We are just 10 sleeps away from the Super Bowl and we can't underestimate this Patriots team. They've got a solid defense and the runner-up MVP and we haven't seen them without weather being a factor in a few weeks, not to mention they went up against 2 of the top 3 defenses in the league in the last two games and they found a way to win. Now, with the weather they've dealt with in the playoffs, we don't know that they're defense is as good as it's looked, but we do know that their offense is better than they've looked. Mike MacDonald will have his team ready to go and there's no way they're reading all their hype, but a lot of National and some local media think this thing is a lock for the Hawks. :30- It's time to hand out some more Scarlett D's and one of them hits close to home. :45- No, Ryan Leaf does not have a hall of fame vote… although a lot of people thought he did yesterday! The Philadelphia Eagles are NFC Champions and are heading to the Super Bowl! The Birds beat the Washington Commanders down at The Linc in the NFC Championship Game by a score of 55-23. It will be the second time in the past three years that the Eagles are heading to the Super Bowl. We gave our thoughts, themes, and grades after the game.Jalen Hurts performed incredibly well given the knee issue that was bothering him for much of the week after the game against the Rams. But the real offensive story from the game was 7 total rushing touchdowns thanks to Hurts, Saquon Barkley and a very resilient offensive line.Vic Fangio's defense, played incredible at all levels once again this week holding Jayden Daniels and the Commanders offense to only 23 points. The San Francisco 49ers are NFC Champions and heading to the franchise's 8th Super Bowl. They defeated the Detroit Lions 34-31, after trailing by double digits at halftime. Reporter: Christopher Alam, KQED Journalism in Los Angeles and the entire state of California was hit with a major blow this past week. The L.A. Times laid off more than 100 journalists in its newsroom. The cuts come at a time when journalism will play a vital role in informing the public about the upcoming 2024 election.
