Wales and Wycombe Wanderers striker Sam Vokes joins talkSPORT's Laurence Mora and host Geraint Hardy as we look back at the weekend's international football. Wales suffered a 4-0 drubbing in Slovakia and a bore draw in Gibraltar leading many to heap the pressure on Rob Page. Vokes and Mora answer the burning questions, should Page stay or go and is this really a transitional period for Wales? The Wycombe striker also looks ahead to facing Wrexham next season and, with the Euros set to start, he reminices back to that header against Belgium in 2016.
As we wrap up the season, Nottingham Forest has announced a significant clearout of players whose contracts have expired or loans have concluded. Felipe, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Wayne Hennessey, and Harry Arter will all be leaving the club on a free transfer. Are you sad to see any of these players go? In other news, we're thrilled to announce that Ola Aina has signed a contract extension, keeping him at the City Ground until 2025. His commitment to the team is a boost for next season after the full back had an impressive first year at the City Ground, with his versitilty to play on both the left and right back positions. Additionally, our loan players Giovanni Reyna, Divock Origi, Nuno Tavares, Gonzalo Montiel, and Rodrigo Ribeiro will be departing the club as their loan agreements have concluded. We appreciate their efforts during their time with us and wish them success in their careers, but which player was you most dissapointed with this season. Give us your opinion on all todays news, and which player you are most sad to see leave the City Ground. Plus don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to Forest Fan TV. Learn more about your ad choices. In a bid to not over-promise and under-deliver (classic Richard Leeism, that), we did state our next Between the Sticks would be three-to-four days after the last. Thankfully, we've managed to sync schedules and produce the following. All the key action from the majority of second group games is covered, including Diogo Costa's near mishap against Ghana and Wayne Hennessey's absolute mishap in Wales' defeat to Iran. Munir Mohamedi admirably stepped in at the eleventh hour for Bono as Morocco shocked Belgium, Edouard Mendy silenced the doubters with a couple of fine saves in Senegal's win over hosts Qatar, and Wojciech Szczesny stamped his name in World Cup folklore with one of the finest double saves you'll ever see in the tournament. Naturally, there's a wealth of Commentary Corner content, too. --- If you like what we do, taking a moment to jot a review on iTunes would be hugely appreciated. If you're not so keen on what we do, please do let us know that as well.

Alongside your questions, we discussed the games, the change of formation, and where Welsh football currently finds itself under Ryan Giggs. Has he led us well through his first 19 teams, and are we a team in transition still, whilst performing well and achieving our goals, or are we capable of more? Please do listen, and if you like the pod, share it on social media and with your friends.

The weekly Palace Pod is here and, as ever, is packed with all you’ll want to hear ahead of Crystal Palace’s home game against Burnley on Saturday. Player of the Month Wayne Hennessey talks about his fantastic run of form, then Chairman Steve Parish speaks with Roy Hodgson at Palace's Boxpark Takeover where CPLFC defender Jordan Butler, Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka spoke with Alex Howell.
This edition of the Official Palace Podcast will bring you fully up to speed on the recent week at Crystal Palace and is full of great interviews, eye-catching stats and, of course, Roy Hodgson’s weekly press conference. Palace’s goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely discusses Wayne Hennessey’s recent record-breaking achievement and about life as a shot-stopper and coach at Crystal Palace. Next is Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid, a patron of the Palace Foundation. She speaks about life as a Palace fan and helping to run a session for youngsters at Heavers Farm primary school. James Tomkins gives his update before Palace’s trip to Everton on Sunday, discussing the team around him and making the call for a big performance up at Goodison Park. If inane chat and stats is your thing then you’ll enjoy Statman’s usual dose of interesting facts ahead of the Toffees game. Palace TV’s Chris Grierson then talks to a host of Palace legends on their efforts during the Palace For Life Marathon March, including Andy Gray, Andy Johnson, Neil Shipperley, Saša Ćurčić and Mark Bright. Chairman Steve Parish also speaks on the fantastic charity effort and about why he took part. Finishing off, as ever, is Hodgson’s press conference where he answers questions from the media on team news, facing Everton and Palace’s recent form.
Mamadou Sakho opened up about his childhood, speaking openly and honestly about the difficulties he faced growing up in Paris and the lengths he had to go to as a youngster to get by before finding football and joining the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. Statman was on hand to give Chris Grierson the lowdown on Saturday's opponents Southampton and tried his best to remove the taste of fly from the Palace TV man's mouth... Don't ask. Chris also caught up with Wayne Hennessey following the goalkeeper's impressive start to 2018/19 to talk through his career today. He smashed Football League clean sheet records as a younger man before working his way up the pyramid and has now made close to a century of Premier League appearances for the Palace. Wayne was generous with his time and spoke in detail about his experiences in the game, including his adventures with Wales - and all with the sense of humour those at Copers Cope have come to expect from the big man. The Telegraph's Chief Football Writer Sam Wallace provided this week's insight from the world of football journalism. He discussed his appearances on Sky's Sunday Supplement and also explained how journalists go about selecting which game to attend each matchweek... Finally, to Copers Cope, where we had Roy Hodgson's pre-Saints press duties, and we spoke to the club's kit washer Spencer Ferguson to find out more about his role.
Wilf Zaha returns but it isn't enough to earn a result against Chelsea like last time. JD, Kevin, Jesse and John Curran from JCIS discuss that defeat at Stamford Bridge where Wilf played the second half. The also discuss Wayne Hennessey, Alex Sorloth, Christian Benteke, West Ham fans and all manner of thinks. Of course they also answer your questions and preview Saturday's trip to Huddersfield.
Well that hurt. Palace throw away a two goal lead to lose 3-2 to Manchester United. Jim, Kevin, Rob and Jesse are here to try to work out what happened, try to explain Wayne Hennessey and sign the praises of young Aaron Wan-Bissaka. They also answer your questions and look ahead to Saturday's trip to Chelsea.
“I am going to be a brilliant player,” Bebé said. He wasn’t. To our surprise, given his mediocre showing for the reserves, he made his United debut six days later in a Carling Cup win at Scunthorpe (Ferguson, scouting Champions League opponents Valencia, didn’t see Bebé play then either). It was the first of seven senior appearances. Two even brought goals, albeit in fortunate fashion; a shot that looped up off the Wolves defender George Elokobi and over the goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and a Champions League goal against Bursaspor, courtesy of a deflection off Ali Tandoğan." Episode Eighty Nine of the Blizzard Podcast looks back on 'Bye-bye Bebé' by Richard Jolly, originally published in Issue Fourteen in September 2014. In it he explores one of the most mystifying transfers of recent years - that of the unknown Portuguese forward Bebé to Manchester United. Read the full article here: https://www.theblizzard.co.uk/article/bye-bye-bebe "Yet his shortcomings were apparent and his United career came to an abrupt halt after the 2011 FA Cup win over Crawley. Ferguson’s team were dreadful and Bebé and Obertan, the two wingers, were the worst of a poor bunch. Their non-league counterparts looked more accomplished players." Wayne Hennessey has never been talked about (and praised) at such length. Palace get a fantastic win at league leaders Chelsea and Jim, Andy, Kevin and James are here to discuss it, as well as answer your questions and preview the games with Southampton and Arsenal.
