Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actors Darren Hart, TJ Ramini and Marlon Via Spurs Kings TV as two early goals cost us as Elliot Anderson (five minutes) and Chris Wood (16 minutes) struck for Forest. That left us with a mountain to climb, we racked up 22 efforts at goal to Forest's four as Wilson Odobert, Mathys Tel, and Dejan Kulusevski had chances in the first half, Deki then had a header cleared off the line in the second half and Matt Selz denied Richarlison twice before Richy finally planted home a header from Pedro Porro's cross on 87 minutes. However, that was the last of the chances as Forest killed the game in added time. It was a much needed win for Nottingham Forest that took them back to third in the table, as the race for the Champions' League gets ever tighter. Early goals from Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood took the Reds into a half-time lead, but in truth, Nuno's substitutions didn't really work, and Forest were under the cosh for the last half an hour. Richarlison did get a late goal, but first Matz Sels made two great saves from the Brazilian, and Harry Toffolo made an incredible clearance off the line. In an engaging Premier League encounter at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest clinched a vital 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace. Exclusive Content - Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV The match was settled by none other than Chris Wood, whose goal not only highlighted his importance to the team but also exposed a moment of lapse from Palace's goalkeeper Dean Henderson. This win was Forest's first at home this season, pushing them to a comfortable eighth place in the league standings, a testament to their resilience and improving form under pressure. The game was a tactical battle where Forest's defence, led by an impressive performance from goalkeeper Matz Sels, managed to keep a clean sheet against a Palace side that, despite their efforts, couldn't capitalize on their chances. Eberechi Eze came close for Palace, hitting the woodwork, a moment that epitomized Palace's day of near misses and growing frustration. This match extended Crystal Palace's unwanted record of being winless, leaving them entrenched in the relegation zone and intensifying the scrutiny on their tactical setup and managerial decisions. Key moments included Wood's goal, which came from a situation that many believe Henderson could have handled better, showcasing Wood's predatory instincts in the box. Forest's strategy under Nuno Espírito Santo, watching from the stands due to a touchline ban, paid dividends, with players like Elliot Anderson stepping up, indicating a successful tactical choice in midfield. This video analysis dives deep into how Forest managed to secure this win, examining the defensive solidity that has become their hallmark, Wood's clinical finishing, and what this result means for both teams. For Palace, we explore the implications of their ongoing struggle for form and the pressing need for a strategic overhaul or perhaps a change in the squad dynamics to avoid relegation fears. The Welsh international has been attracting significant interest from several top clubs across Europe, and with a new agent could the defender be looking for an exit from the City Ground this summer? Nottingham Forest recently turned down a bid from West Ham United for Neco Williams. With Nottingham Forest confirming the signing of Newcastle United's Elliot Anderson today for a price of £35m, the question all Forest fans are asking now, is how much did the club sell goalkeeper Vlachodimos back to Newcastle? In this video we will go through the details of the Vlachodimos transfer and how his amortisation value effects the profit that Forest will make from this deal. Vlachodimos was bought last year for around £4m with additional addon also included in the deal, however with the stopper only making a handful of appearances for the club, it is very unlikely these addons have been reached. The start of July saw the end of the PSR window for all Premier League clubs, and with the purchase of Elliot Anderson occurring right at the end of this window, there are no worries on how this will effect Forest when it comes to PSR concerns. But how have Forest been able to comply with PSR this time, we will take you through all the financial details which helped make the club PSR safe! “Everything you can imagine is real.” —Pablo Picasso I am so excited to announce that we are launching a whole new series at Turmeric & Tequila, T&T Creatives. We believe that we are born to create, some people just pursue it further than others:) Creators are the ones helping build, shape, and define the world around us. Music, art, food, and anything else you create, are universal languages AND now is the time for unity. The T&T Open Mic Series are designed to bring all voices to the mic to share personal experiences around equality and the T&T Creatives Series are designed to highlight and inspire unifying points where we can connect and feel equal in creative space. You can speak the same language as someone and look at a photo differently AND you can speak a different language as someone and look at a photo the same. We want to have the hard convos (T&T Open Mics) and then provide opportunities to connect (T&T Creatives)! I am so excited to welcome Elliot Anderson to the T&T Mic, our very first T&T Creative Series guest! Elliot is an audio master, audio engineer, composer, and all-around music hustler. He is kicking off his career in the music biz and I couldn’t wait to hear how the journey was going. I dabbled in the music industry post college (LOVE music), so I was extra excited to see where the biz is all these years later. Elliot shares his experience thus far, how he balances passion + business, and all the details in-between. This is an awesome cast for anyone in the industry or any entrepreneur looking to get into a competitive market… especially when your product is you! These are bold moves to make, but so worthwhile if it’s in your heart- chase it. Highlights: The music business. The hustle. The dream. Cardio. Breakdown, breakthrough. How to start a business, aka entrepreneurship. Balancing business and passion. Believing in yourself and just starting. Missy Elliot & Timbaland (in my mind). Doing what you’re supposed to and then doing what you want to do. Growing up/adulting. Upcoming parties. PARMAJAWN (Elliot Anderson): DJ, producer, and recording engineer based out of Denver, CO. He has been steadily producing and performing his own music for 10 years and regularly works with vocalists and rappers as an engineer and as a producer. His styles range all over the board, but he typically sticks to housey grooves and hip-hop heaters with huge synth soundscapes and complex rhythmic textures.
