From dads standing guard at school doors, to Costco moms delivering food to people afraid to leave home, and to the ICE spotters patrolling the streets— everyday Minnesotans have been standing up to the Trump administration's terror campaign with a vibrant sense of community that Stephen Miller apparently did not even consider a possibility. And while most of the rank-and-file activists are not particularly ideological, leftwing protestors are now creating tensions as they try to play a more visible role with dumpster fires and barricades. Plus, Tim makes an urgent plea to the Democratic candidates in the Texas Senate race to skip the racial politics and focus instead on what voters care about. SEASON 4 EPISODE 55: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: So would you like to collapse the Trump Regime? Today? Peacefully? Legally? You - the White House press corps. It only takes one of you. You go into the next Oval Office Scrum, and you ask him politely for his explanation of something released by his administration, by Pam Bondi’s office, on the government website, and you read – quoting this FBI 302 interview file: “Maxwell presented (her) to Trump…by the things Maxwell said, it was clear that (she) was available…”And don’t stop reading and don’t make eye contact. THEN from the sworn affidavit, reed, quote: “I personally witnessed Defendant Trump telling the plaintiff that she couldn’t ever say anything, if she didn’t want to disappear like the 12-year old female (redacted) and that he was capable of having her whole family killed…” Quote: “the physical and sexual abuse that I personally witnessed of minor females at the hands of Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein... under penalty of perjury even though I fully understand that the life of myself and my family is now in grave danger” unquote, what SIR is your explanation SIR about when you threatened this girl’s life, sir. Just keep asking. Don't make eye contact, don't stop, don't stop talking when he starts talking. Just reel off those quotes. And the one about becoming fertilizer. And the "Calendar Girls" story (as nonsensical as that probably is). And all the others. Because we don't always see the escape hatch when it appears before us, and it just appeared. Because the Epstein Files are part of an official Department of Justice Document Dump. Their contents are Pam Bondi's problem, not you or your lawyer's. And if you don't bear down and do this job as it was designed by the Founding Fathers, you will sooner or later face one of these outcomes: you'll be arrested, you'll be replaced by some automaton Bari Weiss likes, or the country will survive and the next people running media will never consider you for work because you were cowardly when we needed your courage. Oh and you can peacefully, legally end the careers of Elon Musk and Marco Rubio and Bari Weiss and lots of others. The material is all in front of you. Just have the courage to pick it up and fling it, like he'd fling his poo at you. ALSO: Don Lemon was arrested not because Jesus but because Trump has always hated him. And if you've forgotten, I explained two weeks ago why Trump was trying to restart the 2020 crap, now sending Tulsi Gabbard to Georgia. They're sitting up not a claim that the election was fixed, but that the election was fixed by another country (hey, Nicolas Maduro, you mind taking the rap, in exchange for a pardon?) and there is no statute of limitations on THAT. B-Block (34:55) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Harriet Hageman, the blob they elected to the House from Wyoming to replace Liz Cheney, is now running for Senate. Emphasize "running": she has fled a town hill. The Bill Maher Pretzel Logic: Celebrities should shut up, voters don't listen to TV and movie stars. But Bill, you expect them to listen to you. So you're saying you're not a star? And the latest Bari Weiss firing target is supposedly Face The Nation host Margaret Brennan and one of the names being thrown around (probably nonsensically) is Matt Lauer. C-Block (54:00) MONDAYS WITH THURBER: We need a doubleheader. I heard an audio book with a famous actor doing Thurber's tribute to what would be called Dunning-Kruger Syndrome: "The Macbeth Murder Mystery" and it was one of those rare times when I actually said "No - I did this better." So I bring it to you, and as a bonus, a second great unheralded Thurber story: "Meet Birdey Doggett." Enjoy them at your leisure.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Lovett brings the hot dish straight from Minnesota's ICE protestors, Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem freeze in place, and the Trump administration is caught off guard by the bravery of nice people. This week, Andy Richter and Vic Michaelis join Lovett for a few rounds of Interview Roulette, and lend some constrictive criticism to Kristi Noem, the Melania movie, and one very fat, damp coyote. PBD reacts to viral claims comparing Stephen Miller to history's worst villains, breaks down Miller's long-term strategy, loyalty to Trump, and early rise at Duke. The panel debates whether Miller is a strategic asset or a messaging liability and why outrage politics helps no one.
Joe's out today, so Patrick is stepping in to host and bring you the raw, unfiltered truth. Things are moving FAST. Trump's counter-revolution is hitting on all fronts, and the communists are losing their minds. We're diving deep into the FBI raid on Fulton County, Georgia, where they finally seized those 2020 ballots after months of stonewalling by Democrat officials. Commissioner Mo Ivory was live-streaming in full panic mode, and Chairman Rob Pitts admitted the records are now out of their control. Why fight so hard to hide them? We know why. We'll break down Trump's Truth Social post exposing the timeline, Senator Tubberville dropping bombs on Benny Johnson, and how this ties right into Eric Coomer's deposition fallout. Plus, Border Czar Tom Homan just confirmed Minnesota county jails WILL NOW notify ICE, no more sanctuary shield for criminal illegal aliens. Stephen Miller reminded us this chaos stems from the single greatest fraud operation in U.S. history. And don't miss the Minnesota federal judge who's a donor and volunteer for a pro-illegal alien group judiciary corruption exposed. We're calling out Communist Derangement Syndrome head-on: trans activists in Colorado parking lots, abortion radicals wishing sexual violence on pro-lifers, NYC's new mayor stacking his team with comrades, and the endless celebration of violence when their narrative cracks. The messaging is brainwashing, but the pushback is real. Tune in today We''ll be live, keeping it straight and hard-hitting.

The boys break down the continuously developing situation in Minneapolis. Greg Bovino was kicked out and replaced with Tom Homan, but is that really going to matter? Homan is calling for a drawback of forces but it may just be to save face for the mass deportation effort that is growing more unpopular by the minute. Related to the unpopularity of recent events, there's been reported infighting within the administration with Kristi Noem trying to duck accountability and blame Trump and Stephen Miller for the heat she's been getting. And of course the HITO boys dive into exactly what OUR Democrats are doing. On our radar this week… The first-ever recipient of a previously owned Nobel Peace Prize apparently wants to be the Genghis Khan of the 21st Century. In the last week, Trump has Threatened to invade Venezuela if his hand-picked government doesn't do his bidding; Stationed an armada near Iran in preparations for an aerial war; Hinted at an imminent effort at regime change in Cuba; Doubled-downed on his armed assault on the Constitution in Minneapolis with a change in messaging but little else, He replaced one Nazi-adjacent ICE commander with a fascist-adjacent ICE commander in Minneapolis with vague promises of a future future drawdown on masked thugs roaming the streets, but not now. Sent his FBI and Tulsi Gabbard to investigate the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, a continuation of his b.s. claims of fraud costing him a win over Joe Biden, and Had his FBI raid the home of a reporter in violation of federal law; and, Arrested reporter Don Lemon for covering a peaceful Minneapolis protest because it “disrupted” a religious service Trump’s war on Minneapolis inspired a powerful anthem from “The Boss.” Bruce Springsteen's “The Streets of Minneapolis” pulls no punches in denouncing Trump, ICE Barbie and Stephen Miller. Due to copyright restrictions we can't play it here … but it's well worth a visit to YouTube. Trump World is also having a direct impact on Michigan politics. Trump has reportedly inserted himself in the battle for the party's gubernatorial nomination, torpedoing frontrunner John James and encouraging 78-year-old rich guy Perry Johnson's newly announced campaign. Michigan Democrats have launched their first attack ad on independent gubernatorial candidate Mike Duggan even as the party's contests for Attorney General and Secretary of State are all but over. A Republican dark money group is promoting one of the Democrats in next week's primary to fill a state Senate primary … with the belief that State Board of Education President Pamela Pugh would be easier to beat in the April general election. Democrats, including Saginaw Dem chair Jennifer Austin and Saginaw state Representative Amos O'Neal, are crying “foul.” Senator Elissa Slotkin says Kristi Noem has to go. In a Senate speech, Michigan's junior senator noted she had voted to confirm Noem … but the cabinet member derided as “ICE Barbie” has betrayed fundamental American values. We’re joined this week by political science guru Norm Ornstein, emeritus scholar at the conservative think-tank American Enterprise Institute with his assessment of congressional dysfunction and Trump's drive for one-person government. He is the co-author, with Thomas E. Mann, of It’s Even Worse Than It Looks: How the American Constitutional System Collided With the New Politics of Extremism. Norm is a Minnesota native. He was a child prodigy, graduating from high school when he was fourteen and from college when he was eighteen. He received his BA from the University of Minnesota and PhD in political science from the University of Michigan. By the mid-1970s, he had become a professor of political science at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., establishing a reputation as an expert on the United States Congress. Ornstein is a frequent contributor to The Washington Post, The Atlantic and the National Journal. He wrote a weekly column for Roll Call for 11 years, and was co-director of the AEI-Brookings Election Reform Project. He helped draft key parts of the 2002 Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, also known as the McCain–Feingold Act. Ornstein is a registered Democrat but considers himself a centrist and has voted for individuals from both parties. We’re now on YouTube every week! Click here to subscribe.

SEASON 4 EPISODE 54: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: At this moment, the biggest threat to the future of democracy at this minute is Chuck Schumer. He and the other members of the milquetoast caucus of Senate Democrats are ready to give away their chance to turn MAGA's panic over the ICE murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti (and Keith Porter Jr) into a forced re-structure of the entire damnable structure. Instead of demanding a new organization with bipartisan control and a blanket ban on any activity near polling places or in fact in the week before an election, Schumer is willing to sell that for four trivial concessions. He's willing to forfeit the last chance to get these death squads off our streets in exchange for a "uniform code of conduct," the end of "roving patrols," the discontinuation of masks, and the use of body cameras. Because obviously the threat that ICE's next slaughter of an innocent bystander will be captured on video completely kept these Trump Death Squads from killing Alex Pretti. It's beyond Schumer's usual naiveté. It's criminally negligent. He shouldn't just be ousted as Minority Leader, he should be expelled from the Senate. Trump blames Bovino. Bovino blames Noem. Noem blames Miller. Miller blames Border Patrol. Roger Stone blames Lewandowski. Trump blames the 2nd Amendment. They're imploding, Chuck. Get out of their way, you moron. ROBERT FICO: Slovakia’s pro-Trump prime minister who last year spoke at CPAC (it's pronounced Fitso) was quoted by five Politico sources as having been shaken after a meeting with Trump on the 17th, alarmed by Trump's "psychological state" and convinced Trump was "out of his mind." Denials all around. (33:00) BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: If you didn't know, Saturday he wrote an ICE protest song. Uploaded it to social media yesterday. Calls 'em all out by name, including "King Trump." Chills. With Bruce's kind permission, we're playing it in the podcast. Superb stuff. I wish Bruce were Senate minority leader. B-Block (40:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: A News Nation moron reduces the death of Alex Pretti to a "scrum." Melania doesn't know her icons from her iconoclasts. And Katie Miller insists all Conservative women are far more attractive than all Liberal women. You have to give her credit: who knew she had gotten this far with such devastatingly impaired vision? C-Block (50:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Just past the anniversary, now 45 years, since a famed New York morning disc jockey responded to something I said on the air one hour by threatening to kill me, and then responded to something I said on the air the next hour by trying to hire me full-time on his station. The Ted Brown Saga - revisited. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today's Headlines: Secretary of State Marco Rubio testified before the Senate this week, defending the administration's so-called “non–regime change” operation in Venezuela while calling the abduction of Nicolás Maduro a “strategic necessity.” Rubio said Trump doesn't currently plan further military action but refused to rule it out, warning that Venezuela's transition will be slow despite what he described as “good and decent progress.” At the same time, Trump escalated tensions with Iran, posting a threat that the “next attack will be far worse” if Tehran doesn't agree to a new nuclear deal. U.S. military exercises are reportedly underway in the region, with a naval force moving closer, as Iran's foreign minister warned the country is prepared to respond immediately. The standoff comes amid massive protests in Iran and reports that tens of thousands may have been killed by the regime, though exact figures remain difficult to verify due to internet restrictions. Back in Minnesota, fallout continues from the killing of Alex Pretti. Stephen Miller acknowledged that CBP officers involved may not have followed protocol, while shifting blame toward DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who now faces bipartisan impeachment calls. The officers who fired their weapons were placed on administrative leave days later, as new reporting revealed ICE had prior documentation on Pretti before his death. The FBI has also taken over the investigation into the assault on Rep. Ilhan Omar at a town hall event, while executing a separate search warrant in Fulton County, Georgia, tied to the 2020 election. On today's episode of The God Show, Jesus and I followed a pattern that corporate media keeps conveniently ignoring: • The FBI raid on Georgia election offices and why it's barely being covered • Why Georgia and Minnesota keep showing up in the same stories • How ICE, elections, and intimidation tactics are starting to overlap • Republican Senator Thom Thillis scorches Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller on ICE • Why billionaire owned media refuses to connect these dots for you We also did what we always do when the news gets heavy. We argued about pizza. And I sang karaoke.
Dear Humans, On today's episode of The God Show, Jesus and I discuss: Marco Rubio got exposed on Capitol Hill Kristi Noem throws Stephen Miller under the ICE bus The government is lying, and people aren't buying it anymore. Between the hearings and the horror, we sang. We took breathers. We let music carry what rage alone can't. From classic rock karaoke to Bruce Springsteen carving Minneapolis into history, today was special. Keep filming! Keep showing up! And never forget that… You, the people, have the power. Love, God
Americans are expressing their anger about ICE in some unlikely corners of the internet, Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller are pointing fingers at each other as the administration does damage control over Alex Pretti's murder, Rep. Ilhan Omar bravely fended off a bizarre attack at a speech in Minneapolis, and 40 million gallons of poo are washing into the Potomac River every day. Attorney, author and podcaster Dean Obeidallah joins the program to explain why Greg Bovino, Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem need to be prosecuted. Firing is meaningless—at least if you want to stop the reign of terror being waged by ICE, CBP and DHS agents. The only way to do that is to charge Bovino, Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem with crimes for violating Minnesota state law. Plus, of course, the agents who murdered Renee Good earlier in January and Alex Pretti must be prosecuted as well.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Miranda hosts solo while Meghan is out on maternity leave, joined by Ben Ferguson and Christine Rosen for a wide-ranging and intense breakdown of one of the most chaotic political weeks yet. The panel dives into the fallout from violent incidents involving ICE and Border Patrol in Minnesota, the leadership scramble inside DHS, Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem pointing fingers, and why Republican trust in ICE just dropped eight points in two weeks. They debate whether this is a messaging failure, a tactics failure, or both, and what it means for the administration moving forward. The conversation then turns to rising political violence after Rep. Ilhan Omar was sprayed at a town hall and other recent attacks on public officials. The group discusses security failures, online radicalization, social media outrage culture, and why politicians across parties are becoming increasingly vulnerable targets. Finally, they shift to the looming Big Tech trial, where Meta and other platforms face lawsuits over alleged harm to children. Miranda, Ben, and Christine unpack what the case could mean for social media regulation, parental responsibility, algorithm design, and whether Silicon Valley can actually be held accountable. It's a raw, unscripted conversation about institutional trust, digital addiction, political extremism, and the growing consequences of a hyper-online culture. Learn more about your ad choices. Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to unpack the Minneapolis ICE shootings that have sent the Oval Office into a frenzy—and exposed the real tripwire in Trumpworld. As Susie Wiles, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and Corey Lewandowski turn on each other in a furious blame game, Wolff reveals why the president is suddenly “wobbling” on immigration, how ICE quotas and untrained agents led to disaster, and why Miller is now dangerously exposed with no bureaucratic buffer left. Looming over it all is a furious First Lady, whose long-planned Melania movie rollout has been eclipsed by bloodshed and scandal—and whose displeasure, Wolff argues, matters more to Trump than polls, politics, or public outrage. The mass deportation operation was supposed to be about the manly men pulling out all the stops in defense of Western civilization, which they claim is being brought down by brown and black immigrants. But it is the multi-racial, multi-faith people of Minneapolis who are fighting—at the risk of their own lives—for the cause of community, neighborhoodism, and social cohesion. And that is not the same social cohesion of JD Vance, who thinks white people need to live next door to other white people. Meanwhile, MAGA's dreams that Trump had flipped Hispanic voters sure doesn't seem to be the case in the Rio Grande Valley, where people are feeling disrespected by ICE and not free to be themselves. Jason Kander and Ravi Gupta break down the growing controversy in Minnesota after federal agents fatally shot Alex Pretti, as critics from both parties question the government's response and demand an independent investigation. They analyze Kristi Noem's early comments, the reported role of Stephen Miller in shaping the narrative around the shooting, and rising frustration from lawmakers like Senator Rand Paul and Senator Murkowski calling for accountability at the top. Kander and Gupta also dive into President Trump's latest exchanges on gun policy and protester rights, the conflicting claims about federal messaging on 2A issues, and what the latest reporting reveals about ICE enforcement tactics and the impact on local communities. Mary and Andrew make Minnesota the focal point this week, after the Trump administration's intensified immigration enforcement efforts in the state culminated in the tragic killing of Alex Pretti by federal agents on Saturday. The co-hosts detail several legal cases related to these efforts: one that challenges how ICE and CBP agents treat protestors and observers, another that aims to preserve evidence in Mr. Pretti's death, and a state case arguing that the federal government is violating the 10th Amendment and Minnesota's sovereignty rights by conducting “Operation Metro Surge”. Then, they turn to what Andrew calls an “extortion letter” sent by Attorney General Pam Bondi to Governor Tim Walz over the weekend, implying that compliance of three demands – including handing over Minnesota's voter rolls – could lead to a reduction of immigration forces in the state. Before wrapping up, Mary and Andrew review a memo surfaced by a whistleblower giving DHS officers authority to forcibly enter homes during immigration enforcement operations.Further reading: Here is a new piece Andrew and Ryan Goodman wrote for Just Security: The Top 10 Questions the Trump Administration Needs to Answer About Minnesota. Steve covers both Star Trek commentary and political commentary – kinda makes sense that we'd eventually connect, me being the co-host of Trek Politics. As we discussed today, Steve is an alpha liberal and he doesn't shy away from fully owning his liberalism. So today, we started off with a little bit about the politics of Star Trek and what Stephen Miller had to say about the new Trek series Starfleet Academy, then we segued into the existential crisis for democracy and even managed to talk some Civil War by the end. After we recorded this episode, we noticed that Axios is reporting that anger is rising at Stephen Miller inside Donald Trump's inner circle. Some White House officials blame Miller for smearing ICE murder victim Alex Pretti. This comes as reports in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times suggest that other top advisers want ICE to change course in a way that is running afoul of Miller's designs. That all this is leaking out shows internal dissatisfaction with Miller is growing. Meanwhile, a new YouGov poll finds 55 percent of Americans and 67 percent of independents have very little confidence in ICE. Both reflect large recent spikes. We think all this reflects a deeper Miller-MAGA miscalculation. So we're talking about all this with The Atlantic's Adam Serwer, who spent time in Minneapolis and wrote a good piece on the outpouring of popular energy there. We discuss what he saw on the ground among ordinary people, why it badly undermines the Miller-MAGA theory of American politics, and how MAGA poses a far bigger threat to social cohesion than immigrants do. The killing of Alex Pretti is different from the earlier death of Renee Good in ways that matter politically and institutionally. The video is clearer, the optics are harsher, and the official response has been far less defensible. In this case, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem immediately claimed Pretti brandished a weapon and intended to inflict maximum harm on officers. There is no evidence to support that claim, and there likely never will be. What should have been a period of restraint and investigation instead became a rush to narrative control. That choice carries consequences. Law enforcement credibility depends on patience and precision, not speed. When leadership declares conclusions before facts are established, it erodes trust not just among critics, but among potential allies. The Minneapolis footage has already become iconography, a moment that redefines how many Americans understand immigration enforcement. This will not fade quickly, and it will not be compartmentalized to one incident.Politics Politics Politics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. The DHS Civil War Comes Into the OpenWhat made this whole scene unavoidable is that it landed directly on top of an internal power struggle that has been building for months inside the Department of Homeland Security. On one side are Stephen Miller, Corey Lewandowski, and Kristi Noem, who favor aggressive, street level enforcement driven by visible numbers. On the other is Tom Homan, a hardliner himself, but one who believes deportations at scale require discipline, prioritization, and some measure of public legitimacy. The Minneapolis shooting detonated that fault line. Noem's public statements effectively forced the White House to intervene. Donald Trump responded by dispatching Homan to Minneapolis and opening direct communication with Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey. That is not a coincidence. It is a signal that the White House understands the damage being done and is trying to reassert control through a figure it trusts to stabilize the situation. Whether that effort succeeds depends on whether optics or operations ultimately win inside DHS.Organized Resistance and Local Political RealityAnother element that cannot be ignored is the sophistication of the protests themselves. Groups like ICE Watch were not reacting spontaneously. They were coordinating through encrypted messaging, dividing the city by districts, assigning roles, and establishing rules of engagement. That level of organization changes the risk environment for officers and protesters alike. Obstructing federal officers is a felony, regardless of intent, and these encounters were always going to escalate under those conditions. At the same time, Walz and Frey face their own political bind. Cooperating too closely with federal authorities risks backlash from highly motivated activist groups that have demonstrated an ability to mobilize quickly and aggressively. That tension leaves local leaders squeezed between federal pressure and domestic unrest, a dynamic that makes clean resolutions unlikely.Congress, ICE Funding, and the Shutdown ClockThe legislative consequences are now unavoidable. Senate Democrats are openly stating they cannot support funding bills that continue to finance ICE in its current form. House Republicans moved spending bills forward before the storm, but Senate leadership did not act in time. As of now, a government shutdown by the end of the week looks more likely than not. What makes this moment especially dangerous is that it did not need to escalate this far. With slower messaging, tighter discipline, and less performative leadership, DHS could have contained the damage. Instead, a tragic death has become a defining symbol, one that will stick to this administration through the midterms and beyond. This is the kind of image that reshapes political reality, not for a cycle, but for a generation.Chapters00:00:00 - Intro00:01:40 - Minneapolis00:23:23 - Update00:24:15 - Trump's Visit to Iowa00:26:08 - UK Conservatives00:27:24 - Vindman Runs for Senate00:31:41 - Evan Scrimshaw on Canada, Carney, and the Midterms01:04:40 - Steelers Talk01:21:46 - Wrap-up This is a public episode. I saw some talking head yesterday blaming Stephen Miller for what ICE is doing. She said Miller is evil and belongs in jail for what he's done. Tuesday, January 27, 2026 In this episode: Trump said he'll be “watching over” an “honest investigation” into the killing of Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis before blaming Pretti for carrying a gun he was legally permitted to have; House Democrats threatened to begin impeachment proceedings against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem if Trump doesn't fire her; Stephen Miller reportedly directed Noem to publicly claim that Alex Pretti wanted to “massacre” immigration agents after he was shot and killed in Minneapolis; Trump's immigration policies coincided with a year-to-year drop in U.S. population growth; and U.S. consumer confidence fell in January to its lowest level since 2014 as Americans grew more pessimistic about the economy and the job market. Stephen Miller, Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, J.D. Vance, and the entire MAGA Klan murdered Alex Pretti. They sent Bovino into early retirement, but he must be arrested, along with his agents who shot 10 bullets into Pretti, an ICU nurse for the VA who spent his life helping others. Demand the impeachment of President Stephen Miller: force Trump to throw him under the bus, too. It's a start to the demands for justice. To honor Pretti and our work ahead, find time to grieve. We cannot power through this collective rage and anxiety without releasing it. Even the strong need to cry in the shower. If we don't sit with our grief, it will force you to. Grieving is an act of resistance. It changes you, and it plants the seeds of justice that we will use to build a better world together. To the people of Minnesota, you have created an American Maidan, standing strong against tyranny. Even Ukrainians, freezing in the cold from Russia bombing their electrical grids, see you, and are calling your movement a Maidan. To grow a real resistance, we share a message recorded by Annie, a Gaslit Nation listener in Minneapolis. Our victory is guaranteed because our enemies are cowards who hide behind masks. America has defeated the Klan before. We must fight with urgency in a generational struggle. Join the General Strike this Friday January 31st. Divest from the corporations funding the MAGA regime–look to Cut Off the Spigot to learn how. And most importantly, stand by each other. As the people of Minnesota showed us, singing "Stand by Me" in the face of fascism: we win through our culture of care. Tonight's episode will run as usual.
