In the first hour of Sports Open Line tonight, Matt Pauley talks with two guests; Danny Vietti of MLB on CBS Sports & the host of the Wake and Rake podcast, and Benjamin Hochman, sports columnist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch!

131 gare disputate, 10 vittorie, 22 podi, 8 pole.
And just like that the first World Championship is wrapped up! Marc Marquez clinched his 9th World Championship at the Japanese GP over the weekend. Marc placed second in both the Sprint and the GP to none pother than a resurgent Pecco! The Moto3 race was neutered a little bit by a weird but brief sigh rain that spooked championship leader Rueda early on in the race. This let Munoz to take a commanding lead that he held until the end of the race. Rueda now has a chance to wrap up the tile at the next round. In Moto2 saw an on form Jake Dixion and Gonzalez qualify well. In the Race they both dropped back and rookie Holgado romped to other victory. Gonzalez was fast but too aggressive during a pass attempt on Vietti. Veitti went down and Gonzalez went to the long lap penalty loop. The guys also cover the new and go deep into things said by Michael Laverty. Matt Pauley continues to break down the Cardinals loss to the Rockies today, and he talks with Danny Vietti about what baseball looks like as we enter the last month and a half of the regular season.
In Moto2 domina Gonzales e Vietti quinto.

Diggia su Zarco, Honda in ripresa, KTM si difende, Yamaha no. Aprilia sfortunata e Ogura squalificato. This is a new adaptation of the classic 1986 comic book, so while the plot points of this film are openly discussed, it can hardly be called SPOILERS. Watchmen Chapter 2 is the second half of the animated adaptation of the classic 1986 comic book series. It picks up directly where Chapter 1 ended. Brandon Vietti directed both Chapters and is making his third appearance on the podcast. In this episode, Vietti discusses specific changes he made to the story based on original ideas and influence from the 2009 Zack Snyder film. He also addresses potential viewers who saw the 2019 HBO/MAX series Watchmen and may consider this film to be a prequel. Vietti also addresses the projects he's worked on that he's most known for. Watchmen Chapter 2 is out on digital and on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Jim and Rich review the first of the triple headers. First Jim talks about his busman holiday to the IMSA race in Indianapolis, then the guys go through all the news. After the new the guys break down the racing from San Marino! With heavy rain just before the weekend the track had all of the rubber washed off and this seemed to have massive effect on all the classes. In Moto3 it was normal shrive resumed as Alonso won a cracker of a race. The last few laps were quite a spectacle as Alonso, Piqueras, Vier and Holgado constantly changed positions. In Moto2 the guys discuss the surprise send place in Q2 by Joe Roberts. The real surprise was the race itself as Ogura made one of the most impressive starts this season, by powering around the outside of several riders to be third on the start. The race settled into a fight between Vietti, Canet and Arbolino. Arbolino looked like a sure bet to win his first race of the season but a gearbox problem caused him to run wide handing the lead to Canet. Can't was them pipped at the finish line by Vietti, by .029 seconds! This was the best Moto2 race of the season! MotoGp help up its end of the bargain by having a great late race battle between Martin and Bastianini. Where was Pecco? Well he struggled with his rear tire and fell off about halfway. Bastianini would win after aggressively move Martin out of the way. This championship is definitely going down to the last race of the season. This is a new adaptation of the classic 1986 comic book, so while the plot points of this film are openly discussed, it can hardly be called SPOILERS. Watchmen Chapter 1 is DC's newest full-length animated film, kicking off a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed 1986 Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons comic book. The movie was directed by Brandon Vietti, who joined this episode to discuss Watchmen Chapter 1. Vietti is a longtime DC animator known for his work on Young Justice, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. In this episode, Vietti discusses the process for adapting the storyline. He also discusses the other media adaptations, including a 2008 Motion Comic, the 2009 live-action Zack Snyder film, and the 2019 HBO Watchmen sequel/spin-off series. For Watchmen, Vietti had to walk a difficult line, staying faithful to the comic while making the story work in an animated format. Watchmen Chapter 1 is out on digital and will be released on Blu-Ray/DVD.
