Billionaire Summer."In the latest episode, Scott talks with Alice Hu about the action and the Purge Palantir campaign. A new MP3 sermon from Alpha and Omega Ministries is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Israel and the Church, Fascists, the Voice of Reason Misrepresents History Subtitle: The Dividing Line 2025 Speaker: Dr. James White Broadcaster: Alpha and Omega Ministries Event: Podcast Date: 6/26/2025 Length: 61 min.
Took some time to consider what the Bible says about Israel and the Church in light of recent events, then looked at another "let's sneak some Nazi stuff into another White Boy Summer video" stuff, and finished off reviewing the claims of Alex Jurado about the background of our debate last year, sadly having to correct a lot of error and misinformation.
