Marc Graveline is an aerodynamics consultant who works with WorldTour cycling teams as well as professional (e.g. Chelsea Sodaro, Lionel Sanders) and amateur triathletes, and road and gravel cyclists. He co-developed the Notio Konect, the first consumer on-bike aero sensor, and now develops his own device, the Gizmo. He also led the testing programme behind IRONMAN's decision to move the professional draft zone from 12 to 20 metres. We cover how to run an aero test you can actually trust, what to test and in what order, tyres and tyre pressure, and what IRONMAN's draft-zone testing actually found. HIGHLIGHTS AND KEY TOPICS: Why Marc disagrees with the idea that we have reached peak aero, and where he still sees the largest untapped gains across road racing, triathlon and gravel. Vi spanar efter tidiga höstflyttare vid Gärdefjärden och träffar fjällvandraren Sara som är halvvägs genom gröna bandet. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radios app. Augusti är här och en del fågelarter har nu börjat sin resa söderut. En populär rastplats är Gärdefjärden utanför Lövånger i Västerbottens kustlandskap. Det som tidigare var en havsvik har efter landhöjningen blivit en grund sjö omgärdad av betade strandängar. Under våren och hösten rastar tusentals gäss, änder och vadare vid sjön. Naturmorgons fältreporter Jonatan Martinsson sänder från Gärdefjärdens naturreservat i sällskap av Henrik Sporrong, reservatsförvaltare på länsstyrelsen i Västerbotten. Med kikaren i hand tar de tempen på fågellivet så här i början av höstens flyttning. Dessutom får vi höra mer om restaureringsarbetet som gjorts här. För några år sedan röjdes träd, buskar och sly bort för att öppna upp landskapet. Nu betas strandängarna av kor vilket både gynnar fågellivet och den biologiska mångfalden kring sjön.I sommar vandrar runt 125 personer den 130 mil långa sträckan mellan Grövelsjön i Dalarna och Treriksröset i norr. Den här turen, genom hela svenska fjällkedjan, kallas att genomföra Gröna bandet – eller ”Vita bandet” om man gör samma sak på skidor vintertid. Vi träffar läkaren och gröna bandet-vandraren Sara Attenfelt Bensow som den här sommaren lever ett liv med helt andra förutsättningar än därhemma.Vi pratar också med Malin Nääs Olsson som såg en igelkottsmamma flytta sina ungar från en boplats till en annan. Är det vanligt att de gör så och varför kvittrar den ena lilla igelkottsungen? Jessica Ångström på Världsnaturfonden svarar och berättar om igelkottsveckan som drar igång snart under vilken man vill ha allmänhetens hjälp med att räkna igelkottar. Förhoppningen är att datan som samlas in ska hjälpa forskare att förstå varför arten minskar och varför den har så stora bekymmer idag. Och så blir det fågelmysterium. Per Rudebjer hörde intensiv fågelsång från en buske i Ramsele men när han vände sig till en fågelsångsapp för att ta reda på vilken art det rörde sig om kunde appen inte identifiera sången. Juninatten bjuder på tiggande uggleungar och sjungande nattskärror i Siggefora. Och i dalen runt Sádijávrre hittar vi den rosa-vita vitmosslaven. Fältreporter Mats Ottosson har följt med när biologen Bo Söderström placerar ut mikrofoner i Siggeforaområdet i Uppland, för att fånga juninattsljud som tiggande uggleungar och sjungande nattskärror – och kanske någon överraskning. I direktsändningen på lördag morgon hoppas vi på sjungande trädlärka medan Bo spelar upp godbitar ur de inspelningar som gjordes tidigare under veckan. Bo Söderström berättar också vad det är som gör att han numera mycket hellre spelar in hur naturen låter än fotograferar hur den ser ut.Varg och lodjur hörs också i dessa skogar, och det var just ljudet av ylande vargar som tände Bo Söderströms önskan att spela in naturens ljudlandskap. De senaste två åren har han tagit ledigt från jobbet en stor del av våren för att kunna ägna sig åt att samla in naturens ljud på heltid.Och så dyker vi ner i en lav som har både lav och mossa i namnet: vitmosslaven. Den sticker ut i vitt och rosa i den flacka dalen runt Sádijávrre söder om Nikkaluokta. Ja, det ser ut som om någon tappat en påse rosa godisbilar på marken! Botanist Lars Fröberg berättar om laven som är som ett eget litet ekosystem.Meiofauna! Vad är det? Jo, det är pyttesmå organismer som lever på havsbotten. Och just nu pågår en internationell meiofauna-workshop på Tjärnö i norra Bohuslän. Ett 30-tal forskare letar efter mikroskopiska organismer som lever i sandbotten under våra fötter, djupa lerbottnar och korallrev. Det kan vara björndjur och ädelstensmaskar! Vi ringer upp Ulf Jondelius som håller i workshopen för att höra vad de hittat hittills.På många håll i södra Sverige kryllar det just nu av lindmätarlarver. De älskar att äta löv från träd, särskilt ekar. Entomolog Moa Pettersson berättar om det här utbrottet av fjärilslarver som återkommer med ett antal års mellanrum. Och även om det ser tråkigt med de kalätna träden är det ett skådespel att bevittna, och en som gläder sig är skalbaggen mindre larvmördare som gärna mumsar i sig laverna.I veckans kråkvinkel lutar sig Helena Söderlundh mot både Tomas Ledin och Sara Lidman. Sista veckan i mars inträffade inte mindre än fem skjutningar – flera av dem sker dagtid: i en lokaltrafikbuss, vid en fotbollsplan, på ett torg och i ett bostadsområde nära en lekplats. Platser där det har varit många andra människor närvarande, både barn, ungdomar och vuxna. – Vi har just nu alla generationers sämsta gärningsmän. Det är unga pojkar och flickor som blir lurade av cyniska, de har ingen vettig planering och tanke om att fly på ett strukturerat sätt, och de bryr sig i grunden inte om risken för att torska, säger Gunnar Appelgren, kriminalkommissarie som arbetat vid polisen i 41 år. Endast ett av offren överlever de här dagarnas skjutningar, en man i 50-årsåldern som besköts strax före lunchtid på Mathildatorget i Solna. En pojke under 15 år är frihetsberövad misstänkt för skjutningen.Dagen innan har en 17-årig kille skjutits ihjäl vid en fotbollsplan i Vårby gård, en 15-årig flicka misstänks för mordet. Flickan ska senare ha tagit tåget till Malmö och två dagar senare skjutit ihjäl en 15-årig pojke i stadsdelen Rosengård. Flickan nekar till brott.
