Vítor's Reds went to Old Trafford, and while the home team had more chances, Forest were ultimately robbed by a pivotal decision by Michael Salisbury, who was the only man in football who thought that Matheus Cunha's goal should stand, after Bryan Mbeumo's obvious handball. Even VAR recommended that the goal should be chalked off after a 3-4 min review, but after staring at it for another 90 seconds, the ref stuck to his guns. Fortunately Forest are already safe this season. George and Tom report after returning from Manchester, still in disbelief at the decision, but full of praise for the Head Coach, players and Forest supporters, as goals from Morato and Gibbs-White were not enough to get a result against United's 12th man. Bryan Mbeumo slid home following a short corner routine seven minutes before half-time, but we stayed very much in the game – thanks in part to a string of fine saves from Guglielmo Vicario – and it was only a late goal from Bruno Fernandes that finally killed us off. The second period also saw the debut of Souza, signed last month from Brazilian side Santos, following an injury to Destiny Udogie at left-back. We discuss the actions of Romero and whether he has lost all the goodwill he gained during the week from Spurs fans, we question if Spurs are in a relegation battle and if so whether Thomas Frank can steer us out of it. A good week to have a bad week? Probably. But for FPL managers who started any of Joe Rodon, Bryan Mbeumo or 23 point scoring Micky Van De Ven it was probably a good week. All the games reviewed as the three promoted clubs all won, struggling West and Wolves were two of those on the wrong end of those results, while Chelsea were surprisingly beaten by high flying Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool lost again, this time at Brentford, and Manchester City were beaten too at Aston Villa, whilst Arsenal extended their lead with victory over Crystal Palace.
