More than 100 participants attended a special session on Sunday convened by the Knesset Land of Israel Caucus to discuss voluntary emigration of the population of Gaza, as proposed by US President Donald Trump. The objective of the hearing was to propose and promote practical steps to implement Trump’s plan, focusing on solutions that would provide long-term stability to the region through voluntary emigration of the Gazan population. The Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved on Sunday the advancement of a bill that would make it easier for Jews to purchase land in the West Bank. At present, settlers can only buy land in Judea and Samaria through companies registered with Israel's governing body there. The Land of Israel Caucus in the Knesset said, 'This bill will end years of discrimination by an Arab regime in Judea and Samaria.' KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Naomi Kahn, Director of the International Division at the Regavim movement, which has been pushing for the legislation for years. After last year's October 7 attack, the Israeli army has justified its brutal offensive in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas. But the aftermath of October 7 witnessed an escalation of violence in the West Bank, the Palestinian territory not controlled by Hamas. In the final episode of our three-part mini-series Gaza: One Year Later, Sreenivasan Jain investigates fears that the West Bank is emerging as the new Gaza.Jain reports from Qusra, a village in Nablus, in the West Bank, which witnessed the biggest number of Palestinians being killed by Israeli settlers in a 48 hour period in the aftermath of October 7th, even as Israeli forces looked on. As an activist from Qusra told Jain, “The soldiers are always with the settlers”. Jain speaks to a member of Regavim, an Israeli settler group that is trying to speed up the demolition of Palestinian structures in the West Bank. As Israel's aggression ramps up, it is triggering an upsurge of armed Palestinian resistance. Jain meets fighters of the newly formed Jenin Brigade, who say they are willing to die for their cause. In response to the decision by a number of European Union states to recognise a Palestinian state and the legal actions against Israel at the international courts in The Hague, Israel has legalised five settler outposts across Judea and Samaria. The government also decided to act against Palestinian Authority building infringements in a Wye Accords -designated nature reserve. KAN's Mark Weiss spoke about the measures with Naomi Kahn, director of International Relations at Regavim. (Photo:Reuters)See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
For this week's episode we interview Leila Shomali and Lara Kilani Leila Shomali is a Palestinian PhD candidate in International Law at Maynooth University Ireland and a member of the Good Shepherd Collective. Lara Kilani is a Palestinian-American researcher, PhD student, and is also a member of the Good Shepherd Collective. We interviewed them on January 12th to talk about their recent piece “Anti-Zionism As Decolonisation” which is published in the brand new debut physical edition of Ebb Magazine. We will also link a web version of the article in the show notes. I will also say quickly that just recently we hosted a conversation with Louis Allday on our YouTube channel that goes over some of the other topics and analyses in that issue of Ebb Magazine. I highly recommend it and I actually bought a couple copies so that I could share it with others. In this conversation we talk about both the terms anti-zionism and decolonization which have each faced their own forms of elite capture and distortion. Along the way we talk about settler colonialism, the Oslo Accords, NGO's, the limits of human rights discourse and international law for Palestinians, the problems of neoliberal identity reductionism, and why as Lara and Leila write, “the caretakers of anti-zionist thought are indigenous communities resisting colonial erasure.” I very much enjoyed this discussion and encourage people to check out and support the work of the Good Shepherd Collective which Leila and Lara are members of, and which they talk about through the conversation as well. We will link their work in the show notes. Leila and Lara reference a number of articles in their discussion and we will link those in the show notes. We do have a study group starting next week, where we will go over the US military counterinsurgency field manual Thursdays at 7:30 PM ET. If you are interested in that I put a link in our show notes. It is for our supporters whether you support us on patreon on or Youtube. This week, we're featuring a conversation with Mohammad Hureini (twitter / instagram), a young activist from Masafer Yatta, an area in the hills south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank in Palestine. Mohammad is a member of a non-violent group called Youth of Sumud that struggles to hold on to the sites and lives of Palestinian villages despite displacement by the Israeli military occupation as well as the illegal zionist settlements (like the neighboring Havat Ma'on) and their routine violence and impunity. For the hour, Mohammad speaks about the work of Youth of Sumud, their recent report co-published with The Good Shepherd on increased settler violence entitled Indigenous Erasure: How the zionist movement is using state sanctioned violence to eliminate the Palestinian communities of the West Bank, the South African genocide case against Israel in the International Court of Justice and other topics. The right-wing NGO Regavim has released a report claiming that the security concepts that enabled Hamas to carry out the October 7th massacre along the Gaza security fence are alive and well – along the security barrier of Judea and Samaria. Regavim says that with the support of the European Union, the Palestinian Authority has built tens of thousands of illegal structures along the “separation barrier” – all within 1 kilometer of Israeli communities in the central and coastal plain regions. She ends with a segment about Regavim and illegal arab construction happening all throughout Area C, and the foreign journalists who favor the Arabs, which is telling as to the way the rest of the world views Israel. The police together with the Israel Security Agency Shin Bet have arrested 2 residents of the Negev suspected of stealing 26,000 bullets from the Tse'elim army base. All the bullets were recovered. The theft was discovered when a hole in the fence was spotted during a routine patrol of the base's perimeter fence. The right-wing NGO Regavim, which describes itself as a “a public movement dedicated to the protection of Israel's national lands and resources,” described the incident as the latest example of “Bedouistan.” Regavim's International Director, Naomi Kahn, spoke about the incident with KAN's Mark Weiss. The High Court has yet again delayed a decision on evacuating the Bedouin encampment of Khan Al Ahmar. On Monday morning the court heard arguments in yet another round of the petition by the right-wing NGO Regavim demanding implementation of demolition orders issued by the state in 2009 to evacuate the illegal Bedouin outpost on Route 1 east of Jerusalem, in an area of the West Bank under full Israeli jurisdiction. In this week's episode, Caroline analyzes the efforts to thwart judicial reform in Israel and the threat from the newly appointed Attorney General to fire Netanyahu. She analyzes how over the past thirty years, the left transformed Israel's legal fraternity into a means to control government policies and Knesset legislation to compensate for its loss of power. In her main interview, Caroline speaks with Naomi Kahn the head of the International Division of Regavim about one of the critical areas that has suffered due to the throttle hold the radical left holds on policy through the legal fraternity. That issue is the wholesale destruction of Jewish antiquities and heritage sites in Judea and Samaria conducted by the Palestinian Authority as an official policy. If you want to understand the stakes of the current fight, and the toll the legal fraternity has taken on the record of Jewish history in Judea and Samaria – the cradle of Jewish civilization – you don't want to miss this episode.
For years, news media outlets have covered the topic of small Jewish outposts built in Judea & Samaria (West Bank), which Israeli law considers illegal. But these outposts, despite the media attention paid to them, pale in number compared to Palestinian outposts, built in part due to funds from the Palestinian Authority. According to Regavim, an Israeli organization which monitors such activity, there have been 80,000 such Palestinian structures built on this land since 2009, but it garners virtually no media attention. Our guest this week is Naomi Kahn, the Director of Regavim's International Division, who shares with us her organization's work in monitoring this construction, why the Israeli government has permitted such construction to take place for so many years, and how the incoming Knesset may potentially change this pattern. Natalie talks about the Chanukah holyday, the daytrip she co-sponsored with Regavim, and took participants out to see illegal Arab building and learn about the landscape; she also discusses the Youth Park she dedicated in Bruchin, and how each person can make a big difference in Israel, especially in Yehuda and Shomron. Naomi Linder Kahn of Regavim joins Eve Harow to update us on the newest theft and travesty of the Palestinian Authority, funded by the European Union, of course. Electricity from the Israel Electric Company is being used to illegally build on Israeli controlled land- including in designated IDF firing zones that have now become ‘traditional Arab neighborhoods and schools'. To add insult to injury, they're not even paying for it. Will the new Israeli government start enforcing international agreements, help stop human rights violations by the Arabs towards their own people and ours, and the pollution and desecration of Israel on both sides of the ‘Green Line'? See https://www.israelhayom.com/2022/11/24/how-israel-let-the-palestinians-get-free-electricity-while-taking-over-land/ For more upsetting details. And stay tuned.
A package of “good will gestures” presented by Defense Minister Benny Gantz will result in de facto Palestinian annexation of large sections of Area C – the portion of Judea and Samaria under full Israeli jurisdiction. This according to the right-wing NGO Regavim. It includes “legalization” of hundreds of illegally-built structures and expansion of Arab villages, isolating and choking existing Jewish communities and threatening the security and feasibility of the entire settlement enterprise. Naomi Kahn, Director of the International Division of Regavim, an Israeli NGO dedicated to protecting Israel's land resources, told reporter Arieh O'Sullivan that the package if it goes through would reward the Palestinian Authority's continued efforts to create facts on the ground and establish a de facto Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict includes a perpetual contest over rights to land. Regavim leads the Zionist fight in several ways: control of land, influence over policy, and court battles. Which are the main Palestinian organizations engaged in this battle? What are current trends?
Israel National News - Arutz Sheva travelled to Southern Israel with Regavim to witness up close what many call "loss of governance in the Negev,” and to find out whether construction of the three communities the government is planning for the Bedouins will solve the problem or make it worse. “We must understand that this is a national issue – there is an illegal community spread out over hundreds of thousands of dunams, and the State of Israel should be looking decades into the future, not only at the here and now,” says Avraham Binyamin, Head of Policy, Regavim. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yaar-ben-emmett/support

As if things are not crazy enough, the terror-supporting "palestinians" just "labeled" two Israeli non-profit organizations "terrorist organizations", including Regavim. Wait until you hear the truth! Speaking with Naomi Kahn, Director of the International Department at Regavim.

Regavim’s Naomi Linder Kahn joins Eve Harow on a One Israel Fund webinar to discuss how a state of lawlessness within the State of Israel has brought us to today’s difficult situation of anarchy within mixed cities. This lack of political will has doubly manifested itself in Judea and Samaria, where the EU acts unimpeded as it blatantly funds the illegal Palestinian Authority takeover of areas under internationally recognized Israeli control. Regavim puts in tremendous effort to uncover the facts on the ground and bring them (repeatedly) to the attention of the proper authorities to right the wrongs. The situation is untenable on so many levels. Get involved. It’s not just about Israel. It likely never was.
Judea and Samaria, the heartland of Israel, has 2 opposing pulls or directions on it right now. On one hand, the Arabs are illegally building and squatting, and making facts on the ground. On the other hand, there is talk that PM Netanyahu may take some steps forward in applying more Jewish sovereignty there - as he should - and he could do this under the umbrella of the Abraham Accords. But would this just be electioneering? -with guests: Nadia Matar - Co-Founder of The Sovereignty Movement at www.RIBONUT.co.il and Naomi Linder Kahn - Director of the International Division of Regavim, an Israeli non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting Israel's resources and preserving Israeli sovereignty, at www.REGAVIM.org The Tamar Yonah Show 15MAR2021 - PODCAST
