A disappointing afternoon for the Reds, but let's be honest, we always lose at Bournemouth, don't we? Sean Dyche made only one change from the team that played at Porto, but then made a triple change at half-time in response to an opening period that saw Forest go 2-0 down to a couple of really soft goals. The second half was better but pretty unremarkable all round. Morgan Gibbs-White had the Reds' only real chance of note and Dyche will be grateful for a few days on the training ground before the next game at home to Manchester United. Steven Toplis and the Maradona of the Midlands report, with George Edwards and Jon Spark representing a view from each team. It was a historic European night at the City Ground as Sean Dyche brought a refreshed attitude and a return to some of the simpler things in football, but without resorting to dinosaur tactics. Despite Porto playing some neat stuff, they never got the chance to maintain their unbeaten run as the Reds inflicted their first defeat of the season through penalties from Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus. Despite the nervousness of VAR interventions, our studio-based officials got the big decisions right, which also makes a refreshing change! Baz is joined by Tom Newton for a discussion of a big night for the Reds. We will be back after the return to Premier League action away to Bournemouth (eek) and will have a more in-depth discussion next week in Yatesy's Espresso Bar. Thanks for joining us! With another international window in the books, it's time to dive back into AGT Thursdays! We start with Nottingham Forest, who actually did the thing and sacked Ange Postecoglou, making his stint in charge the second-shortest in league history. We argue why this falls mostly on then shoulders of Marinakis rather than his Greek compatriot and wonder where the club goes from here. Elsewhere in the Midlands, Villa stirred up controversy when the police banned Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from traveling to Birmingham for their match-day 4 clash. But is the situation misunderstood by the wider public? We also touch on the recent international window, where Cape Verde became the second-smallest nation to qualify for a World Cup and congratulate their heach coach, Bubista. Evangelos Marinakis has hit the Dyche alarm at Nottingham Forest, and hired Sean Dyche to rescue his beloved Trees. The former Burnley and Everton boss arrives with experience, knowledge of the club and a talented squad to work with, but can he arrest the Forest slump? Someone that couldn't work under Marinakis was Nuno Espirito Santo, who is struggling in the capital as West Ham boss. His Hammers side were dismal in their home defeat to Brentford on Monday night, and look like a side facing serious trouble if they're not careful. Gabby and Mark are joined by the Premier League's fifth top goal scorer of all-time and winner of eight major trophies with Manchester United, Andy Cole. Was Andy surprised to see Ruben Amorim become the first Man United manager to win at Anfield since 2016? With the focus on set pieces despite a transfer window dominated by big striker moves, are strikers taking too long to settle in? And as a man who was born in Nottingham and ended is career at Forest, what does he make of the managerial merry-go-round as Sean Dyche becomes their third manager of the season! Plus, Gabby and Mark chat about Tommy Fleetwood's son running on the green to congratulate him for winning the DP World India Championship; the retirement of two-time Rugby World Cup winner Emily Scarratt; and rugby's next big thing, Noah Caluori, after he scored five tries on his first Saracens start (against Sale - sorry Mark!); And should Wythenshawe FC Vets, the Sunday league team with 822 Premier League appearances between them, give Mark a shot?

Would Forest really Appoint Sean Dyche as the next Nottingham Forest Manager? To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv In this Forest Fan TV update, Wolfie reacts to the bombshell from tier-one journalist David Ornstein: Sean Dyche is now the favourite to become Nottingham Forest's next boss, just 24 hours after Ange Postecoglou's sacking following a 3-0 loss to Chelsea. With the Reds in 18th and one point above relegation after Ange's record-breaking eight-game stint, Ornstein reports Dyche, ex-Everton survivor, is in advanced talks, pushing Mancini aside. Wolfie unpacks the news amid PSR woes and a looming Porto clash, stunned by the rapid shift. Wolfie's not happy—calling for Dyche "Out" already, with the appointment reeking of desperation after Ange's failed "Angeball." The gritty tactician brings PL survival chops and an English core, but Wolfie fears it'll kill Forest's flair, branding it "relegation insurance" over ambition. He contrasts it with bolder options, urging a rethink in this critical rebuild. Should Forest settle for Dyche's pragmatism or chase Marco Silva, the stylish Fulham boss with a £7m release clause? Wolfie backs Silva's flair and Marinakis link from Olympiacos. What's your take—Dyche or Silva? Who will replace Ange Postecoglou as Nottingham Forest Manager? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ In the latest Nottingham Forest news update on Forest Fan TV, Wolfie delivers a raw, unfiltered dissection of the bombshell sacking of Ange Postecoglou yesterday, just 24 hours after his "must-win" presser hype ahead of the Chelsea clash. With the Reds rooted in 18th and winless under the Aussie, owner Evangelos Marinakis pulled the trigger amid mounting fan frustration ending Ange's turbulent six-week stint that promised "Angeball" glory but delivered defensive disasters. Wolfie turns the spotlight on the hotly linked candidates vying for the City Ground hot seat, with reports flooding in from Ornstein and beyond. Sean Dyche emerges as the pragmatic choice, fresh from Everton's survival scraps with his no-nonsense grit; Marco Silva, Fulham's stylish tactician, brings Premier League nous and attacking flair after his Cottagers' top-half finish; while Roberto Mancini, the Italian maestro behind Man City's golden era and Inter's treble, offers trophy pedigree but questions over his Saudi sabbatical. Wolfie ranks them head-to-head: Dyche for instant stability, Silva for progression, Mancini for star power—who does Marinakis favour in this high-stakes poker game? Who should Forest appoint next to dodge relegation and spark the Reds' revival? Is it Dyche's bulldog defence, Silva's silky transitions, or Mancini's big-game magic? Would Forest really sack Ange Postecoglou and bring in Sean Dyche?
Would Elliot Anderson be tempted by a move to Manchester United in the summer? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ Wolfie dives into last night's rumours of a potential exit for highly-rated midfielder Elliot Anderson, with @indykaila on X claiming Manchester United have set their sights on the 22-year-old Englishman after planning to offload captain Bruno Fernandes in the summer. Anderson, who joined Forest from Newcastle for £35m last July and impressed with a Player of the Month award in August, has caught United's eye amid their midfield woes—could £70m bid tempt Marinakis, or is it just hot air? Wolfie dissects the substance behind the speculation, weighing Anderson's England debut performances and man-of-the-match displays against Forest's rocky start—does United's interest hold water, or is it premature guesswork tied to Fernandes' potential sale? With no official bids yet and Forest's Europa League commitments, Wolfie questions if this is a genuine threat or seasonal chatter, especially as Anderson's contract runs to 2029. Plus, an exclusive update from Fabrizio Romano on Forest manager Ange Postecoglou's future: amid seven winless games and crunch talks with owner Evangelos Marinakis during the international break, Romano confirms Ange gets time to adapt despite sack pressure—no immediate axe, but results post-break will be pivotal. Wolfie and the panel are back just hours after Ange Postecoglou's seventh winless game, the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, where Bruno Guimarães and Nick Woltemade's goals sealed a comfortable Magpies victory despite Forest's pragmatic defensive setup. With the winless streak now stretching across all competitions, the crew dissects the latest blow—zero shots on target, a toothless attack, and mounting pressure on Ange amid chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning" echoing from the stands. The burning debate: is Evangelos Marinakis about to pull the trigger and sack Ange during the international break, or will he grant more time after their crunch talks? With rumors of Fulham's Marco Silva as a potential replacement and Postecoglou's fiery defiance in the face of speculation, the panel weighs the owner's history of swift changes (like Nuno's dismissal after three games) against the need for patience in Angeball's teething phase. Nottingham Forest have made a miserable start to the season with four of their five points coming in the first two Premier League games. Ange Postecoglou has now been in charge of Forest for seven winless games as fans want him out, but ex-players in the wider media say he needs time. Will he get it or will Evangelos Marinakis sack him? Should Postecoglou get more time and if he goes what next? Matt Davies is joined by Michael Temple, Pete Blackburn and former Reds defender Kelvin Wilson. #nffc #nottinghamforest
Wolfie dissects yet another defeat for Ange Postecoglou and Forest! To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv Wolfie dissects this frustrating Premier League defeat at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon, with Postecoglou's Reds now winless in seven. Bruno Guimarães scored in the 58th minute, and new signing Nick Woltemade added late on second with a penalty for a 2-0 Newcastle win—Forest managed just 0.27 xG, raising doubts about Ange's defensive shift from his usual Angeball flair, with neither seem to be working right now. Elliot Anderson's penalty concession—fouling his ex-teammate Guimarães—highlighted the irony of facing his boyhood club, while Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White toiled without service. Injuries to Murillo, Douglas Luiz, Ola Aina and Zinchenko forced makeshift changes, but the result was the same: a toothless display that echoed recent woes, with Forest now 17th and staring down the barrel of relegation fears. Will Ange be sacked during the international break, with Evangelos Marinakis' patience thinning amid unrest rumours and zero wins? Wolfie ponders the chances of Marinakis making Ange the quickest sacking in Premier League history. Share your thoughts in the comments on the game and his future—stay or go? Recorded late at night after a long day out, George Edwards hosts our match report on another defeat for Ange Postecoglou's Forest. There was a more back to basics approach from the Head Coach, but as the match went on, the home team turned up the wick, leading to an effort from distance by Bruno Guimarâes and a well-taken penalty by Nick Woltemade after a rare error by Elliot Anderson against his boyhood team. George is joined by Tom Newton for this match report, with the opposition view from exiled Geordie Jack Stanley from the Toon Under Podcast. We are taking a few days off but will be back with our Football Terrorists discussion show, covering the plight of the men's team, and the success of the women (which gives us something to be grateful for, I guess). The mood turned hostile as Forest conceded two set piece goals, and a third on the break as they were chasing the game - despite Dan Ndoye levelling to make it 1-1, and Chris Wood's late penalty, fans were not happy and not only chanted for the dismissal of Ange Postecoglou but sang the name of his predecessor Nuno Espírito Santo. George and Baz report the following day with some considered thoughts, having slept on it and allowed some dust to settle. They mainly focus on the issues on the pitch, and there will be plenty of debate to follow about the appointment and tenure of the Aussie Head Coach. We'll be back after the Newcastle game, and will engage in the debate during the international break. Wolfie dissects yet another terrible result for Ange Postecoglou and Forest! Lots of Forest Prizes To Win! For Only 39p! https://win.footballprizes.co.uk/forestfftv Wolfie is back just hours after another gut-wrenching defeat at the City Ground in the Europa League, where Forest's first home European game in 30 years ended in a 3-2 loss to Midtjylland on Thursday. Despite a minor fightback with goals from Ndoye and Wood, defensive lapses left the Reds winless in six games under Ange Postecoglou—Wolfie breaks down the key moments, from missed chances to the Danish side's clinical edge, leaving fans stunned on this historic night. The burning question now is whether it's already time for Ange to go, with the loss exposing his high-risk Angeball style as Forest conceded three at home despite dominating possession—can this attacking philosophy survive another setback, or has the patience of Evangelos Marinakis worn thin? Wolfie weighs the pressure on the owner, noting Ange's zero wins in six and the mounting frustration, especially with injuries to Murillo and Douglas Luiz hampering the squad—could a swift sacking be on the cards, or will Marinakis back his man for the long haul? What are your thoughts on this rollercoaster match and Ange's future—time to move on, or give him more time to turn it around? EPISODE REUPLOADED due to a technical issue. The headlines scream about five matches for Ange without a win, but for many fans, the worries go deeper. This was a performance lacking in intensity and direction, and save for twenty minutes after making a host of changes, Forest did not threaten the visitors' goal. George and Baz discuss the game, whether Ange is already in trouble, and if he has already lost the fans. The view from the opposition comes from Gav of Ha'way The Podcast and Roker Report. Well that was quite the ride wasn't it? Reds fans took over corners of Seville and had their first European night in thirty years. They were rewarded by a stellar first half display, despite going a goal down after 15 mins; but Igor Jesus' quickfire double saw the supporters in dreamland, both in the stadium and watching back home. Unfortunately the subs were telling; Betis made three half-time changes and Forest were forced into replacing Douglas Luiz, and that gave impetus to the Spaniards. Nonetheless, Matz Sels was largely untroubled until the last 10-15 mins, and Antony's late strike ensured a share of the spoils on a memorable night. Steven Toplis is joined by a tired and hoarse Tom Newton, who had sampled the delights of Seville and revelled in the Reds' European journey. Ugh. After taking control of the first half and scoring a couple of good goals, Forest went full Postecoglou in the second period, with two stoppage time goals earning their Welsh opponents a place in the fourth round. Ange made a host of changes, so will have some selection problems in the future, but a lack of discipline at both ends of the pitch cost the Reds dear - is this a sign of things to come?
