Let's wade through the made-up distractions that are circulating this week. There's a rumor that Robert Kraft leaked the Seahawks sale news to distract the Seahawks this week… there's no chance the players and coaches are thinking about that at all. Klint Kubiak seems to be headed to Vegas after the Super Bowl and even that shouldn't be in his way this week. Realistically, the so-called distractions shouldn't even be on either teams radar and while there are a lot of obligations for both teams this week, both MacDonald and Vrabel will have their teams locked in. :30- It's Stove time! The Mariners lost on the road again and this one was on the pitching and the offense in the 10-2 loss. It's getting to be crunch time and the Mariners now sit 3 games behind Houston in the AL West and are just barely holding onto the 3rd wildcard spot, with the Rangers on their heels. :30- Mariners Morning After Luis Castillo had another disappointing outing and the offense got shutout until the 9th inning. :45- Bill Belichick made his college coaching debut last night as the UNC Tarheels faced the TCU Horned Frogs and it wasn't pretty for the Tarheels as they gave up more points than any Belichick team ever in the 48-14 loss.
