In a timely sermon titled "Strange Times ...Strange Things, Strange People," Pastor Femi Paul illuminated the challenges of the times we are in, drawing from 1 Peter 4:12 (TPT): "Beloved friends, if life gets extremely difficult, with many tests, don't be bewildered as though something strange were overwhelming you!" The key theme resonated with the congregation, and also echoed in this prayer by Apostle Anselm Madubuko: "May you not be swallowed up by these strange times and this unsettling season as they come, in Jesus' name." In conclusion, Pastor Femi reminded everyone of the reassuring promise found in 1 Peter 4:12-13 (MSG): "When life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner!" In these uncertain times, the message inspired faith and resilience, reminding believers that amidst trials and tribulations, God is ever-present, refining and preparing us for the glory that awaits. Let's hold fast to hope, knowing that beyond the challenges lie opportunities for growth and divine breakthroughs.

Yeah I know, I missed the grand opportunity of singing Werewolf in London, badly and off key, but the night is young, so you never know. In the annals of the world of the strange, there are some cases that are really hard to classify. Some just seem to transcend borders and attempts to put them into any one file of the weird. For instance, there have long been the classic unexplained phenomena of ghosts, demonic possession, and werewolves, but very few cases that manage to blend them all together into a hybrid hodgepodge of bizarreness. Yet one of the most baffling and striking accounts of the paranormal manages to do just this. In a quiet seaside area of England, a normally mild-mannered family man found himself suddenly consumed by an ferocious, unidentifiable force that would go on to become a persistently odd case that would meld aspects of hauntings, possession and lycanthropy, and which remains a truly anomalous case that avoids easy classification.

If you go to an ordinary school and you have neighbors around that you can actually talk to, consider your life normal. Mine is totally different. I live on a farm in Iowa with my mom, dad and my little sister. There is no one around for miles so we're pretty much all on our own. It's a bit scary but I like it. Mio Strand is in the Province of Suruga. Its sand is yellow and fine, strewn with rose shells at the ebb tide. Its pine trees are ancient and they lean all one way, which is the way that the wild wind wills. Before Mio rolls the deep sea, and behind Mio rises Fugi, the most sacred, the mountain of mountains. Small marvel that the Strange People should come to Mio. Of the Strange People not much is known, even at Mio, though it is sure they come there. It seems they are shy indeed, more's the pity. They come through the blue air, or across the mysterious paths of the sea. Their footprints are never, never seen upon the wet beach, for they tread too lightly. But sometimes in their dancing they sweep their robes upon the sand and leave it ribbed and ruffled; so, often enough, it may be seen at Mio. This is not all. Once a fisherman of Mio set eyes upon a maiden of the Strange People, and talked with her and made her do his bidding. This is a true thing, and thus it came about.
