Thank you for joining us for this week's message! As we complete our series on marriages, Pastor Chris urges us to go beyond the present and examine how we think about our marriages and how our thoughts and actions can lead to healthier marriages. We should be thinking beyond our role and our spouse's role in the marriage, for we are much more than merely a role, and our value in a relationship is not measured by our productivity. We should be thinking beyond our happiness, and even beyond the happiness of our spouse, for happiness is a moving target. God calls us to grow in holiness, not just as individuals but as a couple. We should be thinking beyond our lifetime as well, for God's plan for us is to be a life-changing example of God's perfect love being shared with those around us. If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! If you would like more information about our church, we're want to share. Please text the word "NEXT" to 407-77 so we can engage with you. Welcome to the What's Next! Podcast with Tiffani Bova. This week, I'm eager to share an entertaining yet highly insightful conversation with Dave Liniger. Dave co-founded RE/MAX, the Denver-based global real estate franchise, with his wife, Gail, in 1973. Since its founding, RE/MAX has become the leading franchisor of real estate offices worldwide and has expanded to over 9,000 offices in 110 countries with 140,000 sales agents. Even though Dave retired from a CEO position in 2018, he continues to lead the network as Chairman of the Board. He is also a New York Times bestselling author of a book called My Next Step: An Extraordinary Journey of Healing and Hope. It was a remarkable memoir chronicling his triumphant battle against a life-altering medical diagnosis. But he's also the author of a new book that come out in March of 2024 called The Perfect Ten. THIS EPISODE IS PERFECT FOR… anyone who wants to learn from a successful and seasoned leader. TODAY'S MAIN MESSAGE… in our conversation, Dave recounts his journey of building RE/MAX, the leading global real estate franchise. As he reflects on the past 50 years, he presents lessons for every listener, from how to forge a new path in an industry to hiring the right people and leading them well. Key takeaways: - Often, the reason we fail is not that we're bad at something but that we don't have a goal. - From single parents to community leaders, we all have areas of influence. - Connecting with leaders outside your industry will teach you things you'll never figure out independently. WHAT I LOVE MOST… you might be surprised to hear that Dave spent 10 years as a NASCAR driver and didn't start racing until his 50s! He is proof that it's never too late to explore a different path. Thank you for joining us for this week's message! As we continue our series focused on marriages, Pastor Chris gives us seven important questions that people in relationships are thinking, if not verbalizing. Some of these questions come up when a couple start dating, some as the marriage matures, but none of these questions go away, because both people in the relationship are continually growing and changing. We sometimes think of the wedding as the goal to be achieved, but we're wiser to see the wedding as the starting line of a lifelong relationship. If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! Thank you for joining us for this week's message! In this continuation of our series focused on marriages, Pastor Chris examines how God's plan for marriages, including physicality, was established in the Garden of Eden as Adam and Eve were unclothed and "not ashamed." While sin has distorted physical relationships, God's plan for marriage still creates and sustains couples who follow it. Pastor Chris describes four cornerstones of this plan, which are exclusivity, mutuality, intimacy of emotion, spirit, and body, and the covenant commitments between couples. If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! He opens up about overcoming incredible challenges, including a life-altering injury that transformed his perspective on leadership and life. We explore the value of selling hope, the importance of mentorship, and how great leaders inspire others to achieve their dreams. Dave's story is a testament to perseverance, independence, and finding purpose in helping others. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Thank you for joining us for this week's message! In this continuation of our series focused on marriages, Pastor Jeff explains how God has designed the marriage couple to function as a team. He gives some practical points for how couples can stay married, growing stronger together through life's experiences and focusing on successes. Philippians 4:8 instructs us to develop and sustain a positive attitude: "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! If you would like more information about our church, we're want to share. Please text the word "NEXT" to 407-77 so we can engage with you. Thank you for joining us for this week's message! In this continuation of our series focused on marriages, Pastor Chris digs deeper into God's ideals for marriage as given in the first chapters of Genesis. One of these ideals is that we grow through close relationships. These relationships can be found in marriages and families, and Psalm 68:6 rejoices that "God sets the lonely in families" so that all of God's children can benefit from the blessings of close relationships. Another of these ideas for marriages is an equal partnership between the spouses, described in these passages from Genesis, a partnership benefitting from the differences between the individuals in a marriage. We want to build our marriage relationships on God's wisdom and catch ourselves before we confuse cultural expectations about relationships with the dreams for marriage that God shares with us. If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! If you would like more information about our church, we're want to share. Please text the word "NEXT" to 407-77 so we can engage with you. Thank you for joining us for this week's message! We are starting a new series focused on marriages, and this first message uses Genesis 1 to explore God's plan for humanity, and more specifically, God's plan for marriage. As Nikki Ogden puts it, "Maybe marriage is less about finding the person who makes you perfectly happy and more about finding the one whom God uses to help you become holy; to look more like Jesus." Pastor Chris explains, "The starting point in understanding marriage is to understand the love story between God and His beloved, humanity." If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! If you would like more information about our church, we're want to share. Please text the word "NEXT" to 407-77 so we can engage with you. With his last album, "Perfect Ten," debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, anticipation is high for Mustard's next project.Travis Scott's Arrest and Social Media ShenanigansBeyond the studio, Travis Scott found himself in the headlines for a recent arrest in Florida for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. True to his form, Scott took a lighthearted approach, sharing a humorous mugshot edit on social media, even capitalizing on the situation with merchandise featuring the altered mugshot.Kendrick Lamar's Juneteenth Concert: A Celebration of West Coast Hip-HopThe hip-hop world witnessed a powerful moment of unity at Kendrick Lamar's Juneteenth concert at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The star-studded event featured fellow West Coast giants like Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy, YG, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and a surprise appearance by Dr. Dre himself. The highlight? A rousing performance of "Still D.R.E." and "California Love" with Dr. Dre joining Kendrick on stage. This concert further solidified Kendrick's commitment to West Coast unity, bringing together a diverse range of LA artists for a historic night.Lamar vs. Drake: The Feud Heats UpThe simmering feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake reached a boiling point with Lamar's final verse on his recent hit "Not Like Us." This verse critiques Drake for inauthenticity and even uses the term "colonizer." The longstanding beef, originating from Lamar's verse on Big Sean's "Control" in 2013, highlights the contrasting styles of these two hip-hop titans. Drake is known for his focus on wealth, memes, and constant collaborations, while Lamar is celebrated for his introspective concept albums and minimal social media presence.Join us as we unpack these stories and analyze their impact on the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
