A delegação da Fundação Gulbenkian em Paris organiza este fim de semana na capital francesa um festival de música e debates à volta dos 50 anos da independência dos diferentes países africanos de língua portuguesa, dando carta branca a Dino D'Santiago para trazer os sons mais actuais do funáná e do batuque. O Festival Lisboa nu bai Paris vai decorrer Sábado e Domingo no espaço Gaîté Lyrique. Esta foram duas noites imaginadas por Dino D'Santiago para encerrar o ciclo dos 60 anos da Fundação Gulbenkian em Paris, mas também para celebrar os 50 anos da independência de São Tomé e Príncipe, Moçambique, Angola e Cabo Verde. A directora da delegação da Fundação Gulbenkian em Paris, Teresa Castro, disse em entrevista à RFI que o músico luso-cabo-verdiano teve "carta branca" para organizar as festividades. "Achámos que seria uma forma bonita de, na verdade, assinalar mais uma vez os nossos 60 anos, dando ao Dino D'Santiago uma carta branca para ele organizar esta seleção musical. E temos muita vontade, obviamente, de assinalar também estes 50 anos das independências dos países africanos lusófonos, entre os quais, obviamente, Cabo Verde. Vamos assinalar este evento com um debate entre Dino D'Santiago e Luísa Semedo, que é filósofa, que é também jornalista. Em torno sobretudo da figura do Amílcar Cabral, que foi de facto uma figura e é ainda uma figura importantíssima na história das independências africanas, um teórico importante também da revolução. E temos vontade", detalhou Teresa Castro. Nas duas noites haverá actuações de artistas como Fattu Djakité, Kady, Nidia, EU.CLIDES ou Umafricana. No Sábado, às 17:30, acontecerá um debate entre Dino D'Santiago e Luísa Semedo, filósofa e activista instalada em Paris, sobre Amílcar Cabral. O convite é aberto às comunidades lusófonas em França, mas também aos franceses que apesar de conhecerem bem a morna, podem nestas duas noites conhecer melhor o que de mais actual se passa na música lusófona, nomeadamente entre Lisboa e a Praia. "É um festival que esperamos que atraia as comunidades. Antes de mais, as comunidades cabo-verdiana, portuguesa, mas todas as comunidades dos países africanos lusófonos. Mas, obviamente, é um festival que está mais do que aberto ao público francês que, no que diz respeito. Na verdade, no que diz respeito à música cabo verdiana, os franceses conhecem muito bem a morna, mas talvez conheçam menos bem todo este panorama extremamente dinâmico em torno do batuque e do funaná. Portanto, estão todos obviamente convidados a participar nesta festa", concluiu a directora da delegação da Fundação Gulbenkian em Paris.

The good news is that Forest managed to get their first Premier League goals in ages! The less positive element is that, despite the quick salvo, the Reds didn't manage to hold on for all three points against a resurgent Manchester United team. George and Baz report after attending the City Ground encounter which saw Sean Dyche name an unchanged team, and then deliver what must have been a strong half-time team talk; and also saw the Reds once again concede a dodgy corner, but fail to defend the resulting set piece. A disappointing afternoon for the Reds, but let's be honest, we always lose at Bournemouth, don't we? It was a historic European night at the City Ground as Sean Dyche brought a refreshed attitude and a return to some of the simpler things in football, but without resorting to dinosaur tactics. Despite Porto playing some neat stuff, they never got the chance to maintain their unbeaten run as the Reds inflicted their first defeat of the season through penalties from Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus. Neste ano em que são assinalados os 50 anos das independências de Moçambique, Cabo Verde, São Tomé e Príncipe e de Angola, debruçamo-nos sobre a reflexão que estas celebrações têm ocasionado ao longo das diversas iniciativas que têm sido organizadas nestes últimos meses em Portugal e nos países de África Lusófona. Estas comemorações coincidem, em Portugal, com um momento político de crescente crispação à direita, nomeadamente com a nova lei de nacionalidade que torna mais complexo o acesso à cidadania portuguesa, enquanto nos países de África Lusófona, o balanço dos últimos 50 anos é feito de contrastes, entre as narrativas dominantes e o surgimento de olhares críticos. Foi sobre este momento particular que conversamos com Sheila Khan, socióloga, investigadora e professora na Universidade Lusófona do Porto, especializada nas questões do pós-colonialismo e cidadania no espaço lusófono. Ao considerar que ainda permanece muito por fazer, a estudiosa coloca em destaque o dinamismo das novas gerações dos afro-descendentes em Portugal que têm impulsionado questionamentos e novos ângulos de análise do legado comum de Portugal e África. RFI: Neste ano em que se comemoram os 50 anos das independências de vários países de África Lusófona, em que estado está a reflexão sobre a história colonial em Portugal? Sheila Khan: O estado ainda está muito incompleto, embora já tenhamos muitos avanços. Existem muitos estudiosos que vieram das ex-colónias africanas portuguesas e que fizeram dos seus percursos, quer biográficos, quer académicos, compromissos de memória, de investigação e de uma cidadania maior, isto é, estiveram sempre ligados a partir do espaço português e também europeu. As suas vivências familiares e aos seus países originais, alguns de nascimento, mas outros também de originalidade em termos de família, trouxeram sempre esse pensamento para o seu percurso académico, para a sua investigação, para os seus desafios e também, acima de tudo, para esta interpelação perante vários pactos que são pactos que vão evoluindo ao longo do tempo na sociedade portuguesa. E eu refiro-me aos pactos de silêncio. E era importante aqui sermos muito cuidadosos, porque estes silêncios não foram os mesmos. A sua densidade e a sua especificidade não foi a mesma. Os anos 70 e os anos 80 não são os anos de hoje. Hoje há uma maior visibilidade, uma maior projecção e até um maior espaço de interacção com a esfera pública. Vemos efectivamente várias comemorações. Eu estive recentemente, a semana passada até, na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, onde foi organizada pela professora Ana Mafalda Leite e pelo professor Lucílio Manjate, uma iniciativa que foi dedicada aos 50 anos da literatura moçambicana. Isto significa que o espaço público de interacção, de pensamento e de produção do saber histórico entre Portugal e as suas ex-colónias e os legados coloniais tem sido maior e tem sido mais mediatizado e projectado também para fora das academias. E também é preciso não esquecer que nesta janela temporal, que é um caminho também temporal, temos aqui outros sujeitos sociológicos que eu chamaria de sujeitos afro-descendentes diaspórica que são pessoas que ou nasceram em África e vieram de lá muito pequeninos ou então já nasceram aqui, foram formados e educados no espaço português europeu, mas continuam pela partilha e pela relação que têm com os seus familiares, assumem-se como uma espécie de cumpridores e de curadores de uma determinada memória e de um compromisso de memória. E também eles têm feito um trabalho muito importante. Eu chamaria até de vibrante. Neste momento estamos a viver uma altura muito vibrante em termos desta interpelação e destes contributos, vários dos afro-descendentes, interpelando a historicidade portuguesa, interpelando os seus silêncios, interpelando acima de tudo, esta ideia de que a história da democracia portuguesa, tal como a história das independências africanas, tem de ser muito maior, tem que ser muito mais representativa e eles têm um papel a desempenhar na redefinição, na reinterpretação dessas várias histórias. E as manifestações artísticas têm sido infinitamente ricas e infinitamente partilhadas no espaço público. Eu vou citar aqui um exemplo actual, mas é um exemplo que já vem sido construído de uma forma lenta, mas de uma forma robusta e sólida. Começamos lá atrás com o Joaquim Arenas, escritor cabo-verdiano. Depois tivemos, obviamente, o grande "boom" da literatura dos retornados. Tivemos a Isabela Figueiredo e a Dulce Maria Cardoso. Mas, curiosamente, temos aqui um momento excepcional, com várias vozes, nomeadamente a Djamila Pereira de Almeida, a Luísa Semedo, a Gisela Casimiro e hoje temos uma figura que ninguém consegue escapar a ela, que é o Dino D'Santiago, que está a ser uma voz muito representativa dessas outras histórias silenciadas, desses outros pactos de silêncio, quer familiar, quer público, e que estão a vir à superfície da luz e que têm convidado diferentes experiências humanas, sociais e culturais, identitários e geracionais para pensar o estado da arte da maturidade portuguesa e também o estado da arte da maturidade dos países africanos, hoje independentes. Dino D'Santiago, como afro-descendente, tem feito do seu percurso musical também um aqueduto, uma ferramenta de inspiração e de outro tipo de pensamento. Criou uma ópera que é o "Adilson", em que vai efectivamente colocar o dedo em pontos cruciais e que ainda magoam esta ideia de cidadania portuguesa. Portanto, o "Adilson" é a história baseada numa pessoa real que, mesmo tendo crescido e vivido décadas em Portugal, continua sem lhe ser reconhecida a cidadania portuguesa. Mas também agora publicou um livro, "Cicatrizes", que tem percorrido e está a viajar pelo país e está inclusivamente a ser falado, discutido, debatido em pontos importantes e em pontos descentralizados do país. Isto é um caminho lento, mas está a ser um caminho, a meu ver, robusto, sólido e, acima de tudo, um caminho que se espelha nesta ideia de que é preciso que haja uma cidadania representativa, uma cidadania clarividente das muitas histórias dentro das histórias oficiais que estes muitos países ex-colonizados e colonizadores nos quiseram de alguma forma "vender" e de alguma forma manipular as nossas mentes. Acho que este é um momento extraordinário, embora citando Samora Machel, "a luta continua" e vai ter de continuar, porque há muitas questões, muitos assuntos e nós viemos agora com este debate sobre a lei da nacionalidade. Isto vai espicaçar, isto vai magoar, isto vai desafiar muitas sensibilidades, umas que vão no sentido da fraternidade e da hospitalidade e da solidariedade. Mas estamos num contexto que se vai defender essas outras sensibilidades que querem o fechamento, o controlo, a vigilância e, acima de tudo, o discurso da desconfiança, da suspeita e da instabilidade desse outro no tecido social português. RFI: Antes de abordarmos a questão política, queria ainda voltar um pouco atrás. Estava a falar da expressividade das vozes de afro-descendentes na sociedade portuguesa em termos culturais e nomeadamente, na literatura e na música. Qual é essa expressividade numa cultura, digamos assim, mais popular, como, por exemplo, o cinema, as ficções que nós vemos na televisão? Como é que é representado o afro-descendente ou simplesmente a África lusófona? Sheila Khan: Penso que ainda estamos muito aquém daquilo que se poderia falar, de uma representatividade. Nós temos uma representatividade, se me permite, a expressão, muito anoréctica. A RDP África e RDP África efectivamente fazem um trabalho excepcional, assim como a RFI. Em Portugal, os meios de comunicação ainda continuam muito esquecidos ou distraídos desta riqueza sociológica, cultural, identitária e, acima de tudo, geracional. Porque estamos a esquecer que muitos destes contributos que estão a emergir dos afro-descendentes e de gente jovem, embora uma juventude muitas vezes nela já madura, de 30, 40 ou 50 anos, mas a verdade é que os que aparecem é que são nivelados para um estatuto mais visível. São pessoas que já têm uma projecção muitas vezes internacional. Eu falo, por exemplo, dos Calema. Falo, por exemplo, Dino D'Santiago. Falo, por exemplo, da Selma Uamusse. Mas também há muitos outros aqui à volta que têm feito trabalhos muito importantes, mas que não conseguem entrar neste "mainstream". Mas também esse "mainstream" comunicacional ou dos meios de comunicação, também é verdade, não os convida a estar presentes em debates, em espaços de reflexão pública, no espaço da cidadania comunicativa. Portanto, continuamos ainda muito ancorados a meios de comunicação, cujo carácter e personalidade é muito virado para a relação das diásporas africanas e populações africanas. E volto a repetir a RTP África e RDP África. Mas os outros meios de comunicação ainda não têm a representatividade que nos pudesse animar e estimular. Porque, como diz bem o ditado popular "uma andorinha não faz a primavera". Como dizia recentemente numa entrevista o rapper General D, "não é por termos uma pessoa afro-descendente nos partidos políticos principais da sociedade portuguesa que devemos aplaudir e celebrar a representatividade". A representatividade requer uma metodologia da igualdade, de algum equilíbrio na presença daqueles que são convidados a estar para um determinado compromisso, para uma determinada função e papel e, portanto, nos meios de comunicação, neste momento, esse compromisso é ainda muito frágil, muito volátil e, acima de tudo, eu diria profundamente e lamentavelmente desequilibrado. RFI: O que é que diz o momento político que se vive em Portugal sobre o estado da reflexão da sociedade portuguesa relativamente à sua relação com África, com os afro-descendentes e com a sua história comum? Estou a pensar, designadamente naquilo que estava a referir, a lei da nacionalidade, mas também o grau de participação dos afro-descendentes, por exemplo, em termos de candidatos para eleições, etc. Sheila Khan: Este momento político, e ainda bem que faz essa pergunta, porque vivo e habito nesse momento político, como tantos outros de nós, é um momento político que demonstra alguma secura e alguma falta de imaginação sociológica e histórica perante um legado extenso, infinito, de várias narrativas e de várias histórias e, acima de tudo, dos contributos destas antigas colónias e dos contributos das suas populações para a maturidade, para o crescimento de Portugal. E, portanto, eu acho que este contexto político hoje é um contexto que eu não chamaria de "distraído", acho que é muito pouco. Eu chamaria de muito pouco formado eticamente, moral e historicamente mal formado perante estas populações. E esta lei da nacionalidade, que depois põe toda a gente no mesmo saco, demonstra exactamente essa falta de imaginação, de sensibilidade e acima de tudo, de reconhecimento destas populações, porque estamos também armadilhados ou caímos na armadilha de não perceber os muitos "outros" que vêm de diferentes contextos, contextos que nos aproximam, que nos tornam fraternais e contextos que nos distanciam e, portanto, pomos todos no mesmo saco. Nivelamos todas estas pessoas na mesma categoria de "estrangeiro" e "estranho", um "outro" que vem provocar turbulências, instabilidade e insegurança e perdemos um pouco o compromisso perante também aquilo que as instituições nos vêm devolver. É que, estatisticamente, estes "outros" que estão a ser aqui rotulados como agentes potenciais de instabilidade e insegurança têm contribuído para o tecido da Segurança Social. E a pergunta é: como é que um país que se fez a partir de outros países e da relação com outros países -e não foram apenas os países africanos- não consegue hoje compreender e reconhecer esta ideia de que verdadeiramente somos maiores e nobremente maiores, incluindo em nós outras vozes, outras narrativas e reconhecendo-as como nossas. E, portanto, este tipo de contexto político denota, acima de tudo, uma imaturidade. Uma infantilidade histórica. E, finalmente, uma certa arrogância, quase que muito pouco sólida. Porque às vezes há pessoas arrogantes que têm argumentos. Mas esta é uma arrogância pouco fundamentada, pouco estruturada em dados concretos. E depois temos efectivamente, por detrás dos políticos, também temos cidadãos cuja formação e percepção do mundo também não vêm de todo contribuir para esta ideia de uma cidadania maior, muito mais nobre e rica. Bem pelo contrário. É que esquecemo-nos que por detrás dos políticos e por detrás dos governantes, há cidadãos que se formaram, que estudaram, que pertencem a famílias, a grupos e comunidades. E eles trazem também para o espaço da política todas essas percepções, estereótipos, preconceitos que, de alguma forma e infelizmente, porque o contexto também europeu, é o contexto global, assim o favorece. E retomando um pouco a segunda pergunta que me fez, é inevitável a necessidade de uma acção e de um pensamento vibrante, activo, cívico e atento das comunidades afro-descendentes. RFI: Vamos agora fazer um pouco o caminho inverso. Nós falamos do contexto português. Como é que é na África lusófona? Em termos de narrativa, o que é que predomina? Há também essa vitalidade para contar outros lados da história que até agora não tinham sido explorados, pelo menos em Portugal? Sheila Khan: Essa é uma pergunta que se nos liga tanto uns e outros, porque assim como as comunidades diaspóricas e os afro-descendentes e outras populações estão a combater e a refutar e a incomodar a História, também em África o mesmo acontece, nomeadamente na África lusófona, porque nós vemos que, e é preciso não esquecer que o factor demográfico tem aqui uma influência profundíssima e importante, que é os jovens estão a reivindicar a responsabilidade dos seus governantes, porque é preciso não ignorar o seguinte: havia no tempo das independências, a promessa de uma melhoria de vida, de igualdade, de estabilidade, de fraternidade. O que nós vemos nos nossos países lusófonos é que isso não aconteceu e, portanto, tal como estes outros que são os nossos na diáspora, os africanos no continente africano também estão eles a incomodar uma determinada história que foi feita, que é a história de uma determinada hegemonia africana, em que os governantes mantêm-se quase que numa perpetuidade no poder. Basta olhar para Moçambique, para Angola, a Frelimo e o MPLA e, portanto, toda esta cidadania que tem por detrás esta vitalidade de uma demografia jovem está também a incomodar as histórias e as narrativas oficiais destas nações independentes. Basta olhar também para a instabilidade política e não só política que estamos a testemunhar na Guiné-Bissau e com a aproximação das eleições, acho que estamos todos muito preocupados com tudo o que está a acontecer e o que aconteceu recentemente com o ex-presidente da Liga dos Direitos Humanos, que foi espancado, que foi brutalmente violentado. Mas podemos também olhar para outra situação de São Tomé e Príncipe, Cabo Verde. E aqui é importante distinguir isto. Cabo Verde aparece sempre nos rankings internacionais, no que toca a direitos humanos, uma boa governação, é sempre o país da lusofonia que aparece bem melhor. Mas não quero distanciar-me e não quero esquecer a sua pergunta e dizer que, tal como nós, aqui no espaço português e europeu, estamos a querer incomodar a história que traz consigo silêncios, esquecimentos, também os nossos países independentes estão a ser incomodados por esta cidadania activa pró-activa, porque eles também se esqueceram de incluir na história pós-independência muitas outras histórias que foram necessárias, que contribuíram para as independências. Acima de tudo, esqueceram-se dos grandes projectos de igualdade social, igualdade económica e o que nós vemos hoje nos nossos países é o contrário, o oposto de tudo isto que foi prometido e, portanto, de alguma forma, embora com esta distância enormíssima em termos de quilómetros, há uma fraternidade e há uma solidariedade e há uma empatia e uma consciência de ambos os lados. Há a urgência e a premência de incomodar a história e incomodar a hegemonia de uma história que se quer fazer autoritária, que se quer fazer ignorante da diversidade, da riqueza e dos contributos maiores que vêm de uma cidadania representativa e representada no espaço da esfera pública e política destes vários países e diferentes continentes. RFI: Neste ano em que se comemoram os 50 anos das independências de vários países da África lusófona, sente que todas as reflexões que tem havido ao longo destes meses e que ainda vão acontecer até ao final do ano servem para fazer avançar o debate? Sente que há algum contributo maior que emergiu ao longo destes últimos meses? Sheila Khan: Eu penso que as pessoas estão sedentas de debate. As pessoas querem sair dos seus espaços domésticos e estão sedentas de debate. E isso vê-se não só ao nível das redes sociais, mas também se vê ao nível dos múltiplos eventos e actividades que foram feitos. A pergunta é: quantidade e qualidade? Aqui eu vou dizer que sim. Porquê? Porque a qualidade é diversa. Já não estamos fechados num discurso académico. Nestes vários eventos que eu tenho acompanhado, uns à distância e outros presencialmente, o que nós vemos é uma miríade muito rica de gentes de diferentes formações e diferentes enquadramentos. Escritores, investigadores, jornalistas, activistas, pessoas que trabalham para organizações não-governamentais e todos eles acham, e pelo menos é isto que eu tenho sentido e escutado, uma vontade de se ouvirem, de partilhar. Porque as pessoas começam a perceber que sozinhas não vão chegar a lado nenhum e que a solidão não traz contributos a ninguém e que é verdadeiramente importante, à luz daquilo que eu disse, esta ideia de incomodar a história, que é preciso conversar, debater e acima de tudo, trazer para o espaço, para a mesa do diálogo, a presença, muitas vezes ausente de muitas experiências, de muitas narrativas, emoções e memórias que são cruciais para se compreender porque é que as nossas sociedades não evoluem e percebemos isso quando estamos a debater os caminhos da literatura moçambicana. Nós temos ali como convidados não só escritores, mas temos antropólogos, sociólogos, politólogos, pessoas de vários enquadramentos da arte. E, portanto, isso tem um significado muito importante. A diversidade tem de estar presente para a construção de uma maturidade histórica política dos nossos países. E para terminar, dizer que há uma consciência clara, muito bem articulada, que as histórias dos nossos países não são totalmente cumpridas. Se não forem, e se não estiverem entrelaçadas, não há como compreender Portugal sem a sua experiência e todo o seu caminho imperial e colonial. Mas também não há como compreender e enquadrar um conhecimento mais cuidadoso e rigoroso das nossas ex-colónias, se não as relacionarmos com Portugal, porque, efectivamente há uma relação umbilical, histórica, geracional, que se transmite e que circula nos vários meridianos, que é a palavra "legado". Nós estamos constantemente a debater os "legados coloniais", as "heranças coloniais", porque nós ainda não fizemos o luto. E o luto requer conhecimento e requer o entendimento que nós somos múltiplos. Há uma pluralidade e não uma monocultura histórica que nos querem "vender". Nós estamos a incomodar a história refutando essa ideia.

Well that was quite the ride wasn't it? Reds fans took over corners of Seville and had their first European night in thirty years. They were rewarded by a stellar first half display, despite going a goal down after 15 mins; but Igor Jesus' quickfire double saw the supporters in dreamland, both in the stadium and watching back home. Unfortunately the subs were telling; Betis made three half-time changes and Forest were forced into replacing Douglas Luiz, and that gave impetus to the Spaniards. Nonetheless, Matz Sels was largely untroubled until the last 10-15 mins, and Antony's late strike ensured a share of the spoils on a memorable night. Os sindicatos prometem uma “quinta-feira negra” em França, uma jornada de greves e manifestações contra cortes orçamentais anunciados no Verão e que descrevem como sendo de uma “brutalidade sem precedentes”. As pessoas pedem “justiça social” e que o Presidente Emmanuel Macron oiça os protestos, resume Luísa Semedo, investigadora doutorada em Filosofia Política e Ética. Para ela, a França está perante “uma crise democrática e social” e “um descrédito total em relação à Presidência de Macron”. Luísa Semedo avisa que se Emmanuel Macron “não tomar iniciativas para mostrar que percebeu que a crise é muito mais profunda, o movimento vai aumentar” e a extrema-direita vai continuar a subir. RFI: Quais as razões das greves e manifestações desta quinta-feira? Luísa Semedo, Investigadora doutorada em Filosofia Política e Ética: “De modo mais geral, o que se está a passar é o fim da ‘Macronia'. Ou seja, estamos mesmo a chegar ao fim de um sistema que não é assim tão democrático como isso. Macron já teve várias derrotas a nível de eleições, democráticas, e que fazem com que as pessoas já estão fartas da parte que tem a ver com a democracia e depois tem a ver também com as medidas que têm sido anunciadas, quer pelo governo de Barnier, quer pelo Governo de Bayrou, que vão sempre no mesmo sentido que é de cortar tudo o que tem a ver com o social, com a justiça social. As pessoas estão fartas, têm a sensação que são elas sempre a pagar e que continuamos a fazer a mesma política que é de não tocar nos patrimónios, nas empresas, nas pessoas mais ricas. É querer justiça social.” Caiu o antigo primeiro-ministro, François Bayrou. O novo primeiro-ministro, Sébastien Lecornu já desistiu da supressão de dois feriados, por exemplo, e não rejeitou ainda totalmente as medidas fiscais sobre os altos rendimentos. Mesmo assim, as pessoas têm razões para se manifestarem esta quinta-feira? “Sim, sem dúvida, porque o primeiro-ministro está numa fase de negociação e de calibragem em relação àquilo que vai poder fazer ou não. O movimento pretende fazer com que a balança venha para o lado da justiça social, fazer com que haja pressão no primeiro-ministro para que ele perceba que a rua não quer, de todo, continuar com o mesmo estilo de governação.” O novo primeiro-ministro falou na possibilidade de rever todas as regalias vitalícias dos antigos primeiros-ministros e ministros. O que acha deste anúncio? “Isso é muito típico. São medidas simbólicas, cosméticas, para dar uma impressão de estar se a ocupar da doença democrática que é dizer: ‘Vejam, povo, como nós, enquanto classe política, estamos a tratar das nossas próprias regalias'. Para mim é só cosmética e é diversão, não tem, de todo, impacto na vida dos franceses.” Relativamente à dívida pública e à necessidade de poupanças de 44 mil milhões de euros, de acordo com o ex-primeiro-ministro, isto parece ser algo abstracto para os franceses, mas é um problema. “Sim, sim, é abstracto, mas os franceses sabem quem é que vai pagar. Foi o que aconteceu com Bayrou. Ou seja, mesmo que as pessoas não entendam exactamente do que é que estamos a falar e da amplitude daquilo que está em causa, as pessoas percebem perfeitamente quais são as medidas e em quem é que essas medidas vão tocar. E perceberam perfeitamente que o Bayrou, independentemente de ele poder ter razão em teoria, aquilo que ele queria meter em prática para tratar o problema, era ir tocar nas pessoas mais pobres. Ou seja, mais uma vez sem justiça social, e questão está aí: Ok, há um problema, mas quem é que vai pagar esse problema? Se é para haver ainda mais injustiça social, as pessoas não estão dispostas a isso e isso elas percebem perfeitamente.” No dia 10 de Setembro, as pessoas foram para a rua seguindo o apelo do movimento ‘Bloquons Tout', [‘Bloquer Tudo']. Agora é a intersindical que apela à greve e às manifestações na rua. Como é que olha para este movimento, para as perspectivas de desenvolvimento do próprio movimento e quais são as principais diferenças entre 10 de Setembro, quando finalmente não houve tanta gente quanto se esperava nas ruas, e esta quinta-feira? “Esta quinta-feira, o que se está a passar é que, pelo menos, a nível de organização foi alargada. Ou seja, temos mais sindicatos, temos mais organizações que vão participar. Isto tudo vai depender de uma espécie de diálogo. Ou seja, quanto mais pessoas estiverem na rua, mais pressão haverá sobre o primeiro-ministro e depois vai ser ao primeiro-ministro de responder. Ou seja, se ele responder ao que a rua está a pedir, eu penso que a coisa poderá ficar mais equilibrada, mas se continuar a não responder, penso que o movimento pode ser ainda maior porque penso que é esse o objectivo. Se aquilo que é requerido não está a ser respeitado, as pessoas vão continuar a manifestar. Mas eu penso que o problema ainda é mais geral porque não se trata só da questão da governação agora específica de mais um primeiro-ministro. Trata-se do Presidente Macron. Ou seja, há também um descrédito total em relação a Presidência de Macron e penso que enquanto Macron não sair, vai haver sempre este tipo de tensões até ao fim.” Aparentemente insensível ao descontentamento popular, aos pedidos de mais justiça social e fiscal, aos próprios resultados das legislativas antecipadas, Emmanuel Macron estaria disposto a uma mudança ou tudo o que está a ser feito pode contribuir para a chegada da extrema-direita ao poder? “Sim, sem dúvida. Eu acho que nós estamos a ir de forma acelerada para aí, sem dúvida. Ou seja, Macron foi eleito com votos de pessoas que nunca votariam por ele, mas que votaram para fazer com que a extrema-direita não chegasse ao poder. Aos poucos, ele vai perdendo toda a credibilidade, eu penso que há muitas pessoas que já não vão talvez fazer esse voto de compromisso para que a extrema-direita não chegue. Portanto, estamos mesmo às portas a que a extrema-direita chegue ao poder, sem contar com o facto que os Les Républicains também estão dispostos a fazer acordos com a com o Rassemblement National. Penso que sim. A questão é foi Macron quem tinha as cartas na mão, ou seja, ele foi votado exactamente para isso. Ele prometeu aos franceses que ia fazer tudo para que o Rassemblement National não chegasse ao poder e, no entanto, hoje estamos aqui com um Presidente que, por vezes, diz Não ao Rassemblement National, mas por vezes diz Não à esquerda; com governos que, apesar do voto dos franceses, não houve nada que fosse feito na direcção da esquerda, praticamente. Portanto, Macron só se pode culpar a ele mesmo da situação. É uma situação que é terrível, mas a questão é: até quando a França vai ser refém de Macron em relação à questão da extrema-direita? Infelizmente estamos a entrar numa espécie de impasse terrível. A mim parece-me que sim, que se continuamos assim, ou seja, sem que as pessoas tenham aquilo que querem que é a tal justiça social e a justiça fiscal, vamos direito, muito rapidamente, para a extrema-direita infelizmente.” Esta França que sai às ruas é uma França cansada, zangada, cada vez mais polarizada? Como é que a define? “A mim faz-me lembrar um bocado a questão da doença e do corpo. É como se houvesse uma doença, pelo menos, democrática em França e que o corpo está-se a exprimir. É isso que as pessoas estão a fazer, estão a exprimir algo que não está a funcionar neste momento, eu diria mesmo, profundamente, democraticamente, em França. É o que está a acontecer. Se o Macron não tomar iniciativas para mostrar que percebeu que a crise é muito mais profunda, acho que isto vai continuar e o movimento vai aumentar, sem dúvida.” Quando fala em “crise profunda”, por exemplo, estamos a falar na pauperização da vida quotidiana das pessoas? Isso nota-se? Há dados que mostrem que as pessoas estão a ficar mais pobres? “Sim, há a crise social em relação, por exemplo, aos estudantes, em relação aos salários de várias categorias profissionais, por exemplo, os professores. Mas também é uma crise democrática, no sentido do voto e da confiança que se tem nas instituições governativas. Ou seja, o povo, a partir dos seus representantes, tem dito não, e de forma bastante audível, aos sucessivos governos criados pelo Emanuel Macron e Emmanuel Macron continua a insistir. Ele continua a insistir, agora ainda mais com alguém que é originário do seu movimento, ou seja, é como se ele não estivesse a ouvir a rua, não estivesse a ouvir o Parlamento.
