From there, I share a local Colorado story, reminding you that Secretary of State Jena Griswold is still in some deep trouble over publishing voting machine BIOS passwords and then trying to hide it. But, she's emblematic of everything wrong in the Deep State and shows us what Donald Trump is going up against. I then do a deep dive into the smear campaign the DOJ and the FBI ran against Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) a few years ago, which is now being uttered all over again now that Donald Trump wants him to be the US Attorney General. Similarly, Pete Hegseth is being called a “known white supremacist” on MSNBC, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says Tulsi Gabbard and Donald Trump are pro-war, and the Left is melting over the announcement that RFK, Jr. is going to be asked to run Health and Human Services. Fitness guru and health expert Jillian Michaels destroys them with stunning truth bombs. All the media has left is to go back to what they always use – fear. They need to throw as fear as they can over Trump's picks, because they cannot afford to lose power or control. It's like no one in the Legacy/mainstream media remembers the election results from last week. The culture inside the beltway is of elitist ideologues who really cannot stand the rest of the country. On a positive note, with so many people in government hearing about the appointments, their “great plan” is to threaten to quit their jobs. I don't think they really understand how a threat is supposed to work. Telling us you are so unhappy with the person chosen to clean house that you plan to take yourself out to the curb isn't exactly going to cause anyone to change the plan. Todd McMurtry was a lawyer, but he had never practiced defamation law before legacy media outlets demonized 16-year-old Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann for the crime of "smirking" while wearing a Make America Great Again hat. Now, McMurtry has published a book about defamation law—a book he recommends as a kind of "car insurance" for cancel culture. "I think that you should treat it like buying car insurance," McMurtry tells "The Daily Signal Podcast" of his new book, "Dismissed: How Media Agendas and Judicial Bias Conspire to Undermine Justice." He warns that most Americans with a traditional values approach to life should expect to face attempts to "cancel" them. He notes that smear campaigns happen to "everybody," from high school students to college athletes to professionals to housewives. "I've dealt with dozens and dozens of these people, and it happens all the time." Rich notes that if Democrats feel as though Harris is incapable of defeating Trump, they won't hesitate to replace her as their candidate. Be safe,' he texted to a group of colleagues at 4:19 p.m. on July 13. He exited the second floor of a warehouse that overlooked the campaign rally site, leaving two other countersnipers behind. Outside, the officer noticed a young man with long stringy hair sitting on a picnic table near the warehouse.
