Typically we start our show a half hour before the new episode airs live each week, with recap from the previous episode, and discussion of what is to come tonight. At 9:00 pm, we'll go dark or mute, and watch the new episode together, then give episode ratings from 1-10 and commentary during the commercial breaks. We will also give our listeners trivia on the show as well as the cast and crew, including bios, birthdays, and more. Our show is SPOILER and COMIC FREE. Please don't discuss either any spoilers or stuff from the comics in the chatroom or on the air - we prefer our discussions, reactions, and comments, to be just about what we know from the show that's presented. Welcome to S10E16! We did not get to begin Season 6 of Fear, which begins next Sunday Oct 11th. We did not yet get to premiere the new 3rd series, World Beyond, which will follow tonight's show at 10 pm! Tonight's episode of TWD is entitled, "A Certain Doom." Official AMC Synopsis: "Beta engages the final battle of the Whisperer War." Tonight's episode of WB is S1E1, "Brave." Synopsis: Iris welcomes an enigmatic ally to their community while Hope questions the visitor's motives. A message upends the sisters' worldview, forcing them to decide between the safety of their home and the uncertainty of the world beyond.

Star Trek Discovery Podcast, featuring Picard and Lower Decks
Star Trek: Lower Decks – Season 1 Episode 2 – Envoys We’re back with the second episode of Lower Decks, titled Envoys! Sorry for the lateness of this episode. Unfortunately, we had to record four days late, and I already had a full week. A strange energy sphere… The cold open was interesting, with an energy being strolling in and looking like the being from the TNG episode The Child, who Mariner manipulates to give them a new tricorder. It then seems to be absorbed by Captain Freeman, in a Tilly spore-like absorption. We’re both pretty sure that we will be seeing this entity again later this season. Boimler & Mariner escort a Klingon General… Boimler gets the assignment to escort General K’orin to Tulgana IV, only to find Mariner is also going. We see Mariner’s ease at handling every situation, while Boimler fails miserably. There’s a very funny scene that describes about 50 plots of Trek episodes, and then Mariner thinks a Ferengi is a Bolian, even with the over the top “Hu-mann” from TNG Season 1. It gives Boimler the confidence boost he needs, and we find out that she took one for the team. Rutherford’s career fair… The idea of Rutherford changing careers just so he can accompany Tendi to watch a pulsar seems more than a little far fetched, but it does bring us several funny scenes. The bridge simulation was especially laugh out loud funny, and I did enjoy the “Smorgasborg”. Medical was less interesting, but still interesting. Rutherford, with his cyborg talents, would make a great security officer, but he would rather hang out in a Jefferies tube. Engineering, through and through. He still reminds me a lot of LaForge. Star Trek Discovery Podcast, featuring Picard and Lower Decks
Star Trek: Lower Decks – Season 1 Episode 1 – Second Contact We’re back with a new podcast, sort of. Rather than start a new podcast feed, we are putting the Lower Decks episodes on both the Picard and Discovery feeds. That way, you won’t have to start subscribing to a new podcast feed. However, we are calling these episodes The Star Trek Lower Decks Podcast. For the first episode, we are covering Season 1, Episode 1, titled Second Contact. About Lower Decks… Welcome Kyle!!! You may remember from our episode covering the two animated Short Treks, Ruthie is not a fan of animation, so she’s sitting out the episodes that cover Star Trek: Lower Decks. Kyle McAdams, who’s been hosting Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through since Season 3, will be taking over co-hosting duties for Lower Decks. Kyle’s been a Star Trek fan We may need to occasionally bring on guests, especially near the end of the season and the beginning of Discovery. Ruthie will return for Discovery Season 3! Don’t worry! Ruthie is not leaving us. She’s just not into animated shows. She will be returning to The Star Trek Discovery Podcast for Season 3 Episode 1 when it airs October 15th. You may go through some Ruthie withdrawal until then, but it’s not that long to wait, though it might seem like it with Coronavirus still plaguing us. Who did the music for Lower Decks? Orions in Starfleet? Mahan or McMahan? I mentioned I’d probably put in the blog post who did the music and theme for Lower Decks. The answer is Chris Westlake. He also worked with Mike McMahan on Mike’s other show, Solar Opposites, which airs on Hulu. We did see an Orion in the 2009 Star Trek film at Starfleet Academy (I’m not sure if she was studying there or not), but that’s in the Kelvin Timeline. I neglected to mention that Orion women are supposed to put out very potent pheromones that males of many humanoid species are susceptible to, but Ensign Tendi didn’t seem to have this issue. Speaking of Mike McMahan, I did something I don’t do too often. Every time I said his name in this episode, I pronounced it wrong. I believe it’s pronounced Mick-mah-hann. It also might be pronounced like Ed McMahon or Jim McMahon. I’ll confirm how to pronounce this name next week. Synchronicity! We recorded this episode for our Patreon (patreon.com/probingancientaliens)mere weeks before the Executive Director of MUFON was arrested for soliciting a 13 year old girl for sexual activities - so what better time to give y'all this episode of Probing Deeper so you can watch something where you actually KNOW one of the stars of the show is a convicted sex offender! Yaaaaaaaay! (Original episode description from Patreon) We dive into the MUFON created / written / starring show Hangar 1 (both seasons are on Netflix if you want to check it out or watch S1E1 along with this ep) at the behest of one of you beloved Patrons! This show wants to be interesting...but struggles in that regard, for sure, and seems "too little too late" in the world of UFOlogy, as most of these cases have been discussed on countless other shows, including Ancient Aliens. There's also a definite porn doctor vibe to most of the MUFON guys, but in a more subtle way than the core group of Ancient Astronaut Theorists. But I think that's how they getcha!

S1E1 continues with our streaming summer binge - Jen leads us into the science fiction-leaning world of I Am Not Okay With This (Netflix), Amy showcases Amazon's first innovative animated series Undone (Amazon Prime), and Allie tours the country of food in Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi (Hulu).
The world is justifiably heavy at the moment so S1E1 takes a quick escape into the world of comedy. We delve into a world where people can still hang out in Love Life (HBO Max), The Great (Hulu), and Space Force (Netflix).

Welcome to our Rebinge of Star Trek DS9: Emissary This is our first full episode rebinge of Star Trek DS9! We are starting at the beginning, of course, with the DS9 pilot entitled Emissary! We’re introduced to the space station Deep Space Nine and its main characters of Sisko, Jake, Miles, Dax, Kira, Odo and Quark. We also get a view of DS9 and Kim thinks it’s a bit of a dump. We do spend quite a bit of time cleaning up the place after all! James is (naturally) quite in love with the whole thing from the very beginning. This episode of DS9 touches on some heavy stuff like grief and PTSD. And it nearly convinces us that time isn’t linear. The show begins to build the foundation of Sisko as a character and gives us glimpses of him at his best and at his worst. We also get a look at the Cardassians and their burdensome costumes and we know pretty quickly we don’t like them. We roll our sleeves up, just like Miles, for a very deep dive into this super-sized episode of the classic show. Get ready for Cardassians, an angry woman, wormholes and a lot of inappropriate ear touching. So. Much. Ear. Touching. Kim is truly outraged by this development. And oh yeah, James gets goose bumps when we find out who the Emissary is (a thing he already knew, but he is so giddy with excitement to relearn it). You can see that even Sisko is a little suspicious of Kai Opaka. What’s this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. Listen to our intro episode if you want to know a little more about us. Next time… We dig into Season 1 Episode 2 of DS9: Past Prologue. Pop Kannon's 5th installment of the S1E1 series is all about Dexter! The Robert, Jordan, Andrew, and special guest Paul dig into everything they liked about this pilot, from the characters, to the writing and dialogue, to the plot. We make a few minor nitpicks, too. On the premier episode of "We Get It He's Superman," we gab about S1E1, the unimaginatively-named "Pilot." New episode is up now and friends, it covers some dark stuff. We watched S1E1 of the British adaptation of Wallander and really got into the egregious depiction of “man pain.” We discuss whether the Swedish Chef is offensive, the “austerity and bleakness” of the visual landscape, how it took longer than it should have to realize it was set in Sweden, and come up with cool nicknames for Tom Hiddleston. Katy has to mention Eurovision, Carrie drops some Shakespeare knowledge, Maddy hears robots that don’t exist, and Mack lists some medieval deaths. We also talk about how we laugh at our own jokes, how there are hypothetically people we would hit with an axe, why you shouldn’t angrily scroll through Twitter, and how the best things about the show were…the acting and design? (Carrie really did not like this episode.) However, we do applaud the use of privacy screens and the occasionally nuanced presentation of masculinity. Also Maddy comes up with new ghost sounds! OoooooOOOooo! Originally recorded March 2018. TW: Self harm, suicide, incestual abuse, human trafficking, sex workers, murder, Native American stereotypes (including scalping), car accident stories
Who are you? Like, really, WHO are you? Culture teaches us to measure ourselves based on what we do, how much money we earn, and how many follow our "influence" on social media. Kingdom teaches us to measure ourselves based on how much we are known and loved by God. This episode delves into how failure, shame and disappointment [in God's hands] helped to redefine my identity. S1E1

- An introduction - Welcome friends - in this short introduction you'll meet our two hosts: Kerry, our resident O.C fan, knowledge base and fountain of wisdom, and Heather, our O.C virgin, out to discover everything that Newport Beach has to offer. We are a weekly podcast watching (or re-watching) each and every episode starting from the very start of S1 E1.
Pop Kannon's 4th installment of the S1E1 series is all about LOST. The guys dig into everything they liked about this pilot, from the characters, to the writing and dialogue, to the plot. We make a few minor nitpicks, too. For this one, it was even split, as 2 of us had seen the show in its entirety, while 2 of us have never watched before, which leads to an interesting and fun discussion! Первый выпуск подкаста "Старый какодемон". S1E1 - Рождение Такодемона. В нем мы обсудим Doom 1 и 2, HoMM 3, Disciples 1 и 2, Project Warlock, Ion Fury, Dusk
Join Nili for her first podcast of 5780 as she discusses S1E1 of the hit television show Shtisel. Acronyms, terms, and other topics will be discussed, using the first episode of Shtisel as a springboard to learn a little bit of Hebrew (and laugh a little too!) Enjoy!
You didn't ask for it, but we did it anyway. A reunion of S1E1, Mack and Taylor are back to chat with Josh and Chad about the joys of life. Need relationship advice? We got it. Need a new, refreshed way to think of your favorite season? We have that too. We might just rename this podcast 'Dangerous', because it's not 'potentially' anymore. NEW: WE HAVE MERCH! Come grab a hoodie, t-shirt, coffee mug, sticker and more, all while supporting your favorite podcast. Visit the store today at https://teespring.com/stores/potentially-dangerous-store

Pop Kannon makes a triumphant return to the S1E1 series with an episode all about Sons of Anarchy! The guys dig into everything they liked about this pilot, from the action, to the writing and dialogue, to the characters. We also nitpick a few things we didnt like, and Brian makes a forecast about what happens later in the series. For this one, just one of us had seen the show in its entirety, and the rest have only ever seen this one episode, which leads to some great discussion! Be sure to subscribe and leave a review! As a continuation of S1E1, in this episode we explore further the idea of paying attention to your internal signals and noticing when you're off balance. How do we know when we're off balance? How do we know what we need?
Welcome back to Death by Champagne, the podcast here to keep you up at night! This week we bring you some hot button topics and some major tragedies, lots of young lives lost in this episode. Liv covers the murders of Nick Brady and Haile Kifer, along with the disturbing audio file of their deaths. Mack brings us the 25 year old cold case of the abduction and murder of Tammy Zywicki. This episode contains foul language, discussions about murder, robbery, gun violence and rape. We’ll do our best to stay on track, but the bottles are popped! Remi presenterer dokumentaren The Birth of Sake (2015) som mest sannsynlig har flydd under radaren til de aller, aller fleste.https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3903322/Links:Quicksand: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8686106/ Fyre:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9412098/ Black Mirror, S1 E1:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2089051/?ref_=ttep_ep1 Triple Frontier:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1488606/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_Frontier The Place Beyond the Pines:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1817273/ Leave No Trace:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3892172/ Now It’s Dark:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5969642/ Annihilation:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2798920/ Andrei Tarkovsky:https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001789/ Tootsie:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084805/ Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064115/ Green Room:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4062536/Bøker:Story av Robert McKee:https://www.amazon.com/Story-Structure-Substance-Principles-Screenwriting-ebook/dp/B0042FZVOYThe Art of Dramatic Writing av Lajos Egri:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030H7U94/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i0Save The Cat! av Blake Snyder:https://www.amazon.com/Save-Last-Book-Screenwriting-Youll/dp/1932907009Annet:Masterclass:https://www.masterclass.com/ --- || Ønsker du å støtte podcasten økonomisk tar vi imot
